Little Rock, AR – Governor Mike Huckabee issued the following statement about Jim Pitts:

“Huck PAC and I are proud to support Jim Pitts in his re-election bid for Texas State Representative in Texas District 10.

Jim Pitts has been a strong protector of the unborn, has deep roots in his community and has dedicated his life to serving his constituents and the values they hold dear. As the author of Texas' budget, Jim Pitts is responsible for the largest tax cuts in the state's history and worked to defund Planned Parenthood. Pitts' leadership and conservative principles are good for Texas families. I wholeheartedly endorse Jim Pitts for re-election to the Texas House.

I hope you’ll join me in supporting Jim Pitts in his re-election bid for Texas State Representative in District 10."

    Re: Texas Endorsements

SC - Texas Strong 05/23/2012 08:53 PM thanks for your note about Mr. Simpson in District 10.

I wonder, for instance, if Rep Pitts applied formally for an endorsement consideration. All the best, btw Rep Pitts.

As for the Senate, Lt Gov Dewhurst, I wonder if as in the case with your Governor, Mike has a working relationship with the LG? It may be both men were asked by your LG first-and the LG fits the minimum requirements both RP and MH adhere to in their endorsement process.

I've heard it said that the Lt Gov would be better than 1/3 of the present GOP senators in DC in terms of fighting for conservative causes.

    Lt. Gov. Dewhurst of Texas

I wish you would also endorse Texas State Representative David Simpson from District 7. He is also a very committed Christian, a social/fiscal conservative, ethical and forthright. Rep. Simpson has served admirably for the past two years but has not always walked the party line. The man Simpson defeated two years ago is running against him again and has resorted to dirty campaign tricks using false information and dubious advertising. This candidate served for fourteen years and wants the power back! He is desperate for votes and is resorting to attack ads and mailings. Please give HuckPAK endorsement to David Simpson.
