I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and connect with you as we move forward in working to elect conservative candidates here in Missouri. I am a resident of southwest Missouri and had the privilege of helping to coordinate the volunteer efforts for Mike Huckabee's presidential campaign here in the state. Earlier this year, I was asked to become a state coordinator for the HuckPAC National Volunteer Team (NVT) in Missouri. Last week Philip Sherman of Sedalia has stepped up to assist me in our coordination efforts.
To begin building our statewide network of volunteers and increase our effectiveness, I would like to ask each of you to reply to this email and share briefly about yourself and what caused you to sign up as a HuckPAC volunteer. Please include any strengths, giftings, or key contacts that you are willing to share with the group as well as the county in which you live. One of our first steps of building our NVT network in Missouri is to identify a county coordinator for each county in Missouri. If you are interested in serving in this capacity (even temporarily), please note that in your email as well.
I am excited about our efforts here in Missouri, and you are a crucial part! Don't forget about the HuckPAC house parties scheduled across the state for this Thursday night (click here for more details). Also, please encourage your family and friends to sign up at www.huckpacvolunteer.com as well as our Missouri HuckPAC group on Facebook. I look forward to working together with you over the next few months.
Standing for faith, family, and freedom!

Good morning, fellow Missourian Huckabee supporters. I'm late coming to this new site, partly because of technical difficulties (we have changed both phone and internet providers; hope the new one is more reliable--but I'm blogging from work because we still can't see the map on our computer at home) and because of the initial discouragement as we see advancing entropy and impending chaos in our nation.
My husband and I have been Huckabee supporters since we became aware of his candidacy after the Iowa primary elections. We have both come to recognize neither the Democrats nor the Republicans have any desire to represent us. Having read all Governor Huckabee's books and followed his television appearances, I remain certain Governor Huckabee offers the leadership our nation desperately needs.
We are retired after years in administrative support work and language teaching on my part and engineering on his. (True retirement is not easy to keep; several days a week go to administrative support work at a nearby seminary) We now are humble and obedient servants to a pack of canines, have given in to our shared addiction to books, and have the beginning of a nice herb/flower/veggie garden in our tiny front yard.
We are "little people"--not eligible for any major bailouts, no key contacts, just willing to do what little people can do to help. We have a unique opportunity to support one of the HuckPAC candidates; Sam Graves is our representative.
Are you like me? Wanting to support conservative values, but overwhelmed with other priorities? If I can no longer devote 40 hours a month to volunteering, I can make 10 phone calls in 15 minutes. How about you? If I can't get to a tea party, I can send an e-mail. We "little people" need to get together in Clay County even if it is only via e-mail to encourage each other.

Howdy fellow Texan, SarahAnn, you are so right about Hollywood. I did watch the awards because my husband and I did like Slumdog Millionaire and hoped it would win. Besides WALL-E, another good one, these were the only two nominated movies we had seen. We do not watch much now on TV either, even Fox News unless Mike is going to be on. Occasionally we do tune in to Lou Dobbs Show on CNN. I enjoy the Hallmark Channel and some old movies. There is just so much garbage on TV and in the Movies. Yes, we saw Fireproof and were very inspired and impressed with it. I am glad it got good support at the box office, just wish the movie industry would take more notice.
We are reading a lot more now, playing games while we listen to gospel and bluegrass music, a nice way to fill the evening hours. -

Jimmy Morris,
Missouri, has really been blessed to have a citiizen like you... And, hope God will richly reward you in all that you are doing. Thank you for your stand for Gov. Huckabee, and for our country...
Sandra, native Texan,
I agree the testimonies have been amazing. With all the things going wrong, it inspires me, that there are so many dedicated Huckabee's , working to turn it all around ,and get it right..... I am from Texas, too.......
I did not watch the academy awards, I knew it would depress me... I did want to know if the movie, "Fireproof " , with Kurk Cameron, won anything... I noticed that out of the top 20 DVD's it is #4... I know it made a lot of money at the theaters , too.... I do not know how they pick their winners... I know, I have quit believing who they select is the best, years ago.......
I have so many actors & actresses on my off list... I cannot watch hardly any, movies.. Not, that the theaters are losing any money on me...Fireproof, is the only movie I actually went to see, and I will prob. buy the DVD, just to make sure my whole family sees it....
I need to make a list of who I have banned, it is getting too, many.. I won't watch the news channels, either.. I had banned Fox after they treated Gov. Huckabee so bad, but had to watch them after they gave the Govenor a job.. And, have him on so many other shows...
I have satelite and abt. 200 channels, and there is never anything fit to watch... So, I watch Fox.....
May God Bless The U.S.A. , once again....

I have been very inspired and rejuvenated by all the testimonial entries given the past few weeks by HuckPAK supporters.
I was not too surprised by the Academy Awards having Bill Mayer on to reinforce his stance that all religions and gods are the source of evil in the world. I think he supported Obama even though he believes all Christians are stupid. Although Sean Penn was not considered the first choice for best actor I think it was Hollywood's way of endorsing homosexual demands for same-sex marriage and make it normal and acceptable in our country's society. The program showed at least two clips Penn and another man kissing from the movie MILK. Penn used his own form of "hate speech" to condemn everyone who did not support gay marriage in CA during his acceptance diatribe with loud applause from the audience. Very depressing and revulsive to me.
I do hope that believers will boldly denounce the words of both these "celebrities" proclaimed across the world to the millions of viewers. Christians must ban together more than ever to fight with Biblical truths those in the entertainment field who offend our faith and moral beliefs.
