Huckabee Releases Statement About Dewhurst's Bid In Texas

Little Rock, AR – Governor Mike Huckabee issued the following statement about David Dewhurst:

“Huck PAC and I are pleased to endorse Lieutenant Governor David Dewhurst. A native Texan, Lt. Governor David Dewhurst is also a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force and Central Intelligence Agency. Serving as the President of the Texas Senate, David, a true fiscal conservative, has worked to pass legislation to create new jobs and see economic prosperity spread across the Lone Star State.

Lt. Governor Dewhurst believes that a secure border is much more than an immigration issue; it is a national security concern. Leading Texas to enhance border security by hiring additional law enforcement officers and investing in new border surveillance technology, Lt. Governor Dewhurst takes the issue of border security seriously and will continue fighting for real solutions.
