Huckabee Releases Statement about Collins' bid for election to Congress representing Georgia's 9th Congressional District
Little Rock, AR - Governor Mike Huckabee issued the following statement about Doug Collins:
Huck PAC and I are proud to endorse Doug Collins election to Congress in Georgia's 9th Congressional District.
Doug Collins is a former small business owner and current managing partner at a law firm in Gainesville. He also serves as a Chaplain in the U.S. Air Force Reserves. Doug is a strong conservative, and has consistently been pro-life throughout his personal life, as well as during his career as a Baptist minister and citizen legislator. He also proudly supports the 2nd Amendment and has received the endorsement of the National Rifle Association.
Doug will continue to support conservative principles as a member of Congress, and supports a constitutional amendment defining marriage as one man and one woman for life. He will also oppose Obamacare at every opportunity and will work to pass a full repeal of this bad law.

Sam Teasley grew up in Cobb County, Georgia. He recognizes the values that have made our community and our country great: hard work, integrity, personal responsibility, and a genuine concern for others. Sam is a conservative who believes that government’s role is to protect the fundamental rights of the individual. This view is set forth in our country’s founding document, the Declaration of Independence.
He also believes that government is not the source of economic growth, but it can foster an environment that encourages or discourages it. Sam is committed to making Georgia one of the most desirable places for a business, whether a small business or a large one, to set up shop. As more businesses are started, or choose to locate here, the jobs created will provide the growth we need to get our economy moving again.
