Little Rock, AR – Governor Mike Huckabee issued the following statement about John Koster:

“Huck PAC and I are proud to support John Koster for Congress from Washington’s 2nd Congressional District. John is a third generation Dairyman, and understands the value of hard work. John has the right kind of unique experience to make a great Congressman. During his time in the legislature, John led the way on lowering taxes and cutting spending. After being elected to the Snohomish County Council, John was selected to serve on the board of directors for the National and State Associations of Counties.

John shares our conservative values – in fact, John has a 100% pro-life voting record. Also, John believes that marriage is between one man and one woman and he believes in the second amendment to the U. S. Constitution affording Americans the right to keep and bear arms.

Please join me in supporting John Koster for Congress, let’s make sure that Washington gets a strong dose of the this conservative.”

Re: King5 News UpFront with David Mak Mini- Debate

I am grateful that Huck PAC and Governor Huckabee have endorsed Mr. Koster at this time. Similarly, folks must realize that Mr. Koster from Washington state has endorsed Huck PAC and Governor Huckabee.

Please watch the debate between Mr. Koster and long-time Congressman Larsen at King5 New UpFront with David Mak.

Mr. Mak was pretty good, and I thank both candidates for squaring off in this setting. This informative debate really, really, really, really offers a service to our people at this time. Please view the entire debate and the discussion after the debate.

This mini-debate was very revealing. Besides being a little nasty and all over the plate in the way he views the way the world functions, Mr. Larsen seems at best to value charity with his own special interests and believes tax payer money is to be used to pay for little projects that do not fix huge city and state problems.

It also showed Mr. Koster to be a disciplined man and a kind man who clearly understands the problems we face and the kinds of difficult and responsible solutions we need to consider and do to fix those problems.

Thank you Mr. Koster for hanging in there. You did well in the mini-debate. You seemed to listen well; showed yourself to be tempered, but firm; and presented sensible solutions. I can see now how important your race really is up there. Also, I am grateful that you and Governor Huckabee can stand together. All the best.

Mike I am glad to see you stepping outside of the eastern and southern states to make endorsements. As a Westerner, I have seen a lot of people who were very impressed with you in the last election, but no one has taken you seriously, because you don't seem to have a presence here. If we get the chance to back you for the next presidential election, this kind of step is imperitively. I have some connections to the snohomish area, and am sure that this man will make a great candidate for Washington to get behind.
