Governor Huckabee - I, for one, am very concerned about the proliferation of Islam in America. Just today, I received a link to a video that appears to support my concerns - "An Alarming video every Westerner should see". Here's the link - I would appreciate your opinion.

Re: Who ya gonna call? David, Rudy and Donald

    Dear Governor Hucakbee,

The comments of Sylwester, Steven?08/27/2010 06:36 PM?and Brunkhorst, Elgonda?08/29/2010 06:41 PM on this issue are well stated. The “Golden Rule” and “The Rule of Law” need to work in tandem when solving this dilemma.

Governor Huckabee, perhaps you can consider re-defining the problem as not a “religious freedom” issue or an “American/Muslim relations” issue which ironically an elitist-minded Imam is getting people to fight over, but a “freedom of assembly” issue. Myriads of New Yorkers need leadership established in love and legal representation as they are not being heard, and being lied about and threatened for seeking what is right at this time.

It’s amazing that you, Governor David Paterson, former Mayor Rudy Guiliani, and Donald Trump are all in New York at this time and have the time to use your God-given skills to bring satisfactory resolution to this dilemma that needs wise ethical resolution.

Mike, encourage Governor Paterson in his loving efforts at this time to keep his resolve to serve as mediator to re-locate the site in a good way as a proven healer. Encourage former Mayor Rudy Guiliani to literally work on this re-location committee as legal council(the teeth of the dog) and a strong voice to represent the millions of disenfranchised New Yorkers who are either 1) traumatized victims of 9/11 and cannot literally accept such a Park51 assembly; 2) professional first-time responders who literally see danger in such a Park51 assembly; and 3) NY business community and tax payers who see unfair tax breaks and land deal opportunities being meted out for a religious group at this particular business assembly site.

And encourage the high-profile Donald Trump to work on this re-location committee as the businessman who knows how to get properties built at the proper sites and represent the Burlington Coat Factory Business Memorial and Business Rejuvenation Corridor at Park51 Ground Zero to be “blessed” on September 11, 2011 by the NY business community in memory of those businessmen and women who were killed while flying to work on 9/11 and all who risk their lives to make the USA work as a nation every day.

And may all key religious leaders in the city be given an opportunity to bless this business project and may it be led by a representative from the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at Ground Zero.

    Re: Sean and Mike

Mr. Hannity, thank you for keeping the NYC mosque/community center issue on the front burner of American hearts and minds as Americans prepare to mourn for our dead and suffering at another 9/11 memorial service around our land and as we prepare to vote in the 2010 mid-terms and in 2012.

Good reporting and analysis of the situation from experienced contributors on your program Mr.Hannity (like above) is helping people understand that this is not a “freedom of religion” or "Iraq war reparations" issue at all; it is, as some astute bloggers have shared at Mike Huckabee’s Huck PAC, a “freedom of assembly" issue.

The legal question should be “does a group of self-proclaimed peace-loving religious activists who acquired a dubious property at a dubious location at a dubious time in a dubious manner for a dubious purpose have the right to develop and assemble at this particular planned site when this assembly and its subsequent activities will intentionally/unintentionally 1) cause continued trauma and anguish to 9/11 victims, their families and our troops fighting and dying because of 9/11; 2) attract terrorist attacks(internal attacks by zealots, external attacks from warring factions, or enraged vigilantes) on the property and nearby properties igniting local unrest and international turmoil with possible harm to American soldiers overseas ;and 3) promote tax fraud on NYC and the State using religion as a cover to gain unfair access and illegal funding to acquiring potentially vast plots of land for years to come in a dubious community re-development project?

    Gov. Mike

SORRY!!! I disagree with your support for Bill McCollum here in Florida. And now I see a lot more have also as Rick Scott won the election. I moved here in 1972 and supported McCollum in many elections that he ran in. He doesn't win elections. He is close to a liberal with Reagon clothes on. We think Scott will make a lot better Govenor. He is not a professional politition. I think he will be good for Florida. WE need to bust the GOOD OL'E BOY SYSTEM. I think Scott will. God bless you,

Very enlightening and I agree that it is NOT the place for the mosque + Islamic center to build near Ground Zero, that is like rubbing salt into the feelings of people.
It is definitely TIME for all USA citizens to take a stand on establishing our values and the basics of what we believe. I moved to the USA because I believe the Constitution, and great has been the disappointment in seeing how far from reality that is these days. Thank you for all you are doing to get back to the foundation and to restore + build something good.

In Ephesians 6:10-18 (NIV), Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, wrote to the saints that are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints."

St. Paul's mighty words still ring true.

The warring issues in our world today are many, but most of them are interrelated at the spiritual level. Mike Huckabee courageously does his part in the fight, but we should not make him stand alone. We must each of us stand up to do what we can at every step along the way, and together we can make a difference.

In 1 John 4:7-21 (NIV), John — the apostle and the author of the Gospel of John and Revelation — wrote to Christians in the Roman province of Asia:

"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother."

St. John's mighty words still ring true. God be praised. Amen

I wish more American were aware of what really going on in our country. We all need to stand up and as Americans, and remember what America was build on. Truth, Justice and pursuit of Happiness. We need to stand for something or we will fall for anything.

mike huckabee, represents hope for this soured nation. if he was where he should be, the white house, we would be much better off. i thank the good Lord for individuals like mike. he speaks of vaues, something this nation has been lacking for far to long. america has a blueprint of disaster right in front of it, be it europe and it's dealing with the muslim issue. germany wakes up and send them (mosque) packing. if these are not hard fact results, of the path a nation will travel, if they choose to bow to this, than we are as doomed as predicted. with that, our only hope is that the rapture comes soon. God help this nation ans bless mr. mike huckabee

"Innocent non-Muslims"... According to Muslims, there is no such thing. So they could kill millions of us and never kill one "Innocent non-Muslim".

I am glad that Hannity had Huckabee on the show - I am trusting in the men that know the truth to get it out into the public before Nov But more importantly - the mosque? This is an outrage to American's
Tolerance has gone way over board - help get us back on track!
