Huck PAC Endorses Tim Griffin For Congress in Arkansas CD-2

Huck PAC and I are pleased to announce our support of Tim Griffin for Congress. Tim will put the values of Arkansas first, and will make sure to listen to the people of the 2nd district.

As a small business owner, Tim knows firsthand what it is like to sign the front of the paycheck. He understands the issues facing small business owners, and recognizes that small businesses are the backbone of our economy.

Tim wants to end to the out of control spending and soaring national debt that is coming from Washington – and he knows, like Arkansas families have to do – the Federal government must stop spending money it doesn’t have.

Tim will take the values he learned growing up in Arkansas with him DC – firmly believing that all life is precious and that marriage is between one man and one woman for life. Tim is also a firm believer in the 2nd amendment and the freedom it brings.

I hope you will join me in supporting Tim Griffin.

I recently came across an old song by Russ Taff and Larnell Harris that has such a powerful message to those who are working together to reach a certain goal. As a matter of fact, we have a fellow Huck Pac member aka "Together We Stand." This song is entitled, "We Will Stand."

Liberals have been 100% tone deaf to America in passing their radical agenda regardless of what the national opinion polls indicate--even the liberal ones! We need to adamantly back every true conservative & do our part seeing them to victory in November as NOW is our opportunity to get this country back on the right track.
I'm supporting Tim Griffin & every other candidate that won't back down from important issues. Let's not forget state legislative elections & local elections too, as too often the majority is not being heard.

Governor Huckabee: Please consider for an upcoming show a credible guest (WSJ journalist, professor, expert...) to shine light on the liberals "Lame Duck Strategy."
Many Americans are oblivious to the fact that liberals are still strategizing on how to ram through all the bills most Americans don't want, including union 'card check', additional 'Cap & Trade' carbon taxes & regulations, and numerous other prgressive agenda list controversial issues. They know they'll lose seats this fall.

Democrats promised no extraordinary measures to pass ObamaCare, yet they certainly did everything they could to pass a bill they knew every single national opinion poll suggested the majority of Americans opposed.

Wall Street Journal: "The Obama-Pelosi Lame Duck Strategy"
    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704293604575343262629361470.html

It's time to confront "toss up" districts & get liberal politicians on the record saying they won't try to ram through anything in a lame duck session even if they aren't elected--and then if they later try, we can use their words against them to prove them as blatantly untruthful where their words aren't worth a dime, or as keepers of their word. Enough attention will thwart this last ditch effort from the left and, conversely, ignoring this potential threat could be extremely damaging to this greatest nation. Let's be vocal & have our voices be heard contacting Congress.

Thank you so much for sharing about Salvador and your "extended" family. What an honor. Sounds like you have perfected your three-pointers in the area of immigration. What a reward for your diligence and kindness. And what a benefit for Team Huckabee to have you dribbling around out there and mentoring the next generation John Wooden style.

Actually my Huckabuddy Mike, I completely agree with you on this one. Also, I haven't perfected my three pointer shots yet, so I will not attempt a shot at your boat. lol

The immigration issue is indeed a very complex one, and one for which I have had some first hand experiences when I assisted my daughter with some of the Hispanics in a local carpet mill as an HR director. I became friends with several of them, and there was one young teen aged boy that my daughter and I took under our wing to assist him in getting his green card.

This young man had come legally on what is called a worker's permit, and completely followed the guide lines as he would re apply every year for this worker's permit until he could get this green card.

I learned a lot from my experiences in visiting the Immigration Office with this young man who was here simply because he wanted to work hard, and make a better life for himself than what he had experienced in Mexico. The process of obtaining this green card was very tedious and time consuming as he turned 21 after waiting for 4 years, then he had to start the process over, and finally after continuing to keep all appointments with Immigration after a total of approximately 10 years he received his green card.

The point I am trying to make here is sometimes it is necessary to show kindness but at the same time, the discernment of where to direct this kindness. I learned from this young man that there were a lot of hard working illegal immigrants that had a much harder time in becoming legal as maybe their original documents in their country had been lost, and many of them got discouraged and quit trying. Then there are the ones who just don't try at all, and lastly the ones who are here for no possible good at all.

So, I hope I have not made this situation anymore confusing than it really is, and I do believe that we cannot paint these immigrants, legal or not with a broad brush. I also strongly believe in following the laws of the land, and certainly our borders do need to be secured.

So, Yes Mike I feel that Gov. Huckabee will be a valuable asset for Tim Griffin to help him be humane with this very complex issue and at the same time be within the boundaries of the law of our land.

BTW, the young man to which I referred--his name is Salvador. He is married to a wonderful young lady now and has three beautiful children which he now considers them to be my God children!

Re: Tim Griffin vs. Joyce Elliot
    and the Immigration Debate

I am not sure where I am going with this thread, but here is a shot. Seeing Mxn and Capt Obvious have posted already below gives me hope that if I am way off they will not shoot my boat out of the water...just a warning shot over the bow.

With all the recent news going on about immigration, illegal immigration(what other nations do to illegal immigrants like the evil case of the US young Christian man being tortured now in N Korea), and spy deportation(the Russian case), it seems immigration should be a big issue when Tim Griffin and his opponent Joyce Elliot square off.

Recall, when Mike was Governor Huckabee he did what I believe was the right and humane thing in backing legislation sponsored by Dem Joyce Elliot (Tim Griffin opponent) to give special Arkansas college scholarship help qualified illegal immigrants (it was shot down, btw)

For instance, right now, what do you do with the Russian spy case where the children of these spies may have not known anything about their parents work. And if they are of legal college age and US citizens to stay in the US where they may no no other life, should they stay? It will not be easy; in some cases they might have to be monitored because they could insist they knew nothing when the kids may be in training to be the next spies. Still, this is a dilemma that needs a fair decision.

Similarly, when politicians fail to deal with poor but hopeful illegal immigrants for years and years and years and some of their children grow up knowing nothing else but the great USA, when the politicians decide to deport the illegals, what should happen to the college aged kids who lived exemplary lives better than many US citizens?

It is the humane thing and Republican thing to do to wish to reward on merit, pick up those left behind so that they will do the same for many others in the future as they produce our nations wealth, and to raise up loyal citizens who will defend our nation and not wish to blow it up. Very practical and pro-active.

Take the children educated under our so-called great system and who demonstrate no criminal record, but demonstrate exemplary records to stay as legal expedited "foreign exchange students" on probation with legal visas. How to pay for this? I suppose this is a state issue. Perhaps charities could help or companies that hire illegals immigrants be fined and the fines be put into a fund that would pay for the scholarships.

To keep such kids as if they were "foreign exchange students" enrolled from Mexico with special expedited student visas for instance might be very honorable. Why? The 12 years of living in the US without criminal incident proves at least these kids are loyal to the US. I rather support such children and have them improve our true relations with the world in business and education than to have some students who come on student visas from overseas to deceive us and then use their education to fly our planes into our own buildings.

So, I am just trying to raise what could be an interesting scenario to solve if Tim and Joyce face off, seeing Governor Huckabee in principle supported the Elliot legislation. I think Tim can offer the best solution and a humane one with the Huckabee touch to win this Fall.

So many wonderful candidates, it is somewhat difficult to stay up to date on them. I just talked to a nice gentleman originally from Arkansas through my phone banking for Congressman Graves, and he was very familiar with Gov. Huckabee as well as his endorsed candidates, proving it is indeed a very small world. He told he was also a strong Huckabee supporter!

Therefore, Tim griffin, I'm sure you will have a very positive and successful campaign since you have been endorsed by a very positive leader!

If it weren't for HuckPAC I would not know about good candidates such as Tim Griffin. Thank you, Governor Huckabee, for enabling me to support this pro-life, pro-freedom candidate. I believe donations to HuckPAC make a difference, and I'm grateful for the opportunity.
