If you live in the Midwest, then you’ve had to watch liberal Democrats win Senate and congressional seats every two years.
I ask you the age old question, “Are you better off?”
Let’s see:
- Our government is bigger than it was;
- Our taxes have risen;
- Our health care costs are still rising – and are now government controlled;
- The backroom deals in Washington continue; and,
- Illegal immigration continues – unchecked.
So, are you better off? I submit the answer is “no” and in fact, I think we’re worse off with their kind of liberal leadership.
My leadership committee Huck PAC is committed to making a positive difference.
We always focus on supporting strong conservatives – committed to life, secure borders, reducing our national debt and lower taxes.
Many of our recent endorsements have been given to candidates in the Mid-Western states: Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Michigan.

Wow! This is like old times when we Huckabeans would get on the back page to communicate--maybe we could even serve up some coffee for these candidates?
BTW, I almost forgot to mention the most important endorsement that Tom received a few months ago, and that was the one from our own Brian Donegan, aka BDBoppper.
Most on Facebook are aware of how much work Brian has done especially in Iowa for Bob Vander Plaats, and he is the creator of "Can Do Conservataives." I am so proud of Brian as he continues to work so hard for the Conservative candidates.
Please scroll down to view his endorsed candidates:

Captain - very good to see you again
and thank-you for your kind & wise words.
You have always been a great supporter and encourager !Maxine & Captain - I am sure that there is some good qualified candidates listed here. It is the responsibility of us voters to do our own homework and investigation even when someone we respect endorses them. It just makes good sense and when in doubt, more than likely HuckPac endorsed candidates would be a place that I would look.
Good for Mike Pence and Eric Cantor on their wise decision to endorse
Tom Graves ! -

Thanks Captain and Jill for your encouragement as well as your strong support for these Huck Pac endorsed candidates.
Also, a big thank you to Rep. Mike Pence for endorsing the dedicated conservative, Tom Graves, that I described in my previous post. What a difference a day makes, huh? He also received an endorsement yesterday from Eric Cantor. As our friend Huskers would say, "SWEET"!!

Jill and Maxine--
So good to "meet" again! Thanks for the reminder, Maxine, that people do let us down, and for your wise commentary, Jill.
I share your high expectations, Jill--especially for candidates HuckPAC has endorsed. I continue to support Governor Huckabee because of his unfailing integrity. It would be great if we could have an "ask the candidate" blog here. Sometimes the candidates'websites have contact information, but it would be good to have open discussion between HuckPAC-endorsed candidates and their HuckPAC supporters.
One reason we don't display IXTHOUS symbols on our cars is the fear that in an unguarded moment we might fall into unChristlike behavior and bring reproach.
Praying the November 2010 and 2012 elections give us leaders who serve out of love for our country, information media seeking to give us truth, and citizens who deserve them.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree that we do need to be reminded that candidates for office have some of the same human frailties as all of us.
However, that being said
I would also like to caution those who make the decision to serve our country in one office capacity or another, to only do so if you truly have a love of this country and the American people. I don't want anyone to run for any personal ambition or gain. The desire has to come from within, a servant who truly cares and is willing to listen to the hearts and cries of our citizens.
We are living in a time when we are truly fed up with politicians who are counterfeits, dishonest, greedy, self-serving, deceitful, with no transparency.I never have been a democrat but I can certainly agree with former President Harry S. Truman who said that "The buck stops here" ... He had that right! How often do we hear anyone say that anymore and mean it ? .. I never hear it, never!
Please ... know your staff and people who work for you behind the scenes because it only takes one bad apple to spoil the barrel.
It will end up being a bad reflection on you.Please watch that you do not take your supporters for granted. If you don't listen to them when you are running for office ... what makes you think that they will believe that you will listen to them when you get to Washington?
I have worked for a number of companies in my life and my main complaint was that NO ONE would take ownership of the unnecessary daily problems and aggravations that were dumped on the employees, simply because those in authority were irresponsible and self-serving. You might say that they stold from the company because they never did what they were hired and paid to do.
We are living in a time where we are fed up with politicians that we cannot trust and of course, the Tea Party movement speaks for itself.
I do expect my leaders to be a cut above the average 'Joe Blow' down the street. If not ... then please do not apply.
This may all sound a little extreme but if the citizens of these United States don't start holding their candidates and politicians to a higher standard ... then I don't foresee a change of climate in Washington.

As the 2010 elections are approaching so fast, there is a lot of reason for hope, optimism, and excitement. Sometimes, however among these pleasant sentiments and emotions a touch of disappointment can cause supporters to pause, and put things into perspective.
I have often cautioned my fellow supporters about putting these candidates on a pedestal or on a puppet string to meet our expectations.
The last few days have been a time for me to swallow a little dose of that same medicine myself as I experienced a shocking disappointment of one of Huck Pac's former endorsed candidates when he participated in a smear campaign against one of the most dedicated conservatives I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
For me, this was a time not only of disappointment, but of resentment and discouragement as I had been guilty of not realizing the consequences when we have the expectation that just because we may support a candidate doesn't mean they will always agree with us or even that they will always do what is right.
I made the decision to share this experience as I thought there might be others this has happened to and may want to just throw in the towel and give up on all of them. What we need to realize, however is that this support of the candidates is not about us, but rather about who will best serve our country and defend the Constitution, knowing we are dealing with those who like ourselves are not perfect, and could stumble at any given time.
I also think it would be good if we could have some kind of a forum or thread to ask these candidates questions as sometimes they could address certain areas that would be helpful to Huck Pac as well as it's readers.
Thanks for allowing me to share my thoughts--I hope they will be beneficial to others.

Sounds good,
You know Marlin Stutzman is still running in a competative race in Indiana and would probably still appreciate your help!
