The Bob Vander Plaats phone bank is now active and will remain up until Wednesday afternoon. Governor Huckabee will be in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on February 24 to campaign for Bob Vander Plaats' Huck PAC's endorsed candidate for Governor of Iowa. To help you all get started making calls, here are the instructions for the phone bank, along with the suggested script. We need the Huck PAC family involved in Bob's campaign. Log in and make as many phone calls as you can. We are counting on you.   Remember, the purpose of the phone bank is to make sure as many people as possible know about the rally for Bob which will be held on Wednesday at the Cedar Rapids Marriott from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.  For more information about the rally, please click here.

NOTE:  log into your Huck PAC account, click on your dashboard, it will show phone bank at the bottom of the page.  Click on that and follow the instructions below.

Phone Bank Instructions

1. There is an Open Script tab at the right side of each record, click this button to see a pop-up window with the text you can follow and read for each call. The script does not change per call, but is there for your convenience. Step by step instructions for making calls are provided on the script.
2. The name of the person to call is in large bold letters with the last name followed by the first name. The phone number to call is immediately below the name with area code and number.
3. To make and record the results of your calls you can complete the web form provided, or use one the two options provided in the tan box on the top right of the page. (Regardless of the option you choose, you'll still need to complete the online form for each record to register your results.)
4. 1. Fill out the appropriate check boxes that match the result of your call. The comment box is optional and is there to record any messages or notes you'd like to make for that call. After you complete the call just click the red "Submit" button at the bottom right of the call box.
   2. The "Export As Excel" option will allow you to save an Excel file of the names and status options you can use to record results.
   3. The "Print" option will open up a printable version of the call sheet you can use to record your calls.
   (Remember, whether you export to Excel or use the print option, you still need to complete the online form for each record to register your results.)

6. After you finish making the 20 calls provided per bank, all you need to do is click the red "Complete" button at the bottom left of the last call box. This will register and complete your calls and allow you to request a new set of phone numbers.
