Merry Christmas

As the holiest day of the year for Christians fast approaches, I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas. In today’s politically correct society, many people and businesses refrain from wishing each other “Merry Christmas” instead preferring the more generic “Happy Holidays.” I believe that each of us should remember the true meaning of December 25. It is the day of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and Christians everywhere celebrate the day according to their own traditions.

Our world faces many problems. As we in America deal with some of the most important issues of our lifetime, such as a struggling economy, health care reform, rising taxes and an expansion of the federal government, As Americans, even with all of our problems, we have much to celebrate. We live in the greatest country the world has ever known.

I hope that each of us will take the time to contemplate and celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. On this day, our Savior was born. Because of his birth, mankind has received the promise of eternal life.

My family and I wish each of you a very Merry Christmas. To our non-Christian friends we say Happy Holidays. Please remember to pray for our troops, as they serve thousands of miles away from home. May they be safe and return to their families soon.

True, there is no salvation in His birth, but there is no salvation without it, either. Ditto for His teaching and example. Except that He was born of a virgin, He couldn't die for us, and except that His words were heard, the Cross would have saved no one because no one would have embraced it and claimed His blood as the apportionment for their sins.

    Dear Governor Huckabee,
You and Janet have been an amazing blessing to me in these past two years since I first got to know you in the summer of 2007. As I have studied your journey through life as a kid, teen, young adult, husband, pastor, politician and now commentator and TV show host and have listened to many many of your speeches and commentaries, I have come to see you as a true ambassador of CHRIST's love and hope. I know this is not done by your strength and efforts, but your solid commitment to CHRIST, allowing Him through the HOLY SPIRIT to work in and through you. We continue to hold you and your family up daily in prayer to our GOD and Father and our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

One of the greatest blessings I have received from being involved in your 2008 campaign and Huck PAC is the Wonderful friends I have gained during this time. One of them is my very, dear friend, prayer partner and confidant Barbie Miller, of Des Moines Iowa, and San Marco Island Florida. She has been a huge blessing and encouragement to me! Just recently, she gave me a gift of a personally signed (to my husband and I), copy of your book, A Simple Christmas. I have been enjoying reading it and plan to share it with my husband and family.

Governor Huckabee,Janet Huckabee,The Huckabee Family, All Huckabean and WannaBeHuckabean Fans...

We hope you all had "A Very Special Christmas" filled with abundant blessings of good health, love of family and friends, happiness, and fond memories.

Governor Huckabee, I just finished reading your book "A Simple Christmas" and it is the best Christmas book I have ever read:-) It truely touched our lives, and I am so happy that we gave to each of our extended family members your book as a Christmas gift.

As my dear friend Randy Davis recently said, The important issue of Christmas is not so much that Jesus came, but why He came. There was no salvation in His birth. Nor did the sinless way He lived His life have any redemptive force of its own. His example, flawless as it was, could not rescue us from our sins. Even His teaching, the greatest truth ever revealed, could not save us. There was a price to be paid for our sins and someone had to die. Only Jesus could do it.

I am hoping that you will consider being the candidate in 2012. It would be such an honor to vote for you and to have you as my President.
It is time we bring pride back to America by having a President who loves and believes in his country.
Obama doesn't love America and is doing his best to destroy this wonderful land.
May God protect our country and keep it safe until we are able to rid ourselves of the politicians who would do us harm.
God Bless you Governor Huckabee. You are a very good man.

This song was written by a man in a time of darkness. During the civil war, he lost his wife in a fire and his son to a bullet. It was Christmas.....

Casting Crowns: I Heard The Bells On Christmas Day
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-150Y6Hf8ds&feature=PlayList&p=0CCE0F03128B4C62&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=21

I heard the bells on Christmas day
    Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet their songs repeat Of peace on earth good will to men

    And the bells are ringing
    Like a choir they're singing
In my heart I hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men

And in despair I bowed my head
There is no peace on earth I said
For hate is strong and mocks the song Of peace on earth, good will to men

    But the bells are ringing
    Like a choir singing
    Does anybody hear them?
Peace on earth, good will to men

Then rang the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead, nor doth He sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men Then ringing singing on its way

The world revolved from night to day
    A voice, a chime, a chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good will to men

    And the bells they're ringing
    Like a choir they're singing
And with our hearts we'll hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men

Do you hear the bells they're ringing?
    The life the angels singing
Open up your heart and hear them
Peace on earth, good will to men

Peace on earth, Peace on earth
Peace on earth, Good will to men

Governor and Mrs. Huckabee: Have a wonderful, well-deserved rest and time with family this Christmas! We feel like we are celebrating with you, after reading the beautiful book you wrote, A Simple Christmas.

The Christmas stories on Huckabee Report are just great! We still have a wonderful country, in spite of our problems with politics and some of our social indicators.

May God, who sent Jesus Christ to forgive our sins, enter many hearts this holy season. May our prayers become stronger and more effective as we admit our sins and needs for God's help.

May God forgive America, so God can truly bless America fully.

    GRACE, in Kansas, PRAYING

PS Have a Wonderful Christmas and Blessed New Year, all you who come here to comment or read. Thank you for giving to this great cause of electing conservatives, also.

I know there is one that did not meke it home.. He died this last month... He died, but was revived after being dead 10 mins on the battlefield , he lived for awhile in a coma..

May God be with the soldiers, their families and may he be with our country....
