I hate to throw rain on the parade, but Senator Ben Nelson has already been bought. He sold out. It's done. It's over. He got a Landreau kinda deal. Seems like Senators are proud of selling their votes anymore. Despite the bill being unConstitutional, unaffordable and something NONE of the Senators have read or will ever read, they're following Obama like sheep to the slaughter. Elections have consequences! The country as we've known it is over.

Even though it might be a little like chasing the horse after it has bolted out of the barn, nevertheless, I am glad that Governor Huckabee and others are holding a protest rally in Omaha today to protest the sell out by professing pro-life Democrat Senator Ben Nelson on the health care bill.
The radical left--which pretty much describes the Democrat party--is hellbound to ram through their radical health care plan before Christmas. Sorta reminds me of evil King Herod's government program of killing all the infants of Bethlehem
in his perverted efforts to eliminate the Christ child and any challenge to his leadership. Then, unfortunately, we have the "Judas sell out" of "30 pieces of silver" by politicans who are under a lot of pressure from this world system and the wicked and misguided people who are running and ruining our nation. -

Re: What about the State Governors?
Ben Dribus 12/20/2009 12:27 PM) thank you always for sharing your thoughts about various matters. What about your state governor? When I heard of your senator getting money I thought immediately of Governor Jindal being part of the system. Is this true?
Also, good points about the Supreme Court Nowling, Aaron 12/20/2009 10:21 AM. You could add MA and IL to your list of NV, LA, NE Virginia and US Samosa. Call in the politicians and governors of these places to find out what is going on.
Thanks for the insights from Nebraska Huskers 4 Huckabee 12/19/2009 10:36 PM. Can you do anything about your current governor? I thought he would be doing something Mike Huckabee is doing by going to Omaha and having a rally. If he shows up on Sunday then that would be something. Also, good points about the new system.
Many people are aware that the former governor of MA basically worked with Senator Ted Kennedy and Senator John Kerry and let them do what they wished in terms of pushing a liberal agenda in MA which has basically become fellow Harvard graduate President Obama's play book as president. Basically the president is the politician and the policy makers are the MA group.
Whatever one's opinion about the current mess, it was a combination of key state governors and their elected officials to congress that helped create the current situation in our nation and it will be that combination that will allow it to continue. So, should not state governors also be on the list of people to contact to stop this mess?
A nation divided cannot stand. This does not sound like the spirit that helped create our nation.

This is indeed a preview of coming attractions as we look forward to the 2010 elections of the Huck Pac endorsed candidates!!
As all eyes are on Husker's state of Nebraska, I am reminded of the time when we all united in making phone calls to Georgia to urge voters to re-elect Sen. Saxby Chambliss. When I heard him speak a few months ago, I was all the more convinced that the efforts to re-elect him were clearly justified!
I am also convinced as we observe the current polls in the Ohio gubernatorial race as well as those in the Florida Senate race that Huck Pac will have a lot to celebrate just as we did in the
Georgia Senate race. The election of Bob McDonnell (Governor of Virginia) also gives reason for continuing our efforts and support for these 2010 elections! -

I signed the petition but just thought I'd share this article in case Ben Nelson doesn't have a change of heart:
Tangled Webb
Sen. Jim Webb is the quiet man who could land a big blow on Obamacare.By Robert Costa

I believe Nelson was re-elected in 2006, and hence will not be answerable until 2012. He has been one of the more popular senators, and probably figures that as many people from his state will be happy about the $300 million as angry about his reversal.
This shows one of the real flaws of the system, how legislators can be bought off piecemeal. Divide and conquer is the name of the game. The same thing happened with my senator, Mary Landrieu.

I have just completed a New Health Care Plan, which eliminates Fraud and Insurance Overhead. It reduces cost by between 1/3 and 1/2 in healthcare sector of our economy. It's a 2 party system.
Gov. Huckabee needs to read it-right away.
Go to www.paythedoctor.com
This is the answer no one has thought of!!
It is 17 pp. long!
Please read it!

I do not support the health care bill which is currently attempting to ram an agenda down everyones throat just for the sake of a democratic victory. I quuestion whether or not the precedures being used to get this bill passed is constitunational correct. This is very apparent when Vermont, Lousiana, Nebraska, and Nevada, get an advantage in federal taxes, and the distribution of them to pay for these states' medicaid programs. I was under the impression that all people and states were to be treated equally under constituinal law. Also, why is American Somoa exempt from the federal minimum wage law. This is not what I call equal treatment and protection under federal law. I think all of this should be sent to the U.S. Supreme court for a ruling. It seems there is a violation of the bill of rights in this issue.

I've been giving thought lately to our Representative 'process' in the U.S. Perhaps the days should be in our 'rear view mirror' in which after voting someone in to 'represent' us in our Federal Government, that we watch them pack their bags and move to D.C.
With all the technology available, perhaps the need to move to DC no longer exists. They can set up offices right in their DISTRICTS, where they have to face the folks they represent! They can have 'Webinars', and vote electronically. No more lobbists. No more party meetings behind closed doors. Maybe we'll let them all get together in DC a couple of times a year, but that's IT! AND all this should come with Term Limits, for SURE!!
Wouldn't that cut down on some of this corruption and back room deals?? Let's begin to re-think this whole process! They MOVE there because that's the way it's ALWAYS been done. Maybe it's time to CHANGE that!!
And just look at how 'GREEN' that would be? Surely THAT will get the New Washington on board! LOL!!!
What is going on in DC is so wrong!! Let's make them stay home. Now that's a CHANGE I can get behind!! I'm just sayin'.....

THANK YOU, GOV. HUCKABEE
BEN NELSON, YOU JUDAS!Governor Huckabee,
Thank you for taking a leadership role in this last-minute, last-ditch trip to Nebraska to give Ben Nelson every encouragement to change his mind, and NOT vote for cloture, i.e. for the health care abomination bill. I support your efforts tomorrow 100%. I wish I could be there too.
-----------------------Ben Nelson,
You Judas Iscariot!!! That $300 million that Harry Reid bought you off with is not his money; it's the people's money!
To buy your vote, Harry Reid granted Nebraska an eternal exemption from paying its fair share of Medicaid increases, meaning the rest of us have to pick up the tab for benefits that Nebraskans will enjoy but not have to pay for. That's a big middle finger you gave the rest of us Americans, you Judas!
Where is your honor? Where are your principles? Have you no shame?
What's in the bill you are endorsing, Senator? Of course you don't know, because no one knows but Harry Reid, but no matter: you got your $300 million dollars!
What about your oath to uphold and defend the Constition? Or do you and your fellow oligarchs snicker behind closed doors at such an antiquated concept? Well...tell me then: What article and section of the Constition do you point to for authorization of these brazen mandates and for these usurpations of rights and powers that the Tenth Amendment tells us are reserved for the states or for their people?
What about your "line in the sand?" What about the millions of innocent unborn children who will be butchered with our tax dollars that will find their way nevertheless into the coffers of the abortion mills?
That $300 million dollars is fleeting, but the federal usurpation of our liberties and one-sixth of the U.S. economy, and the crushing price that posterity must pay, are FOREVER!
For your treachery, I hope your conscience - if you have one - torments your soul and eats into your bowels as caustic until you repent and hurl those three hundred million pieces of silver - that blood money - onto the Senate floor BEFORE your cloture vote is required of you.
Hardly anyone wants this "health care" bill anymore. Neither the Right nor the Left nor everyday Americans. Yet you and other lackey Senators continue to entertain and facilitate the tyrannical obsessions of Harry Reid and President Obama.
If this bill becomes law, there will be a political upheaval the likes of which have not been seen in America in 150 years. Those patriots who still believe in Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness will throw all you bums out of Washington - not only you and your Democratic gang, but also the panty-waist phony-conservative Republicans who enabled this debacle.
Let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!
Amen.

Go MIKE! YOU tell him! I have called his offices. I have faxed his offices. It's not JUST about not paying for abortions, it's the overall unsustainability of the spending going on in Washington!!
Nelson got BIG BUCKS for Nebraska for holding out. Millions for Medicaid. Gosh. Medicaid funds abortions in Nebraska, as it does in 31 other states AND the District of Columbia. We, the People have been forced to pay for abortions for years. You DID know that, right?? Now all of YOU get to pay for all of the Medicaid abortions in YOUR state, PLUS you get to help pay for Nebraska's. Aren't you just tickled about it all?
