    To Paul and SSC:
    Eloquent words and I know that Mike is grieving at the loss of the four protectors of our freedoms.

    It is a heavy burden for him, because of his devotion to our law enforcement and our military. But I would admonish him to stay the course. Evil will always be here until this earth is replaced with a new one.

    Now is not the time to second guess your journey, Mike. Let God give you peace. And you know He will.

    This I know, Mike Huckabee would not have let our sons and daughters linger in a dangerous situation in a far off land without backup for several months while he pondered the right political move and many more died. And he would not have bankrupt our nation with the signing off on our children's future, thus endangering all of us.

    God bless these four protectors and their families. My heart goes out to their loved ones.

    This is truly a time for the families of these four officers to be lifted in prayer. I am also praying that the heavy burden that is on Mike's heart be understood by those who have taken to political sniping. Amidst a tragedy of this magnitude, let us pray for God's grace in all directions.

    Because none of us, nor any man-made process of government is perfect.

    I appreciate what Mike said tonight during the interview with his spirit of humility, contriteness and deep compassion for the families of the slain police officers. I know Mike is a man who values life and while governor for over ten years he had to enforce the death penalty for many and also gave second chances to some when facts and circumstance justified it. This role of being a modern day "Solomon" is one that most of our politicians and political pundits have never had to play. Those who have been so quick to blame and judge Mike need to consider all the facts and ramifications. I pray the murderer is found quickly and arrested without any more lives being taken and he pays the ultimate price for his horrible crimes.
