Yesterday, various news organizations reported that the Republican National Committee, since 1991, has offered employees an insurance plan that covers abortion. I think we need to commend Michael Steele for his quick and decisive corrective action on this. I am appalled that it was ever covered and it shouldn't have been, but Michael didn't create the problem, he inherited it without realizing it, but when brought to his attention, he did the right thing.

Michael Steele's quick no nonsense response was the right course of action. His decisiveness will save him and the party a lot of trouble. Still, it amazes me that previous republicans made such a ridiculous blunder concerning abortion; it never should have even existed.
Governor Huckabee I missed your book meeting in Charlotte, NC. Could not make it due to work. Much of the Charlotte area is becoming more and more democrat, so I hope you had a good turn out.
