Call Your Representative Now

The House of Representatives at this very minute is debating the Stupak-Pitts amendment, which is the only amendment that is being offered to explicitly exclude funding for abortion in the Democrat's health care bill.

This is going to be a close vote.  Call your Representative.  Tell them to vote Y on the Stupak-Pitts Amendment.

Remember to tell them the  Pitts-Stupak Amendment is the only amendment that provides clear language that prohibits federal funding of elective abortions and plans that cover elective abortion.

Call your Representatives now.

Thank you

Note:  The House Switchboard number is (202) 224-3121

We have 1 house member and 2 senators that emailed me back that they were supporting the public and the government option. They are all democrats and need to be voted out also. I emailed them 3-4 times a week--each time --same story back

The next presidential election. Please make sure that you do not quit and allow others to take the lead. In the past Gerald Ford, Bob Dole, John Mc Cain all good people but they did not have the intestional fortitude to stand up all the way when they should have. And we all thought that Carter was bad.

Sheila, there is nothing we can do to get them to listen to us. If they were going to "represent" us, they would have done so by now. We can't change their minds, so we much change Congress. They need to be replaced. Every seat in the house is available in Nov. 2010. They do not own those seats. It was never intended that a representative go to congress as a young man and die there as an old one. Get involved locally and pick a new candidate for your district.

    Gov. Huckabee,

I love you bunches, Brother, but I have to disagree on this one. Everyone in D.C. knew the Stupak-Pitts amendment was for show and nothing else. It will be stripped either in the senate or conference. It was a path to clear the way for the Blue Dogs to be able to vote for the health care bill. They bamboozled us. Had we voted it down, then the Blue Dogs would have been against the wall, and not us. We probably could have defeated the bill. In my opinion, the Stupak amendment was a "go along to get along" vote.

I am very thankful that the American people are rising up against the gradual encroachment of tyranny that our elected officials espouse and intend to impose upon us. It's important that we continue to keep ourselves stirred up until we have dethroned every one of the scalawags.

I have been contacting my Sen. and Rep. for quite some time about healthcare bill. From what I've read, moveon.org is bullying Sen. Bayh to vote for Senate bill now. I called Bayh and now, have to leave a message, which I did...told him not to cave in to this radical org. He was against bill, hope he still is. Lugar's office said he would vote against both house and senate bills.

So good to hear we have good people in congress, and preparing to run for office.

Congresspeople need to be aware that if they vote for this government intrusion into our lives, all their opponents will need to do in the next election is to REMIND the voters how their elected representatives voted.

Of course, for those who listen to their constituents and vote no, all it will take is for them to remind voters they put their constituents' welfare and desires before party affiliation.

Checkout was slow in the grocery store this morning, as everyone in line was taking time to vent their anger at yesterday's House vote passing "the bill". Nobody was saying anything about the pro-life amendment, because abortion is looked upon as an issue with two sides. Everyone apparently felt comfortable sharing their anger about the healthcare bill because NOBODY WANTS IT.

Many senators are afraid to back Pres. Obama's health care plan, because they see the handwriting on the wall -- they'll lost their jobs in 2010 and 2012. Keep the pressure on!

The HealthCare Bill is a Fraud Pyramid Scheme Scam to Quadruple Tax us, raise our Health Care and Insurance Costs, and impose Muslim Kenyan United Nations rules on our families.

    Just Say "Hell No!"

    Huckabee/Palin 2012!

What can we do to get the House and The Senate to listen to us. I have written more than once but they vote the way they want. Since they have passed this crazy bill in the house what should we do now? Where is your list of House and Senate reps locted on your web site?
I cannot wait until election day. Sometimes I think the American public has their head in the sand. Are there that many dumb people?

We have our work cut out for us now. There will be nothing to prevent abortion to be put back into this bill. We've got to get this bill stopped at the Senate.

    Captain Obvious--

Your post reminded me to count my blessings also as I have a pro-life Representative, Nathan Deal. He will be running for Gov. in 2010, and another strong pro-life candidate will be running for his position.

Many of our Huck Pac friends on Facebook enjoyed watching this video of Tom Graves when he spoke at the Atlanta Tea Party on Nov. 2--"One Year until Judgment Day." Hope you guys enjoy it as well!

God bless the 64 Democrats that voted for the Stupak amendment. I am very encouraged by this as I see it as a positive sign for pro-lifers!!!!!!!!

I was trying to call to ask my House Rep., Daryll Issa to vote yes on the Stupak-Pits amendment - the only one that would make it clear that abortion is not covered in the health plan but, there is no answer.

Today Rev. Billy Graham is celebrating his 91st year on this earth and recently noted his 75th year as a believer in Jesus Christ. I pay tribute to this remarkable Christian who once had the ear of every president since Eisenhower. Too bad he does not have the ear of our current president to offer biblical wisdom and humility. May God have mercy on this nation.

I am thanking God right now to for Congressman Mark Souder and his pro-life stance. I did try to call him to offer him my thanks and support, but his office is closed and their voicemail is full - if you can believe that! That is a good sign that the Capitol Hill phones are ringing off the hook. Keep calling!

This post reminded me to count among many blessings the fact that our representative is Sam Graves. So I e-mailed him to thank him for his unwavering pro-life stand.
