The vote was almost entirely along Party lines with only Republican Senator Olympia Snowe voting with the Democrats on the committee.
Because the Democrats in Congress are joined at the hip with pro-abortion groups, does anyone really think that Barbara Boxer or John Kerry will lift a finger in the Senate to make sure this critical language is renewed each year? Can we count on Speaker Nancy Pelosi? Will President Obama stand up for the unborn each year?
We cannot count on them and sadly they will not fight for this renewal.
This vote drives home the point that pro-Life Republicans need to regain the Majority in Congress. This is why I am asking you to help me send a message to the pro-abortion Democrats and Republicans in the Senate.
Will 500 Republicans join the new Pro-Life Team Huck PAC is forming today to help us raise the resources we need to elect new Pro-Life Republicans to the Senate?
If you are financially able to do so I urge you make a contribution of $11 or more by Saturday at midnight. That is one dollar for every seat Republicans need to regain control of the Senate.
Let me also be clear about something, not one penny will go towards helping pro-choice Republicans like Olympia Snowe. Huck PAC stands firmly for the sanctity of Life and we will not support any candidate that votes against Life. Not in the Senate, not in the House not anywhere. It is a founding principle of our PAC and it is something that is inviolate.
I hope you will join us.
Your donation is the start of our nationwide effort to build a team of pro-Life voters. With your donation, you will have the option to have your name listed as a Founding Member of our new team on our website.
If you wish to make a donation but don’t want your name listed you may do so here.
If you wish to make a donation and you do want your name listed as a Founding Member please make a donation here.
The time for action is now. We must not sit on the sidelines and let the Democrat controlled Congress and President Obama trample on the rights of the unborn. Doing so is just an invitation for greater catastrophe.

Your programs are excellent. Thank you for letting us know about the Manhattan Declaration. How can we be a part of this? We watch you each weekend and think you'd make a GREAT President so stay with us as President Reagan did. We need some Signers of the Declaration in Congress BADLY. Thanks for Chuck Colson on your program. Loveyou.Mary

Pro choice makes me ill, what choice does the child have? The least these selfish females could do is use birth control! Or give their "mistake" up for adoption and make some parents very happy and fulfilled. But no, they are too self absorbed to do something that loving and giving of themselves. But we know all this, time to stop them.

I'd love to make a donation, can't do it today, flat broke, but I'll be glad to make a donation next Fri when I get my disability check from the VA. Sorry I can't help right now. I am pro-life, been arrested four time in San Antonio protesting at abortion clinics before they made it a federal felony. I firmly believe that absolutely NO ONE other than God Himself has the right to take ANY human life.

Roe v Wade THE WORST Supreme Court decision EVER!
Abortion is now just a word and a deed, not a child at all.... -

I'm in!
OBVIOUSLY, those of us who once were only a few cells in stature want to protect other people at that stage of development.
And, setting aside basic morality and compassion, obviously when considering medical procedures which are completely elective, neither face lifts nor tummy tucks nor liposuction--nor killing a child resulting from the parents choices--should come out of the taxpayers' pockets. Even if it were not MURDER, it would be wrong to use tax dollars to pay for elective abortion.

I was glad to find out I was pregnant many years ago and delivered four healthy children. All of them were wanted.
I just wish that all the children of the world were wanted. It breaks my heart that we are still allowing late term abortions. These mothers could deliver healthy babies that would be adopted instantly by people who would love them.
Then, the birth mothers could go on with their lives knowing that they had done a good thing. -

Excellent.
The more the voting public finds out about these kinds of sneaky legislative manuevers by the democrats -- all done to please the pro-abortion lobby -- then the easier it will be to elect pro-life Republicans to replace those pro-abortion Democrats.

I agree with you Gov. Huckabee and I also think prayer could change some of the die hard Democrat political leader's hearts as well though it seems they won't be swayed. I once was a practical nurse straight out of nurses' training and was led to believe abortion was a merciful thing to do, so in essence, I was brainwashed or deceived but yet a Christian. I think someone must have been praying I'd see that what medicine was calling a good choice, God was calling murder. Thankfully, I did over a period of a few years. I saw that we have no right to take the life of a human being, but should leave it up to our Divine Creator.
