Dear Mike, My concern is that divided we will not win the election. Sarah, yourself, and independents and republicans votes being divided will 0 out our republican win. Please help us get Pelosi and her henchmen out and put folks in that have had hard times and honor our love for Jesus and freedom. Long live the brave and fearless America.

Please consider running in 2012. We need your leadership in the WH! It's my beliefe that God has raised you up "for such a time as this".

Great e-mail to Sean Hannity! I have been planning on contacting Hannity and Fox News all week long. Their lack of reporting Gov. Huckabee's win at the Value Voters Summit; in addition, to their constant ignoring of him as one of the highest polling presidential candidates in 2012 is inexcusable!!!

I hope that Hannity and Fox are being bombarded with complaints.

Glenn Beck's false labeling of Mike Huckabee, as "A Big Government" politician also needs to be challenged!

    Governor Huckabee...

Your speach at the Value Voters Summit was excellent. A+++++ You hit the ball out of the ball park:-)

Congratulations on winning the poll at the Value Voters Summit. You won by a landslide:-)

You are a true statesman, leader and visionary. Looking forward to celebrating you as President of this great country in 2012:-)

Do you remember all the times that Mike was on the other shows, Saun, Glenn's, etc. where he said that he had just signed a new contract with FOX news and was happy where he was.
Like you, I hope he changes his mind and does run for President but maybe that's why the guys don't mention him to much in the polls. They might be taking Mike at his word that he won't be running in the next election.

Mr. Huckabee we need u to run in 2012. in my opinion you are the best candidate to run against the current administration that we have. we need someone with common sense to be in the White House and lead this country back to where we once was. I have got alot of people listen to what you have to say and they are saying you have their vote after hearing what you have to say in the media and on your tv show. many are saying if they had knew more about you during the election they would have voted for u then but know you have gotten your name out there more and people are paying attention to you more than ever. I hope you decide to run and bring America back to greatness. Thanks

We all want and hope you will run for president in 2012. The GOP needs a leader, people appear to be waking up more recently, but it really seems no one has the helm. Our support is with you and from my vantage point your supporters are among the most loyal and sincere of any candidate I've ever seen. Go

    Hannity@foxnews.com

Let Sean Hannity and Fox News know what you think of their continued "attitude" toward Governor Huckabee. Here's my 2 cents worth.

    Sean,

We have been some of your biggest fans for years but we are baffled at your continued attitude toward Mike Huckabee. What the heck is going on ? This nation has never had a conservative candidate even approaching the qualities of Mike Huckabee, including Ronald Reagan.

Whenever the panel discusses the GOP potential contenders for 2012 it's as if Mike does not exist. If this had just happened once or twice it could be overlooked, but this has happened over and over and over again.

I even get lots of e-mails from conservatives around the country asking me about this, and to be honest, I don't have a very good answer. I would like to have a reasonable answer to help you from losing viewers. I would like to be on "your side" but this has become so obvious it's puzzling to say the least.

I know Mike's record frontward and backwards and am a personal friend, so don't give me the song and dance about he is a "big government" type. We both know that is not true. (Plus, you would sound like Glenn Beck)

The grassroots are not stupid, they know Governor Huckabee and his record. It's nothing short of amazing what he was able to do as a conservative in Arkansas, totally surrounded by Democrats. Here in Iowa, we know all too well about the character of Mitt Romney. He certainly has the right to run, as do any and all other candidates. But- comparing Mike Huckabee to Mitt Romney would be like comparing Thomas Jefferson to George Jefferson.

Your panel tonight reminded me of a group of sportscasters discussing the history of the Chicago Bulls but leaving Michael Jordan out of the conversation. Again, if this just happened once, or you were short on time, it might be understandable. But this has not happened once, it happens ALL the time.

Some are starting to refer to you as FNC's version of Keith Olberman, and I hate to see that happen.

    Please advise,

    Randy Davis

    Juliee and Retta,

I sadly concur. Just about everyone on all the news networks has a favorite candidate.

My solution is just to watch actual newscasts on FOX and C-Span. If the show has a name attached to it, the host has an agenda. Whenever I can watch Huckabee, though, I do. From all I can see, Governor Huckabee's agenda is about "Doing the Right Thing" for America rather than trying to put himself into office.

Whatever happens in 2012, I believe Governor Huckabee has a very important role to play.

Julie4Huckabee, I could not agree with you more about Fox News!!!! What is wrong with them?? I noticed right off the bat that they were not reporting much about Mike Huckabee winning the VVS Straw Poll. What a shame, they should be proud. My family and I couldn't be happier that he won. Wake up Fox News because a lot of people have opened their eyes about the news media. We do have enough brains to determine whether you truly are FAIR AND BALANCED or not.

Fox News seems very quiet on Gov. Huckabee win at the Value Voters Summit??!

Last night Hannity had a promo at the beginning of his program showing Romney speaking at the VV Summit. He said he was going to be discussing the Summit during his show. About half way through, they showed very short clips of Pawlenty, Huckabee, and Romney giving their speeches. He made no mention of Huckabee winning! All he said was something like, "2012 was still a long way off, but let the races begin"!

On Friday, Brett Baier had a segment on the Summit showing and highlighting the various speakers. Not one mention of Gov. Huckabee even speaking.

I have heard more on CNN and MSNBC about him winning, than I have on Fox News. He brings millions of viewers to their network, and they can barely acknowledge his win!

Fair and Balanced??? More like, lets try to hide Mike Huckabee's light under a bushel once again; and perhaps viewers won't notice their Oh, So obvious attempts of pushing "their guy Romney" to the top of the Presidential List!

Yes, I want you to run for president once again and win! I truly believe this nation needs you at the office of president(with Sarah Palin as VP). We need a Christian leading this nation and what better person than you? You are a very likeable and genuine person not to mention a great speaker. Please run again for the sake of every American! God Bless You Mike Huckabee!

I pray that you will run again in 2012(hopefully with Sarah Palin as your running mate). I am so glad you are on Fox News with your own show because it is giving you more exposure to Americans. People can see how genuine you are and your Christian views. I truly believe that if you run, you will win! Please run for president so I can feel excited when I cast my vote on election day. I was disappointed that I couldn't cast a ballot for you(no offense to McCain). God Bless You Mike Huckabee!!

    Dear Governor Huckabee,
Yes, you are dear to us who have loved and supported you over the past couple of years. And you are becoming loved by many new supporters, as these comments show. I, too, have noted that many more of my friends now recognize what a mistake they made in not knowing you or voting for you in the Presidential primaries.

Also, when I can, I speak for the Fair Tax and how we need to get rid of government's strangle-hold on the people through over-taxation. This is the only economic policy I can see that would release the hold of the federal government and give us back our freedoms.

Many people tell me they are extremely worried that we will go bankrupt and have no freedom or no nation left. Thanks for pointing out the need for tax reform, holding the line on spending such as TARP and socialized health care.

I cannot see any other candidate on the landscape for President who can do the job that you can, Gov. Huckabee. Please pray and consider the great good you could do. You would be a uniter, and you seem really to care about the people. You love the country and stand for the principles it was based upon.

You have said that the government is to serve at the behest of the people, and not the people to serve the government. I wish our current President could learn this principle. I pray he will, too.

    GRACE, in Kansas, PRAYING

My prayer: God, forgive and cleanse America, so you can bless her again.

Gov. Huckabee I was thrilled that you won by such a large % from the others that the media & GOP elite want us to think will win...

I wish you had a twin , with your integrity, morals and common sense living in Texas.. And, would run for Gov. of Texas.. They are not giving us much of a choice...

Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, or Gov. Perry.. If I voted for values by who is pro choice , or pro life... I would have to vote for Gov. Perry..
But, I promised my self I would never vote for him again when he asked you to drop out of the Presidential race, before Texans could vote.. I was not very impressed with him anyways....

Thankfully you didn't drop out ... Hope you enter the 2012 race and I believe if you do, you will win...

The big issues for Value Voters are abortion and marriage and freedom of religious expression.

The only way to protect marriage is to pass The Federal Marriage Amendment. The only way to do that is to win the support of moderate democrats, especially in the South, Midwest and Mountain West. This should be made a big issue in the 2010 congressional elections.

There is a realistic chance of passing The Federal Marriage amendment -- since the majority of American voters are in favor of preserving traditional marriage.

There is *no* realistic chance to pass an amendment banning abortion. The best way to fight abortion is in the courts, and that means appointing justices to the Supreme Court who will overturn Roe vs Wade.

The courts are also the best way to fight for freedom of religious expression.

Would it help your decision Gov. Huckabee if you knew God's Hand was with you? Here is an anecdote that may answer that question. About a week or so ago I began to ask God to show me if His hand was with you (I've been praying for you for nearly two years now and in that time I've had periodic crises of faith and assignment - this was one of those times). I was at a place of wondering if you would run again, I was wondering how someone like you (an unashamed Christian, non-elite Republican, uncorrupted politician with enemies within) could ever make a successful bid for the White House if God's Hand wasn't with you. I knew if God wasn't in it we could forget about seeing you lead this great nation as the 45th POTUS. Frankly Gov. Huckabee, I was even beginning to wonder if I was wasting my time praying for you (sorry). So I asked the LORD to give me a sign, a big sign, and I asked if He would "do something" for you Gov. Huckabee, a really big something, and I asked if he would do it soon! I needed to know if I was missing the will of God for my prayer time. I swear to God this prayer was before I was aware of the Values Voter Summit, or any straw poll following it! I confess I had little faith for the answer to the prayer for the "sign", after all, could God do something so big so quickly - I mean, I know He's God but how many times have I asked big things and had to wait a long time for an answer - or receive no answer at all? After I watched your incredible speech at the Value Voters Summit, and saw that you won the straw poll so convincingly, I knew immediately that this event was the sign I had asked for! I believe beyond a shadow of a doubt, that if you run again in 2012, God's Hand will be with you! Your straw poll win is bigger that you know! Can you cite an incident of defeat in the Bible (notwithstanding the presence of faith and obedience) when God says his Hand is with you? Neither can I. Congratulations on the win Gov. Huckabee, what a great sign (my faith is on the moon)!

Congratulations Mike! My wife and I were honored to be two of those who cast a vote for you at the Values Voters Summit. Loved the point in your speech about David needing to standup to Saul and say "I don't want your armor"- his trust was in the Lord. too many politicians put on the armor of political correctness thinking they will be protected when really it makes them clumsy losers. Thanks for your trust- get the sling shot ready! Mike Huckabee 2012! The bumper sticker is already on my car!

  • Bue, Harley

    09/21/2009 12:33 AM

    Mike,
Your speeches are always inspiring and insightful, and thanks for using Biblical illustrations.

I also heard Mike Pence did well at the FRC. Does anyone have a link to that? I saw Mike Pence with Jay Sekulow on ACLJ and was quite impressed. He appears to be getting more visibility.

I read Mike Pence life profile on Wikipedia and he makes the statement that he is a Christian, a conservative, and a Republican in that order.

Interesting duo may be arising for the GOP; Mike Huckabee [P] and Mike Pence [VP]. Both may be standard bearer for conservatives in 3 primary areas; character, ideology, and ability to be centrist/pragmatic in reconciling within political extremes.

    Are we observing a restoration of statesmen versus politicians? I read a summary on statesman qualities;
    a. above partisan politics
    b. considers all demagraphics
    c. persuasive in convictions
    d. organically unites people
    d. firm with civility
    e. legacy often in history books

Mr. Huckabee, I am always amazed when I listen to you speak. You put into words what so many of us feel but don't quite know how to say without using foul language. You hit the nail on the head time after time. We, the citizens of these United States of America, NEED you to continue the work that the Lord has called you to do. Your words speak truth and wisdom, not just empty words. I believe that so many of the citizens that voted in the last election are now seeing more clearly that what they were seeking doesn't exist, without bankrupting every "working class" american and that we do need "change", but not the one they voted for. I wish I could do more to support you in your efforts, but the most I can do for now is PRAY. WE NEED YOU! Your supporter and friend, Mike

I think you're right. It is too early to make a decision about running again in 2012. Right now, we need to focus on the 2010 elections and put some good people in Congress who will start repairing the damage that has been done. Hopefully, that will be the result of the 2010 elections and then you will run again - and win - so you can help the new, improved Congress finish the job!

Also, I don't think you have to start the 2012 campaign as early as you did the 2008 campaign because a lot more people know you now and are just waiting and hoping for you to announce your candidacy. Remember in 2008, when people were waiting for Newt Gingrich to make a decision about running? If he had joined the race, even months after other candidates had started their campaigns, he would've probably become the frontrunner as soon as he announced. That will be you in 2012! There are so many people who want you to run again; and you will have much more support in 2012 because more people know you now. Look at all the new people on this site -- people who didn't even know you in 2008 and now are begging you to run in 2012! And I have personally heard from quite a few people who either wished they had voted for you in 2008, or who have gotten to know you just recently and hope for the chance to vote for you in 2012. So, you have a lot of support out here; and you winning the straw poll by such a wide margin shows how many people think you are the best candidate.

So, I am anxiously awaiting your announcement, and hoping that you will decide to run again in 2012. If so, you know you can count on me and Brian to help you win Georgia again!

This is for the HuckPACkers: We all know that Mike Huckabee is our best bet for a revitalized America, but there are millions of people who don't give a hoot about politics, and who will vote for whose ever name they see most often on TV. What I am saying is that Mike Huckabee is going to need a ton of money if he is to run again, and it's got to be about 100 times what us HuckPACkers can do for him. Pray that some billionaires and millionaries decide it is time to put America back together again, and that Mike is just the one to do it. Then we will have a fighting chance. I believe in miracles, too, but I also believe in the math.

Congratulations Governor Huckabee on an amazing speech and your win!

Michael Reagan was just in Iowa telling us that pro-lifers need to embrace the big tent and vote for pro-choice candidates in order to advance the Republican party. He noted that there are other important topics also such as jobs, etc... When asked how many jobs is a baby worth, he could not answer. Haley Barbour was also in our state recently telling us the same thing; that we weren't sacrificing our principles by sacrificing our principles.

Thank you for standing for ALL conservative ideals and not caving towards the mushy middle. The mushy middle is why we have lost.

It is definitely time to say "no thanks" to our party and grab our sling shots to fight for what is right.

Clearly you would make a fantastic Constitution supporting President and America would be lucky to have you in the White House. Personally, I can't bear the thought of a good man like you having to run against the master of dirty Chicago politics. With the spotlight on ACORN Obama will have to enlist the help of another subsidiary to manfacture new voters for himself if he is unsuccessful in legalizing all the illegal aliens who he expects will be turned into Obama supporting Democrats. You have the strength and courage to save America and our freedom. I am counting on Divine Intervention to make the decision. Either way, Thank you!

I know that it is a huge decision on whether to run or not and one that must not be taken lightly. There are so many things for you to consider. However, that being said I would say that you are what this Country needs right now. We are falling farther away from what this Country was really meant to be and what it has the potential to be. It is disheartning to me and thousands, even millions of us to see and watch every day. We need you Gov. Huckabee to get the USA back to what it should be. Back to it's values and morals, to where we finally feel once again that we can trust our government. We are all crying and screaming for help, for someone to listen to us. I believe as a Christian woman that this country needs a Godly man such as yourself to run this country and fix the mess that we find ourselves in. I pray that you would consider it. As the poll showed, you are wanted and needed greatly. God bless you Gov. Huckabee. My prayers are with you.

MIKE - If you had not won, I would not have much respect for the Values Voters' delegates. Great speech at the conference and you are the leader all Americans need, not just evangelicals! Please keep an open mind about running again in 2012 and would you also consider Rep. Mike Pence as your running mate.
