The time has come for every one to prepare for the coming economic collapse. The people in power now are Radicals,Marxist and communist. their goal is to collapse capitalism. How do you do that? BANKRUPT IT. That is why they are not listening to the people. they don't care about the people. Now that they are in power they will do any thing, at any cost to stay in power. Don't believe me--READ the history of Communism.

    How about passing the following as the next amendment to our constitution;

“The United States Congress shall pass no laws or approve no appropriations that will exceed estimated annual revenues. All budget deficits from the previous fiscal year plus two percent of any existing national debt shall be included as an expense in the following fiscal years budget. During times of war, deficit spending is authorized only to the extent that the defense budget is increased above the amount budgeted at the time war was officially declared by congress. Only this deficit amount may be added to the national debt.”

I work very hard for my money and I expect congress to work even harder before they spend a nickel of taxpayer money and when congresspeople and sentors lineup for the national healthcare they're pushing at us and forgo their fat retirement for social security, just maybe they will gain an ounce of creditability.

  • Guzman, Roberto

    10/03/2009 05:21 PM

Let all public officials be included in contributing into the Social Security System and their retirement be funded by the system just like all Americans'.

We need to push our legislators to vote for Tort Reform - look at Texas. Governor Perry says their state has a Budget Surplus (“Rainy Day Fund”) of $8.9 Billion! They legislated Tort Reform, forced budget reductions (cuts-in their entire budget), then "got out of the way and let private business work/do its thing”. Why aren’t we hearing more about this? Lawyers do not want Tort Reform! Tort Reform alone would be a huge fix. Then, add budget cuts, fraud protection/discovery and then get government out of the way to let capitalism work! Looks like we need to get the Lawyers and Government out of the way!

    Tough Love for America

    A lucid dream to reverse the national nightmare . . . . .
What if we just follow the following initiative:
    1. Hire 20 very smart, sharp, moral and strong minded people to coordinate this program.
    2. Determine how much $$$ we spend each year and categorize where we spend it.
    3. Determine how much $$$ is taken in via tax revenues etc.
    4. Multiply total Revenue by 90 % and this # is what the government has to spend . . . the other 10 % is what gets paid on the national debt pay down.
    5. The next expenditure is interest paid on national debt $$$ owed.
    6. Make a list in order of priority where the rest of our nations $$$ should be spent . . .
    - Social Security / Medicare / and like expenditures
    - Armed Services
    - National Infrastructure Projects and other expenditures that could benefit all Americans
    - All other Government Services
    - $$$ spent outside our country
    7. Break the news to the people of America and of the world . . . “ We are only spending
what is in America’s cookie jar . . . if there’s $$$ left over after we pay our bills we’ll help others out . . . if not we’re not going to borrow from other countries so we can help other countries - sorry “.
This would essentially mean our congressional group would no longer be carrying the great American Credit Card that doesn’t have an upper limit. It could mean there could be fewer wars to be fought . . . less people in our country that don’t belong here . . . the American Dollar could get stronger . . . government could be much smaller. . . a renewed hope could be realized that social security / medicare / retirement funds and other hard earned benefits would most likely be there when we arrive . . . . and an overwhelming threat to our children’s financial future could fade away.
    Whoa . . . . there’s my alarm . . . it’s time to go to work. . . . . Dream on !!!

    President Obama,

I am pleading with you to take the time to picture yourself as a senior citizen with a low fixed income, and rely totally on Medicare for their health care insurance. Really really really mentaly put yourself in our shoes and think about all the changes you want to make with Medicare. Would you like to be in a position where you or your family will be forced into having billions of dollars taken from Medicare.......This is going to have a tramatic results on senior citizens. Why do you believe that we senior citizens are not worth being able to chose, along with our doctor what tests, services we can have done. Think about your daughters when they become senior citizens and have a fixed low income. Are you willing to let this happen to them????? I doubt that you would want your daughters not to be able to get the health care they would need. How can you put seniors in a position that I am sure that you would not want for your family. PLEASE....PLEASE.....PLEASE reconsider your drastic health care changes for seniors!!!!!!!!

As the beginning of the BALANCE CUT SAVE petition states, the Constitution begins with the statement "We the People". It's a non-partisan declaration, but I believe that Republicans and especially those that seek to represent us in positions of leadership need to get back to emphasizing that message.

Here's how I think HuckPAC and all Conservatives can lead more effectively. I believe there are several fundamental American principles that we should be emphasizing in everything we say and do. No matter what the subject, these principles should be like constant talking points, reminders, and guideposts.

    * Respect the intrinsic VALUE OF INDIVIDUALS
    * Respect the fundamental RIGHTS OF INDIVIDUALS as spelled out in the Declaration of Independence, Constitution & Bill of Rights.
    * Realize that Government governs best when it governs least.

These should be starting principles for nearly every proposed piece of legislation - they should be the "All American" litmus test for consideration of any Gov't policy or solution.

Just ask yourself if this bill, this policy, this plan respects the intrinsic value and rights of individuals? Does it give more power, freedom or responsibility to the people or to the State? Common sense arguments for and against (whatever the issue may be) can then be made accordingly.

This is a great way to simplify most issues, and emphasize a distinctly "American" perspective on them - while at the same time opposing the more un-American collective, socialist view that promotes bigger gov't, and tends to devalue life, liberty and individual rights of the people.

I just want to remind people that they can leverage their $15 donation by clicking the link(s) to send this announcement to a friend, or to share on Facebook. This is a simple way to lead in your own small way, to share information, and to influence your friends and family. Whenever there is something on the blog that you like or think is important share it!

If enough people do this, then the traffic to the HuckPAC website will increase significantly, and the petition and the bumper stickers will be more likely to go viral.

I wish I could make a financial contribution, but at this time it's not an option.

However....I have found other ways to "contribute" to Mike Huckabee!

Check out this Letter to the Editor, published in WORLD Magazine in June:

    http://www.worldmag.com/articles/15487

WORLD Magazine featured Gov. Huckabee on the cover for their May 9 issue, and I wrote to thank them.

A friend of mine who lives in AFRICA saw this!
