Ms. Freedman wrote about the start of her trip at Newark International Airport "I arrived at Newark Airport late Saturday night, August 15, and waited at the gate to board my El Al midnight flight to Israel. An unassuming man walked into the area all alone. There was no entourage, no guards, no secretaries, and no press. When I looked again, I realized it was Mike Huckabee. I approached him, introduced myself, and told him I was part of the group with which he would be traveling. He was as gracious as could be, agreed to take some books and materials that I had for him, and posed for a photo with me. From that time on, he greeted me as Helen whenever we met. He had that same warm quality with everyone in the group, remembering each one's name and greeting each one with a smile. This calm, affable, genuine quality about him continued throughout our three-day trip in Israel, despite the constant pressure of the media surrounding him, pushing their way forward, shouting out questions, and following him everywhere."
Ms. Freedman has some specific recollections of her trip with Governor Huckabee, as she notes "When asked about the "occupation," Mike Huckabee responded brilliantly. He described Israel's government as one of "accommodation, not occupation." He spoke about Israel's efforts to bring all types of services to the Arab communities such as schools, infra-structure development, hospitals, and welfare payments."

I have never wanted something so badly in my life as I want to join Huck on this trip! I became a Christian twenty years ago this October, the same year that he became president of the Arkansas State Baptist convention, and was a proud constituent of his until his term as governor ended. Since then, it has been my dream to visit Israel. I even named my local rock band back home in Arkansas "Masada." My wife and I have planned trips to the Holy Land, but were never able to follow through on them, primarily due to financial reasons. It now seems to me that I was never able to go because this upcoming trip is the one that I am supposed to be on.
Since the nature of this trip is to learn about the governmental structure of Israel, this trip is perfect for me, as it is directly related to the direction I am taking in life. The fact that I would be accompanying my inspiration for taking that direction is icing on the cake. Through all of the successes of a poor Arkansas boy who went on to be, in my opinion, the greatest governor in the state's history, I have been inspired to follow in his footsteps. It is my hope to one day have at least a fraction of the positive impact on Arkansas as Gov. Huckabee had. Over the last few months, my wife and I have answered God's call to continue our educations at Liberty University in Lynchburg Virginia, the same university that is associated with the Liberty Counsel. While leaving my beloved Arkansas (albeit temporarily) has been the hardest decision I have ever had to make, I can already see God's blessings pouring in. I believe the offer of this trip is one of those blessings. Michelle, my wife is in the seminary studying apologetics while I am a student of the Jesse Helms School of Government. I am planning on continuing on to Liberty's law school after I finish my undergrad work. The fact that Mr. Staver from the Liberty Counsel will be joing this trip is another reason that I feel I must not allow myself to miss it, as it would be an invaluable networking opportunity. I realize the company that the tour is booked through is located in Lynchburg also. I spent my whole life in Arkansas and moved nearly a thousand miles away and ended up right down the street from the company that will provide my dream to me. I do not believe in coincidences of this scale.
If anyone reading this post would be able to give me any advice, return to me a website or email address or something of that nature of someone who would have some ideas on how I could raise some funds for this trip, I would be greatly indebted. We are two students with two children, 15 hours away from our nearest family, so obviously we don't just have four thousand dollars tucked away in the sock drawer. Would it be appropriate to ask our church back home in Arkansas for help? As soon as I feel that this trip is at all feasible, I will personally go to DuCar's offices and pay them the deposit.
Thank you Governor and thank God for this amazing opportunity. Christ willing, I will not let anything hold me back from making this trip, as it seems to be a once-in-a-life-time opportunity. I hope I don't have to resort to sneaking into someone's luggage...

Hello to whoever is reading this.. I would have voted for Gov. Mike had he made it that far but I guess it wasnt meant to be.. In other words thats not what God had planned for his life.. I am glad that he is doing ok and doing something good in Israel.. Please keep me informed of what he is doing.. God bless...

I never cease to be amazed by all the talented writers on Huck Pac. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Jerusalem--absolutely beautiful, and I have never given any thought to usa being in the middle of the name.
Also, what a blessing it is to support a cause whose leader is honoring God by his support to Israel--how reassuring to know the promises of God concerning his chosen people.

Governor Huckabee...
There is no city on the face of the earth like Jerusalem. Jerusalem—the very word stirs deep emotions, memories of the past, and hopes for the future. The Unites States should move the American embassy to Jerusalem.
Israel smaller in size than the state of New Jersey is the only democracy in that part of the world that is surrounded by countries with massive land and dictatorships. Such countries cannot accept the freedom promoted by such a small, but powerful country…Israel.
God himself chose to establish Jerusalem as His dwelling place on earth forever. Jerusalem is the city where God's presence dwells on the earth. It is the literal presence of the living God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. That divine presence appeared to Moses in the burning bush, calling him to liberate the Jewish people from the iron grip of Egyptian slavery.
That presence was established by God through King David 1Kings11:36 "And to his son [Solomon] I will give one tribe, that My servant David may always have a lamp before Me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chose for Myself, to put My name there."Jerusalem is the heart of Israel. For over 3,000 years the hearts and the souls of the Jewish people have preserved the history of their beautiful city and culture. There are voices calling for the sacred city to be shared as a part of the Roadmap for Peace in the Middle East. Yet there is only war and no peace. The city of Jerusalem should not be up for negotiation with anyone at any time and for any reason in the future. It has been and shall always be the eternal and undivided capital of the State of Israel. The Jewish state allows all to live there…it is called freedom. The Unites States and Israel know that the freedom they share is a commonality. What’s in a word ? Look closely …JerUSAalem.

You can surely go in my place for any of their vaccinations...
But beware....I have studied these vaccine companies and have posted back in early March about Baxter Pharma "accidentally" sending out doses of contaminated flu vaccines to 18 countries. It was only caught when one of the countries receiving did additional tests using the vaccine on ferrets... All the ferrets were killed deader than hammers. These level 3 and level 4 bio labs follow protocols which should have ruled out any UNINTENTIONAL shipping out contaminated vaccines.
Simply stated -- I DON'T TRUST THEM.
BTW, Baxter will be one of the major flu vaccine sources... -

I think I have figured out why President Obama wanted his health reform plan past by the 1st of August. Fellow me on this.
No one claims the 1000 pages health care reform plan. President Obama says it not his; the congress wrote it, but none of the Senators or Representatives have read it. So where did it come from?
All the talk about health care reform is covering up something. Here is one thing that is going on and not being talked about H1N1 (swine flu).
Well let’s say the bill was past and signed into law:
Some where in the plan is a section on what to do case of emergency or limited supplies. What will happen if the H1N1 mutates and become even more deadly. There is no vaccine for this virus or a limited supple.
In the bill there is part that set up an advisory board, who will determine who will get the vaccine. If the bill had been pasted the advisory would have been set up by President Obama.
I think President Obama wanted the bill past before school started, because if H1N1 mutated he could let the advisory board advise him on who would get the vaccine. He could than said I had to do what he advisory board said need to be done.
Some of the people that advices him and may be appointed to the Advisory Board; believes there is too many people in the world; they think the population should be deceased. Some of the advisors also think people under fourteen and over fifty-five are not worth keeping around. This group would not be given the H1N1 vaccine, until all others have been vaccinated. Right now the most valuable are in this group. What persons will stand by while their child dies of the flu.
I know this seem long winded, but I have something else to add.
President Obama make me afraid.
I he can force some group into an armed rebellion, he can declare marshal law and arrest all the Conrgessman and Judges charge them with helping the rebellion. He will become a dictator.
