As you all know, on August 22, Huck PAC and Team Huck will be hosting House Parties all across America. The purpose of the House Parties on the 22nd is to not only get to know each other and get more people involved in Huck PAC and Team Huck, but also to make at least 10,000 phone calls into Virginia for Republican Gubernatorial candidate Bob McDonnell. You may not know this, but the latest polls show Bob with a lead of 8% points over his Democrat rival. Bob is a strong conservative and has been endorsed by Governor Huckabee and Huck PAC. We believe that this race will set the tone for 2010 and turn the country on the right track. Won't you help us? Commit to making 50 phone calls into Virginia on behalf of Bob McDonnell. I was at Sen. Tom Coburn's townhall meeting today where he confirmed what we all know - the Democrats have the ability to shove their healthcare plan down our throats. In fact, Obama has pledged to do it with or without Republican support. All of Oklahoma's congressional delegation, save one Dan Boren (D), has promised to vote against socialism. Many in attendance asked what they could do about the congressmen from the other states. In short, Dr. Coburn said "Be involved". Many of the legislators that will vote for this disastrous bill will be up for re-election in 2010. We need to help set the stage in 2009 for those important elections. What happens in other states has an impact on you where you are, either directly or indirectly. While Bob McDonnell may not be my governor, his race is a must win for Republicans and that is why I am hosting a house party and will personally make 50 phone calls.

I've taken the federal "Oath of Office" several times in my life, both upon entering the Armed Forces, and in federal employment; For years it has bothered me that, except for my experience in the Navy, the "Oath of Office" (to uphold the Constitution) appears, in actions, not to be a priority of many of those who take the oath. Instead, at all levels, the priority is for self-recognition and promotion, not public servitude. I used to feel alone in this view. I am going to try to make fifty calls for the upcoming election of Bob McDonnell in Virginia. I don't know this guy well, and he sure won't do anything for my state. However, this political race might be the start of the election of conservative politicians. The issues of sanctity of life, preservation of freedoms, adherence to the rights of all Americans and protection of our security and our dignity cannot be addressed satisfactorily by the liberal politicians that rule today. Since I don not know McDonnell, I have to rely on someone I trust, I've placed great confidence in Governor Huckabee's ability to read the political weather and the character of a man, and create opportunities for trustworthy and solid politicians with conservative values to be elected. Governor Huckabee supports Bob McDonnell, and that's good enough for me. You have to trust someone, and Governor Huckabee has asked those that trust him to help with calls. First, ever since November when it was evident there would be major changes in Washington, I have been very hesitant about trusting the new administration, congress, and other political figures around the country. Now that they have had time to demonstrate their agendas and the policies important to them, I am extremely disappointed and worried about the well being of Americans! Secondly, because I am a student, I am not able to support Mike Huckabee and other Republicans financially. I was at Sen. Tom Coburn's townhall meeting today where he confirmed what we all know - the Democrats have the ability to shove their healthcare plan down our throats. In fact, Obama has pledged to do it with or without Republican support. All of Oklahoma's congressional delegation, save one Dan Boren (D), has promised to vote against socialism. Many in attendance asked what they could do about the congressmen from the other states. In short, Dr. Coburn said "Be involved". Many of the legislators that will vote for this disastrous bill will be up for re-election in 2010. We need to help set the stage in 2009 for those important elections. What happens in other states has an impact on you where you are, either directly or indirectly. While Bob McDonnell may not be my governor, his race is a must win for Republicans and that is why I am hosting a house party and will personally make 50 phone calls.

Allow about 30 minutes for a bank of 20 names and pray for that one person to really encourage you to continue. There will be one and hopefully the first call. Our nation needs us and Bob McDonnell and of course, Mike Huckabee for heading this up.

My reasons for wanting to make phone calls Bob McDonnell are that I am a committed Conservative who is frightened beyond imagination about what I see is happening in this great country. I think we need more conservatives who are committed to serving the American way of life as most of us know it. This includes personal responsibility, self reliance, willing to help ones neighbor to help himself, not give him a bailout.
I am afraid of the left wing efforts in Washington to take over the lives of the American Public in almost every aspect of our lives. Such as health care, our cost of energy with the lack of consideration to those efforts that are available in our back yard. I am a health care provider for over 40 years that still practices and what I see happening will not be good for the future of Nurse Anesthetists who incidentally provide over 50% of Anesthesia services in the U. S. yearly.

Nice folks and one who stopped me as I was doing the disclaimer and said:
"Wait a minute! I have a question for you!"
You can imagine that I was a little nervous when I said, "What is your question?"
He said: "I just want to know why you don't draft Mike Huckabee for President?"
I told him I agree and that I would pass along his comment!

Like many others, I started a county Team Huck because my county needs one. I'm praying for someone more gifted in leadership to step up so I can be one of the dedicated and productive support persons. How many other HuckPACkers are in the same situation???
Let's just keep doing all we can and pulling together.
One of the teachers I like to listen to on BRN was talking today about the horse--did you know one healthy adult horse can pull a load of about 2500 pounds? TWO healthy adult horses together can pull a load of about 12,000 pounds! Amazing, huh? See the parallels???

Please ask you friends, your neighbors, your family, your email contacts, your facebook friends, your myspace and twitter friends, and anyone else you can think of to please participate in making phone calls for Bob McDonnell! This is our chance to do what Huck PAC is all about...to get a conservative elected, and to show everyone that WE ARE SERIOUS about making REAL change in our country! If you can't attend a house party, you can still make a difference by making phone calls from your home! I urge EVERYONE to get involved!!!

Any form of medical oversight from Washington is simply putting a foot in the door to achieve complete control of the people by future regulations.
