Team Huck Growing in Alabama

When Huck PAC contacted me about being a state coordinator for Alabama it could not have been a worse moment. I am on the board of our local children's theatre and we were right in the middle of the biggest production we have done. Not only that, but my girls were in the production and my husband was playing one of the lead roles. My first thought was no way I can take this on "I'm too busy", but there was just something inside me that kept telling me over and over "you need to do this." So I agreed, feeling a little guilty that I wasn't going to be able to do much for over a month. A few weeks ago I really turned my efforts to organizing Alabama. I have really enjoyed working with Holly Bush and we have started to see some growth in Team Huck here in the state. We have had several people step up and agree to take on their counties and I have already met a candidate for my Congressional Seat that I am so excited about and working to get a Huck PAC endorsement for.

You see, I am new to the "game" of politics. The last election was the first one I had ever actually done more than vote in! I have never sat and talked with someone running for office at length until last week. I wasn't sure that I knew enough about politics to do the job that Huck PAC needed me to do, but God is providing me with the tools I need. You too can do so much more than you think you can, think you have time to do, or think you know how to do. Volunteering to be a State Coordinator is one of the best things that has happened to me in a while. I have so enjoyed making connections with others across the state. I get so excited when I talk with someone that feels the same way I do and is ready to work to make our state better. I know we are going to be successful in working together, we just need more people to get involved! It gives me a since of pride that I am taking the anger I feel at things I have no control over, and putting it to good use to make a difference for the future. The doors seem to be opening daily for me and all I have to do is walk through them . I feel as if I am being lead and if I just pay attention, I will know what to do next.

Don't sit on the sidelines this time around. Every election I can remember you hear that famous saying...."this is the most important election ever." But the fact is, THIS election is what I like to call a Direction Election. We have REAL choices about what the future of America is going to be, what direction we will take as a country, and what kind of country we are going to leave for our kids. America WILL be a radically different county than the one I grew up in if we fail. And our competition is as motivated as we are to make sure they win. Please join with us today, on this National Volunteer Day, as we work to better our states and in turn better our Nation for our children and grandchildren.

I don't know how you go about suggesting a candidate for endorsement, but Huck PAC should consider endorsing Judge Roy Moore for governor of Alabama. He is a fiscal and social conservative who is willing to stand up for what he believes in.
