Tea Parties Across America
Chris and Ginny
Belmar New Jersey
I went to the tea party in Belmar NJ- on the ocean boardwalk. I wish I had pictures but I don't. But what a great experience. Temperatures around 40 degrees with a cold biting wind and rain and occasional sleet didn't
deter over 500 tea party teabaggers from protesting the tax and spend congress and president. I proudly wore my Mike Huckabee tea shirt when a CNN photographer took some footage so maybe that will show up on the air. The crowd was enthusiastic and was complemented by dozens of cars driving up and down the strip honking their horns in support. Truck air horns were especially welcomed and got the crowd going. On a day like this with only grassroots info going out, this was a tremendous success and show of support against the nonsense in Washington.

We had a great turnout in Orange County - 2000+ attended. Will send photos - we also got some video.
We ran out of FairTax flyers - will bring more next time.
I think we doubled our OC WST group today so next Tuesday's event should be interesting because we have more people going than Fuddruckers can handle at one time. We are going to need a larger forum for future events.

We had a TEA Party in Morristown NJ also. 12:00 Noon on the Green. I don't know exactly how many people were there, but it filled the green. In addition to telling anyone listening that we do not like what they are doing in Washington, we had all of the candidates for NJ Governor there, except Corzine, the coward. We asked them what they would do to stop the craziness in Trenton.

Michigan had a record turn out on the steps of our Capital of about 7,000. The Fair Tax, State and Federal, gained huge approval and the transparancy of government got a huge rally cry.

Me, my dad and my sister drove an hour from the town we live to north Platte,NE where an estimated 400-450 people turned out to protest over-taxation, despite the strong winds. I passed out all the Fair Tax fliers and their seemed to be great interest in the subject.

I suggest that everyone that is visiting and posting here today sign up as a Team Huck Ranger and be part of our Team.
Then Contribute $10 to help Mike Huckabee campaign with conservative candidates who support Pro-Life, Pro-Family values and who support the FairTax.
You CAN make a difference!

I feel the best "next action" would be mail to the Reps and Congress. That way, they can't say "they didn't know anything was going on" and they can't get in our faces and make scenes at our rallies, marches, etc. It will be right there in their mailboxes!

My husband and I attended the TEA Party in smalltown Gilmer, TX at noon today on the courthouse lawn. With only a few organizers spending their own money to publicize the event, we had a decent turnout of about 250 people. The Tyler media gave all the events held in East Texas generous coverage. I was interviewed on one station. The people who came were of all ages and even a few minorities. Many came carrying homemade signs and were attentive and polite, no vulgar, rude behaviors observed as in some liberal demonstrations. Another rally is planned for July 4th. I believe the citizens have had enough of irresponsible politicians and unnecessary spending (pork) with no accountability. I am thankful our Congressman, Louie Gohmert, voted against all the bailout bills. He is a true social/fiscal conservative and deserves HuckPAK endorsement in 2010.

I attended the Columbia, SC Tea Party and Rally and my sister and I had our personally-designed shirts with Gov. Huckabee's pic and underneath NEXT president. We had so many comments and people who wanted one! When Neal Boortz was speaking about Gov. Huckabee just before he came out Boortz refered to him as our NEXT president. We thought that was great!

I wanted to add to my comment I made about the Huck PAC sign picture... our media in Abilene, Texas seems liberal. So, we were doing good to get a picture with Huck PAC, even if it is cutoff, LOL. I'm sure that was done purposely.

We went to the Tea Party in Abilene and it was a success. Huck PAC/Team Huck signs made the news...yay. I plan to send pics in tomorrow, as soon as I receive them, but I wanted to share that our Huck PAC sign made the main picture on our news website. My husband Lee is in the picture. We did have a lot of people there, but he is the only one in the pic. "Huck" is kind of cut off...but I think people can read it. Here's the link:
