Huckabee Releases Statement about Raperts bid for reelection to Arkansas State Senate representing District 35

Little Rock, AR - Governor Mike Huckabee issued the following statement about State Senator Jason Rapert:

Huck PAC and I are proud to endorse State Senator Jason Rapert for reelection to Arkansas State Senate representing District 35.

Jason Rapert is a true servant of his community.  He is a member of the Conway Rotary Club which raises funds annually for Faulkner County community scholarships at their pancake breakfast held in conjunction with Toad Suck Daze, and he served on the board of directors for the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce for several years.

Jason is fighting every day in the State Senate for hardworking Arkansas taxpayers. He knows that the federal government has driven our national debt to unsustainable levels and that we must rein in deficit spending at the federal level. He is a life member of the NRA and earned their endorsement in his last campaign. Jason will fight against any legislation that will limit the rights of gunowners.

Senator Rapert is a strong supporter of life and will always support pro-life legislation. He also supports an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that defines marriage as being between one man and one woman. He will defend traditional marriage in Arkansas and he will fight any attempt to redefine marriage in Arkansas.

Sen. Jason Rapert is a man of integrity and solid conservative values. He has a plan to make Arkansas a better place to live, work and raise a family. His work in the Arkansas state senate helped cut taxes by $35 million dollars.  He's fought for hardworking Arkansas taxpayers and their traditional common sense values. I am proud to call Jason Rapert my friend and ask that you vote for him and send him back to the Arkansas Senate

I hope you will join Huck PAC and me in supporting Jason Rapert for reelection to Arkansas State Senate representing District 35.
