Huck PAC Endorses Dr. Robert Bentley For Governor In Alabama

Huck PAC and I are pleased to announce our support of Dr. Robert Bentley for Governor of Alabama. Robert is the conservative reformer who will fight the federal government, clean up Montgomery, and put Alabamians back to work.

Robert is the author of the Alabama Reemployment Act of 2010 – which passed the House and Senate unanimously and will create 5,000 new jobs by cutting taxes on businesses that hire new employees.

Robert will defend Alabama's sovereignty from crushing federal oversight and will protect each Alabamian's right to legally purchase, own, carry and use firearms. As an Air Force medic, Robert also served his country and treated soldiers wounded in Vietnam.

You never have to question where Robert stands on the key social issues, because we know that he sincerely believes that life begins at conception, and that marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman. He is 100% pro life and pro marriage

I hope you will join me in supporting Dr. Robert Bentley and make him the next Governor of Alabama

I don't understand why everyone thinks Dr. Bentley is so liberal. He is a great Christian man very active in his Baptist church. Sometimes you have to work with people such as the AEA because you will never be able to get rid of them. He ran a very respectful campaign and won because of his stance on issues facing Alabama, not because of how well he attacked his opponent. Bradley Byrne never campaigned based on his stance on issues, but only tried to make Dr. Bentley look bad. Byrne had an entire commercial where his family sat around and talked about what a good man he is and how he reads his Bible everyday. Who knows if there is any truth behind that and who puts up a commercial bragging about reading the Bible. The Bible says to do good and not want recognition for it. Dr. Bentley named all of his sons after Jesus's apostles, but he didn't feel compelled to run a commercial saying how great and wonderful he is as a person. Finally, everyone who thinks that Byrne was the true Republican, he used to be a Democrat; Bentley has always been a strong Republican.

    Wayne,
You must not understand Huckpac. It is Mike huckabee's Political Action Committee, It supports conservatives all around America. The HuckPac members contribute to this endevor. How do you know that the son-in-law is not there to help the Doctor as part of the support? Mike does not endorse just any GOP or Conservative running. They must meet his Conservative standards.
You would think as much as Mr. Byrne talks about his Christianity in his ads that Mike would have chosen to support him. Could the reason be that he is not the best choice? My opinion.

To the first comment concerning Huckabee's "quid pro quo" because his son-in-law was Bentley's campaign manager: I think the real reason is because Bentley was a Huckabee delegate to the '08 Repub. convention, and they both have similar political views. I may be wrong, but I think Huckabee is a stand-up-guy who wouldn't endorse someone to get his son-in-law a temporary job.

I understand why Governor Huckabee might have made this endorsement, his son-in-law has become Dr. Bentley's campaign manager. I would prefer he maintain a "stand off" position in the race to determine the next governor of Alabama. I respect Governor Huckabee very much and want him to succeed in the next Presidential contest.

There will be bitterness on the part of Byrne supporters and it will hurt the Governor and the endorsement will help Bentley very little since the press has published the apparent quid pro quo in the endorsement.

To use an old southern phrase: "you really don't have a dog in this fight" and it will hurt you as you are percieved interfereing in Alabama politics.

    Dear Governor,
Thank you for supporting Dr. Bentley. He was the long shot here and I truly think he is the best man for the job. Your first commercial on his behalf was good, but out of sync with audio/video. I do not know who to call to fix that. Maybe your folks can find out and get that fixed.
You looked great without the tie; not that I am against ties.
On another topic: we need you healthy for 2012. So I suggest you reread this great book by my pick for our next President. It is intitled: STOP DIGGING YOUR GRAVE with a KNIFE and FORK. I have started back on the road down again. And I encourage you to get yourself fit for service! You may want to send Chris Christie a copy of the book. I think he has the personality (Humility and sense of humor) to handle it.
I realize you may not read this post, personally, but I know your staff reports back to you. I am 63 years old and 165 pounds today. Being a woman, it is harder for me to lose 40 to 50 pounds than it is for you.
Now I know you are grabbing food as are on the go and not grabbing exercise, but, really, you know your own (steps) rules. Just a friendly observation.
If you do not want to let this be posted that is fine. You know how to reach me. I will gladly be your "health partner". Let's go!
