Greetings, Huck PAC family!
Janet and I are in Japan this week where I’ll be speaking on several college campuses, meeting with business leaders, and meeting with government officials, some of whom I know from previous trips here during my tenure as Governor. We are delighted at the warm welcome we’ve already received and especially amazed at the depth at which people in Japan follow the American elections.
We are truly touched to see the devastation left by the record floods in Iowa. I often say that Iowa is my “2nd favorite state” thanks to the wonderful support that we had there leading to a stunning win in the Iowa caucuses earlier this year. We see the photos of familiar landmarks and are left speechless by seeing those places underwater and knowing that for all the damage to the property, the real story is the damage to the people who live in those places. Many of their lives will never be the same.
One doesn’t have to have a special love for Iowa as I do to have a true concern for great people there and I want to encourage all our HuckPac family to do what you can to assist through relief efforts. Of course, since Janet works for the Red Cross, I’m sure she’d suggest Red Cross as a vehicle to help. Our prayers truly go out for our friends there. I was scheduled to be there last Friday and Saturday, but the events at the state GOP were cancelled due to the weather and flooding. I’ve been in touch with Bob Vander Plaats, our Iowa chairman and dear friend, who has kept us updated on things as well.
We also have been touched by the shocking death of Tim Russert. As you probably remember, I announced my candidacy on Meet the Press in January of 2007 and when I appeared on May 18 of this year, I became the last Presidential candidate in this election cycle from either party to be on the program with Tim. In my every encounter with him, he was tough, but fair and the consummate professional in every way. More importantly, he was a truly decent human being. On the day I was with him May 18, he was leaving the studio that day to be with his son, Luke, who was graduating from Boston College that very day. There was a special glow in his face as he exuded the pride of a father whose son was reaching a major milestone. I had no idea it would be the last time I would see him.
Many of you have read that I’ll be doing commentary with Fox News from time to time and will be developing a show that will launch later. As details surface, I’ll keep you posted. I’m working on the final chapters of my book “Do the Right Thing” that will be released in November. I think you’ll love the book since it will reveal much of the behind the scenes of the campaign as well as discuss what the road ahead looks like for America. My goal is to take what we saw ignited in the campaign for pro-life, pro-family, conservative principles and not only keep our “community” active, but growing stronger. I love reading your comments on the blog and hope you keep talking to me and to each other and to the rest of America.
I truly appreciate all you are doing to help us help candidates across the country through HuckPac. Keep the faith, love your family, and keep standing for our precious freedoms!
God bless you all.

Judge Deborah thinks you guys and gals are the greatest!
I just read in the June 23 issue of Newsweek that John Kerry wants to be Secretary of State under Barack Obama.
Even though John McCain keeps changing his mind and talks like a liberal Democrat, an entire liberal administration is pretty frightening.
John LeBoutillier thinks McCain could choose Michael Bloomberg as VP. That's pretty desperate.

Wow! What a puzzle! If we just had one conservative candidate to choose from. Hmmmmmmmmmm.
If only the Republican Party had let the people choose rather than pushing party unity so hard before the primaries were over, we might have a sensible candidate now.
Here's part of the Simi Valley Republican Presidential Debate on Jan. 30, 2008:
MR. COOPER: Governor Huckabee, what makes you qualified on economic issues, on the military?
MR. HUCKABEE: Well, first of all, let me say -- a while ago, you said you were going to shower me with questions, and I think then you turned the spigot off, so I want to make sure I get a little time in here to get some time.
I want to just say that I agree with something that Governor Romney said. He talked about that governors are well prepared to be presidents. And I think he's right about that. And if that's the case, then I appreciate his endorsement, because I've been a governor and led a state longer than anybody running for president, Democrat or Republican. I've actually managed a government for 10 and a half years.
There's something a lot of people don't think about. When you're a governor, you actually manage a microcosm of the federal government. Every agency that you have at the federal level, you have at the state level. You are familiar with the whole game board. You understand what those agencies do, because you interrelate with them as a governor every single day.
But you know what the biggest frustration is? Washington doesn't understand how states operate, but states understand how Washington operates, and that's the fundamental difference. We understand, because unfunded mandates come stomping down on top of us, wrecking our state budgets, creating a complete imbalance of power, ignoring the 10th Amendment.
And that's one reason that a lot of us are ready to say it's time for a new type of leadership that respects the 10th Amendment, that respects the fact that governors are out there fighting to try to build a decent education system, create jobs, make sure that we can give families a chance to have a decent way of living. And that we get governments off the backs of mothers and fathers who ought to be raising kids without a whole lot of government interference.
Those are the reasons that I think when a governor gets to the White House, he does understand that leadership is about looking at all of those issues and realizing that there is no such thing as an isolated issue. Education, health care, economic development -- they're all tied together, Anderson. And this is something that I don't hear coming often from people, who, with all due respect, in the legislative branch, have the luxury of picking out particular issues that they can specialize in.
Governors don't get to specialize. They have to be able to handle on any given day several dozen different issues and see how they integrate together for a strong economy, a strong sense of security. And that's how it works.
MR. COOPER: You've said repeatedly you want a presidential candidate -- or you think voters want a presidential candidate, quote, "who looks more like the guy they work with than the guy who laid them off." What exactly do you mean by that? I mean, what about leadership, ability, experience?
MR. HUCKABEE: That's exactly -- real leadership recognizes what your decisions do to people at the bottom. That's what I mean by it, Anderson.
You can't have a president who sees a whole bunch of America as invisible. If you make a decision at the top and you don't understand how it affects the person all the way at the bottom, then you're not ready to lead. Leadership is about seeing the whole field.
MR. HUCKABEE: And that's what I'm talking about. And that's why -- listen, our Republican Party is going to be in trouble if we creating policies and acting like we don't understand what those folks are feeling out there waiting the tables, handling bags, driving the trucks, and moving the freight around.

Joy: Oh, you're welcome! Flood victims and fire victims: The South Bay is burning again! It's terrible...the smell of smoke is everywhere and the damage is extensive.
I actually had a very good Sunday. I went to church last night so I could head south early for a rare indulgence for me: Shopping! I am a little pink, despite the ample smoke cover today...One of these days, hopefully before I get skin cancer, I will remember sunblock when I'm going to be out and about.
Goodness knows I've had enough of cancer to last me a very very long time.
My pastor has taken to calling me his HuckaHornet (bees being too docile, you see lol), and I certainly have a temper, but I try to be fair. My impulse to be fair is sorely tested when someone comes after me, though.
As I said over on the moderation blog, I should have been the bigger person and just let certain comments roll off. I'm sorry that I didn't and at the same time glad the temptation was removed, as I notice many blogs are short a number of posts attacking Thomas, Donna, or myself.
I think one of my biggest regrets is that I didn't plead with the webmaster sooner for deliverance. Rick Mave's posts are his responsibility, certainly, and he seems to have a similarly short fuse to my own, but I wonder if I had asked for intercession sooner, perhaps he wouldn't have been angered enough to make the last post he did, which would appear to have sealed his fate as well.
Who knows? This victory, if it can be termed that, is very bittersweet.

Well I can't give any money right now, but Governor, I pledge to give the maximum legal amount to your 2012 Presidential campaign. You'll win easily if you can stop the media from calling you a spoiler for anyone. You were right when you said, "Why don't you call Mitt Romney a Mike Huckabee spoiler?" because he was.

Thank you Tyger for the clarification. I appreciate your detailed answer. Just like you, I'm moving on from this "topic" here at HuckPac, but will continue to urge everyone to contact their U.S. Representative to co-sponsor the Federal Marriage Amendment H.J. Res. 89.
I hope you and all the HuckPac's are having a good Sunday...it's 100 degress here in So. California. But thank God it's not humid, yet. Also, I'd like to remind many of you to pray for all the flood victims in the Mid-west.

Thanks EMO in FL for your gracious and kind and encouraging words! Happy Birthday to your brother and God Bless You Bonnie for your consistent words of wisdom!
To all visitors and regular posters, please don't knock people who ask for donations under their Ranger Codes. We were instructed to do that when we were on MikeHuckabee.com.
We even had the top 5 Rangers who had collected the most money for Mike. I didn't get involved in the action until about 2 weeks before Mike dropped out of the race, and I raised over $2,000 for Mike after he dropped out to help pay his campaign expenses and nearly $5,000 total.
Being involved in a political campaign for the first time in my life was a lifechanging experience. Even though I emailed and put up posters for George W. Bush, I never donated one penny, but Mike Huckabee's message and meeting his wife, Janet, touched my heart.
I've already donated $180.08 to HuckPAC and over $500 to MikeHuckabee.com. God bless everyone who asks for donations for Mike and Janet Huckabee.
If we're not donating $5 per week now and saving $5 per week for 2012, shame on us!
God Bless All Rangers and All Visitors to this Site and Please, Please, Please, Click on CONTRIBUTE and donate $20.08 and please enter Ranger Donor or Event Code R23732!

Joy: Careful with that...that's how Donna Lee got on Bill's list of Stealth Homosexuals. As far as he is concerned there is NO worse sin.
He has made it abundantly clear that he has no love for the sinner, nor wish to redeem them. Of course that would assume he was correct, which he is not.
His claims that his accusations against Thomas Donlon specifically are fact, as well as those against Donna Lee or myself by inference since he has said the exact same thing about all of us, but anyone with the reading comprehension of a third grader should be able to see that he manipulates our words to suit his purpose.
This all seems like deja vu...i recall having the following exchange with his dumber twin, Jake:
Tyger
Yes, I think you are pushing the homosexual agenda in your own subtle way.
***************************************************
Interesting theory…pity you had to lie to make your point.***************************************************
-- You often have challenged people here who challenge those who are pushing the homosexual agenda.
***************************************************
FALSE: From my own posts:“I don't "get" homosexuality (in no small part because I look at a lot of the women around me here and think, “Ugh, guys can have them!"), and I believe what the Bible has to say about homosexuality, but punishment of sins isn't my job.”
“I no longer attend the Catholic Church near my home because they bless gay unions. What scripture and even Canon have to say on the matter is pretty clear, so I can't begin to explain what they think they are doing.”
“Again, though, there is a big difference between celebrating homosexuality, and treating gay people decently. When it comes to who my friends are, or how I interact with co-workers or strangers who are gay, their sexual orientation is only on the table if they are one of those foaming at the mouth idiots who get up in my face whilst groping their partner and laugh about how I don't know what I'm missing.”
“David Crowe: I thought his opinion of the ruling here in California was clear. Calling something "outrageous and stunning" is only a compliment when referring to drag queens.
Just because he isn't on every news show and here every day pounding the podium with his shoe and hollering, doesn't mean he is happy about it.For myself I'm glad he isn't still hammering on it. He made his point, I agree with it along with scores of others. What more can he say?”
”Sweet Dreams: (what IS with all the people lately too weak to stand behind their own words?) Speaking as one of the 60% who voted FOR Prop 22, I find your comments extremely offensive. I live in California and don't know a single gay person who acts as you are describing.” (to refresh people’s memories, Dreams said the following:
LET'S TURN CALIFORNIA INTO THE AIDS ISLAND....AFTER THE BIG EARTHQUAKE THAT GOD WILL SURELY SEND THIS SHOULDNT BE A PROBLEM....THEN THEY CAN ALL PARTY AND DIE IN PEACE.FACE IT, THIS OUT-OF THE CLOSET WILL RAISE THE NEED FOR EMITREX, AND OTHER MEDS. OF THAT KIND. HEALTH CARE FOR COUPLES WITH AIDS TO RECIEVE SPECIAL BEEFITS.
LOTS OF HOMO PARENTING...PROMISCUITY W/SAME SEX AND KIDS in full view...NEXT MARRY YOUR DOG OR CAT or Goldfish...)Dream’s post is so hyperbolic and absurd that I really don’t think my response needs an explanation, but I will say that I am and always will be against people who preach hate. Also, thinking that there are other issues of importance this election cycle doesn’t mean that I think the gay marriage initiative doesn’t matter, but as I have said if we make this election about one thing, we will lose and lose badly. Ask someone who can’t feed their kids or lost their job and faces losing their home, I’m willing to bet gay marriage isn’t high on their list of concerns.
***************************************************
-- You have made posts about homosexuals you know and how they are fine people. That obviously is an attempt to soften up the issue.
***************************************************
FALSE: From my own posts:When it comes to who my friends are, or how I interact with co-workers or strangers who are gay, their sexual orientation is only on the table if they are one of those foaming at the mouth idiots who get up in my face whilst groping their partner and laugh about how I don't know what I'm missing.
I live 45 minutes outside of San Francisco, and even closer to The People’s Republic of Berkeley. The likelihood that I could avoid a population that makes up 15% of the people in San Francisco alone is very VERY small.
They’re decent co-workers, and their orientation frankly isn’t what I care about in a work environment until it interferes with their work or mine. It hasn’t yet, so all is well. As for having gay friends, I might have gay friends, but I don’t know…I don’t interview prospective friends to weed out the gay people. Again, given where I live, I probably do. That I don’t know is just fine with me…I hope they keep it that way…I don’t wear my heart on my sleeve, but I don’t make a secret of how I feel about homosexuality either.
***************************************************
--You have posted inaccurate statements about the ban and about other things like the Catholic Church recognizing homosexuals, when this is not the case. These inaccurate statements taken as a whole show that you are trying to spin the issue the homosexual way -- with statements that turn out not to be true.
***************************************************
FALSE: From my own posts:I no longer attend the Catholic Church near my home because they bless gay unions. What scripture and even Canon have to say on the matter is pretty clear, so I can't begin to explain what they think they are doing. Am I totally ridiculous for thinking a Catholic Church ought to follow Catholic doctrine?
Jake and Bill can run, but they can't hide. I flatly refuse to apologize for not spewing hate at homosexuals, and I'm not going to agree that I push the homosexual agenda (I'm sure that's a stunning revelation, right?). He does have one point though...it is true he hasn't slandered any of us...he's libeled us. Slander is spoken, libel is written.
I voted for our Prop 22, and I signed a petition to help get the Constitutional Amendment defining marriage in California as being between one man and one woman on the ballot (which I see is being challenged by the ACLU...funny how they only seem to care about civil liberties when they are liberties of people outside of the mainstream...twits), and will vote for it if the aforementioned challenges fail.
I think the real question I have to ask myself at this point is why I bother justifying myself to a roomful of strangers, one of whom is determined to smear me. I know where I stand, my family knows where I stand, my friends know, and God knows. No offense, some of you have been very nice and supportive of me, but you don't get to define me. God's already taken care of that and I would not presume to tell Him His business.

Hi Tyger,
You seem to be a very passionate person and that's great. You've been blessed with a lot of opinions...and definitely some of it I don't agree with, but who cares what I think because God made you...you. But please, just because "some" people support Bill Rocker's stance against homosexuality...it doesn't mean that we condone "slander". Yes, I was the one who said that he "rocks" because I admire his convictions, although I do agree that he can "tone" it down because Jesus had compassion for the sinnners...that's ALL of us. No one is perfect, no not one, therefore, our Heavenly Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the Cross to take our place for our sin(s) so that we don't have to go to Hell for our sins, but Jesus took OUR place. You see, that's the KEY, it's nothing WE can do...but He did it for us already...once and for all to those who believe. Also, the Holy Bible says, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12Most of us know that homosexuality is a sin, and the people who engage in it should be ashamed of it...but rather, they want to be "free" to engage in it. All of us have sinned one way or the other, but we don't proudly "parade" ourselves and insist on "everybody" to tolerate our sin and make it "legal". That's the reason why many of us (including Mr. Huckabee) are on guard in trying to protect the "traditional marriage"....to protect what was...is...and always will be the right stance against homosexuality according to the Scriptures.

Bravo, Thomas!
It isn't fair though, to single out Mrs P. She is far from the only one who appears to endorse Bill's slander. Several people have chimed in recently since my last post to him to tell him he "rocks", and congratulate him for standing tall "under fire".
What they either don't see or don't care about is that he is under fire for personal attacks with no basis in fact. The contortions he goes through to "prove" people are pushing the homosexual agenda are impressive in a warped sort of way.
They are still lies, however.
Thank you for reminding people of that.

Donlon, Thomas

Hi Mrs. P,
I am glad you believe verses that speak against homosexuality. Bill Rocker managed to scrape four passages together that directly mention homosexuality or refer to the "sexual immorality and perversion" that infested Sodom and Gomorah and the surrounding towns.
Leviticus 18:22
Leviticus 20:13
Romans 1:22-28
Jude verses 7 and 8
He also included Luke 17:32 which is a warning to "Remember Lot's wife!" However, there Jesus was telling us not to go back for our possessions on "the day the Son of Man is revealed". It doesn't directly deal with homosexuality.
Also, Bill dug up a scripture about going and sinning no more. This context can apply to any type situation.
Keep in mind Mrs. P that other types of sexuality immorality are also bad. And it wasn't just for homosexuality that Sodom was destroyed. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah weren't just destroyed because of some differences in their brains that attracted them to same sex. They were wicked and lawless.
Genesis 13:13 Now the men of Sodom were wicked and were sinning greatly against the LORD.
2 Peter 2:6-8 if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly; 7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)--
Ezekiel 16:48-50 48 As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, your sister Sodom and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done. 49 "'Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. 50 They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen.
So Mrs P you write, that
"There are many things that are causing this nation to crumble - atheisism, evolutionary doctrine, socialistic ideologies, and yes, homosexuality. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorah for the sin of homosexuality. Can He do any less to a nation that once proclaimed His name but has now sunk to this level?"I noticed that nothing on Ezekiel's list matches your list. Are you missing something?
Consider the sin of slander. Why do you excuse and overlook the fact that Bill Rocker slanders people left and right? Have you read any of the posts about him? Do you believe him when he casts aspersions on me or Donna Lee and Rick Mave, Tyger and others suggesting we support the homosexual movement among the many other slanders he posts?
Let's put up some of the scriptures about slander.
There are more than four of them. You should believe those scriptures too Mrs. P.NIV Leviticus 19:16 "'Do not go about spreading slander among your people. "'Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor's life. I am the LORD.
Psalm 15:1-5 LORD, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? 2 He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart 3 and has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman, 4 who despises a vile man but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his oath even when it hurts, 5 who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.NIV Psalm 38:20 Those who repay my good with evil slander me when I pursue what is good.
NIV Psalm 50:20 You speak continually against your brother and slander your own mother's son.
NIV Psalm 54:5 Let evil recoil on those who slander me; in your faithfulness destroy them.
NIV Psalm 59:10 my loving God. God will go before me and will let me gloat over those who slander me.
NIV Psalm 119:23 Though rulers sit together and slander me, your servant will meditate on your decrees.
NIV Proverbs 10:18 He who conceals his hatred has lying lips, and whoever spreads slander is a fool.
NIV Proverbs 30:10 "Do not slander a servant to his master, or he will curse you, and you will pay for it.
NIV Jeremiah 6:28 They are all hardened rebels, going about to slander. They are bronze and iron; they all act corruptly.
NIV Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
Mark 7:20-23 He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.' 21 For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, 22 greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. 23 All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.'"
NIV 2 Corinthians 12:20 For I am afraid that when I come I may not find you as I want you to be, and you may not find me as you want me to be. I fear that there may be quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, gossip, arrogance and disorder.
NIV Ephesians 4:31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
NIV Colossians 3:8 But now you must rid yourselves of all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.Titus 3:1-2 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men.
NIV James 4:11 ¶ Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.
NIV 1 Peter 2:1 ¶ Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.I could go on and on Mrs. P.
The Bible records at least two wars that started as a result of a rape. That is bad too Mrs. P.
Bill has his reasons for focusing on homosexuality and I don't believe it is just because he can dig up four verses in the Bible.
Be careful Mrs. P with who you ally yourself with. You don't know what is going on online.
It doesn't reflect well on you that you embrace slanderers. -

Early in the year (after Texas), many of you held on to the hope that something would still happen to put MH in the White House. I don't have anything against MH being VP (mostly), but frankly, I'm not praying for him to be VP. I'm still praying for a miracle; for God to move McCain out of the way...that McCain would be disqualified or disinterested or whatever it takes to change the course of things. (I wish the man no harm, but I wish him out of this race for the sake of our country...and my grandchildren!) I won't stop believing that MH can still be president until its positively over. Is anyone out there still with me or am I out on my own limb?

Thanks for signing the Petition! As long as the people are still signing this petition and they are ....... now at 1,800 ..... I will continue posting this link until they stop or until Mac chooses his VP ..... or if Mike Huckabee says to stop.

1. Though I disagree with his policies I believe Gov. Huckabee is a deeply principled and exceptionally decent individual who would make a fine Vice President.
2. Governor Huckabee's remarkable, distinguished record of accomplishments and vastly superior command not only of the issues, but vitally necessary solutions attest to his qualifications, extensive proven
executive leadership experience but what appeals most to the broad, diverse range of supporters, especially young adults, is his
integrity, common sense, genuine decency and authenticity. His quick wit, engaging humor, is sorely needed inside the dysfunctional, cynical self serving beltway.3. MR. MCCAIN, you need Mike to win. I hate your energy and immigration policies but hate Obamas abortion policies more. I will vote for you but hate doing it. Why don't you come out for the good of the Nation instead of the cut up parts of the nation. Frank
4. I will write Mike Huckabee in for President, if he is not on the ticket with you!
5. We are living in very difficult times and they are only getting worse. If we are to survive as a nation, we need the qualities found in Mike Huckabee and the help of the God he serves.

Hi Mike -It is SO GREAT to hear from you!
When you get back, is there anything Janet (and the Red Cross) can do to help us out here in IOWA? There is such devastation all around us. Thank you for considering! We were sad you had to cancel your visit to Iowa last week because of the flooding - I had looked forward to seeing you and Janet again. Iowa LOVES you both!!!
On a brighter note...I'm going to have my dad send you an autographed copy of his recently published book...from one HUNTER / FISHERMAN to another. :) It's a great read (humorous, reflective, nostalgic). I think you'll love it!
[URL]http://www.billkrejca.com/[URL/]
My grandpa (about whom the book was written) lived in Czech Village in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The home he owned before he died was destroyed in the flood last week. So many Iowans are left without anything. It just breaks my heart.
Thank you for being our beacon of hope, Mike. I can't wait to read your new book and will recommend it to everyone I run into!
Blessings from Iowa!
WE LIKE MIKE!!!

Bill Rocker,
I agree with Lola Cullen. Thanks for the verses. She is right, we must hate the sin but love the sinner. That is what Christ did. But He also took a strong stand against sin. When He saw the temple defiled He angrily overthrew the money changers. We too, must stand against sin.
There are many things that are causing this nation to crumble - atheisism, evolutionary doctrine, socialistic ideologies, and yes, homosexuality. God destroyed Sodom and Gomorah for the sin of homosexuality. Can He do any less to a nation that once proclaimed His name but has now sunk to this level?
Just as Jesus lovingly forgave the sinner, but stood strong against wicked practices, so must we.

Thank you for your stand and the scripture you shared.
He promises His Word will not come out void! God is clear. And His Word is TRUTH.
God Hates the sin BUT...
LOVES the sinner. For God so Loved the World that He gave his only begotton Son that WHOSOEVER believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
Homosexuality is sin. It is a fact. God said it! And God does not change. Let those that have ears to hear...hear what the spirit has to say through His Word! Amen.
If we confess our sin...HE is faithful and just to forgive us of our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Please listen to the truth...It will set you free! We need more truth in this world...
Blll...thank you for taking a strong stand and taking the fire...

Tea Party 2008 posted a plea to support the Salvation Army.
This is too funny not to share--the Zogby pollsters have me on their list, and on their last poll, one of the questions was a list of department stores--WalMart, Sears, KMart, JC Penney, and Macy's. The question was, if only one of them could exist, which would I need the most.
I selected the highest-end one. Wanna know why? Because those are the brands I look for when I do most of my clothes shopping--AT SALVATION ARMY!! I love finding cool clothes, wearing them until I'm tired of them and recycling them. It's one of my favorite sports.
I'll bet the poll data is just as skewed in other ways--another reason to ignore them!!
And yes, SA is a wonderful organization which we are proud to support.
NOW--TWO people took me up on the offer to match donations to my Ranger Codel So their donations plus my matches total $80.32. It COULD have been #200.80. I"ll keep the offer open for another two days.
Supporting Governor Huckabee and his HuckPAC candidates is a much better way to spend it than buying new stuff at department stores!!

Exxon Mobil Pumps Gas Money Into Politics
Published by Communications on February 5, 2008 3:15 PM | Permalink
In 2007, Exxon Mobil broke the record it previously had set for profits by a U.S. corporation, earning $40.6 billion for the year. As Americans are evaluating the candidates on their proposals to ease the price of gas, Exxon Mobil employees appear to be trying to ensure they have access to the White House, last year giving the presidential candidates a total of $84,000, with 52 percent going to Republicans. Republican Mitt Romney and Democrat Barack Obama collected the most within their respective parties—about $16,000 each. The oil and gas industry as a whole gave a total of $2.3 million last year to the entire field of contenders, 69 percent of which went to Republicans. Romney received more from the industry than any other candidate still in the race, having collected $375,000, and the industry was among his top 20 most generous supporters at the end of 2007. (Dropout Rudy Giuliani finished the year as the industry's favorite, with $622,000.) For Democrats, Hillary Clinton was the oil and gas industry's largest beneficiary, receiving nearly $269,000.GOD BLESS!

McCain Scores Big With Offshore Oil Drilling Proposal
Thursday, June 19, 2008 2:06 PM
By: Dick Morris & Eileen McGann ArticleJohn McCain has drawn first blood in the political debate following Barack Obama's victory in the primaries. His call yesterday for offshore oil drilling — and Bush's decision to press the issue in Congress — puts the Democrats in the position of advocating the wear-your-sweater policies that made Jimmy Carter unpopular.
With gas prices nearing $5, all of the previous shibboleths need to be discarded. Where once voters in swing states like Florida opposed offshore drilling, the high gas prices are prompting them to reconsider. McCain's argument that even hurricane Katrina did not cause any oil spills from the offshore rigs in the Gulf of Mexico certainly will go far to allay the fears of the average voter.
For decades, Americans have dragged their feet when it comes to switching their cars, leaving their SUVs at home, and backing alternative energy development and new oil drilling. But the recent shock of a massive surge in oil and gasoline prices has awakened the nation from its complaisance. The soaring prices are the equivalent of Pearl Harbor in jolting us out of our trance when it comes to energy.
Suddenly, everything is on the table. Offshore drilling, Alaska drilling, nuclear power, wind, solar, flex-fuel cars, plug-in cars are all increasingly attractive options and John McCain seems alive to the need to go there while Obama is strangely passive. During the Democratic primary, he opposed a gas tax holiday and continues to be against offshore and Alaska drilling and squishy on nuclear power.
That leaves turning down your thermostat and walking to work as the Democratic policies.
McCain has also been ratcheting up his attacks on oil speculators. With the total value of trades in oil futures soaring from $13 billion in 2003 to $260 billion today, it is increasingly clear that it is not the supply and demand for oil which is, alone, driving up the price, but it is the supply and demand for oil futures which is stoking the upward movement.
The Saudis have made a fatal mistake in not forcing down the price of oil.
We could have gone for decades as their hostage, letting their control over our oil supplies choke us while enriching them. But they got greedy and let the price skyrocket. The sudden shock which has sent America reeling is just the stimulus we need for a massive movement away from imported oil and toward new types of cars.
The political will for major change in our energy policy is now here and those, like Obama, who don't get it need to rethink their positions. To quote FDR, “this great nation calls for action and action now” on the energy issue.
What has been a back-burner problem now has moved onto center stage and McCain has put himself in the forefront.
The Democratic ambivalence stems from liberal concerns about climate change. The party basically doesn't believe in carbon-based energy and, therefore, opposes oil exploration.
That's why Obama pushes the windfall profits tax on oil companies — a step that tells them “you drill, you find oil, and we'll take away your profits.” But Americans have their priorities in order: more oil, more drilling and alternative energy sources, flex-fuel cars, plug-in vehicles and nuclear power.
With his willingness to respond to the gas price crisis with bold measures, McCain shows himself to be a pragmatist while Obama comes off as an ideologue to puts climate change ahead of making it possible for the average American to get to work.
Of course, the high price of gas makes it inevitable that the U.S. will lead the world in fighting climate change.
With $5 gas, Americans will switch en masse to cars that burn less gasoline. Already we have cut our oil consumption by 500,000 barrels a day in the past year (about a 3 percent cut).
The move away from oil will be exponential from here on out, dooming radical Islam and reversing climate change at the same time. But while we are getting new cars, we need more oil and McCain has flanked Obama on this issue. Big time.

Who am I?
That the Lord of all the earth,
Would care to know my name,
Would care to feel my hurt.
Who am I?
That the bright and morning star,
Would choose to light the way,
For my ever wandering heart.Bridge:
Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are.Chorus:
I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow,
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, you catch me when I'm falling,
And you've told me who I am.
I am yours.
I am yours.Who am I?
That the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
And watch me rise again.
Who am I?
That the voice that calmed the sea,
Would call out through the rain,
And calm the storm in me.Bridge&Chorus 2x
I am yours.
Whom shall I fear?
Whom shall I fear?
'Cause I am yours.
I am yours. -

Fred Lingenfelser: To my mind, CBS/Exxon Mobil is really throwing down the gauntlet. Mike Huckabee is not one of THEIR elite big-name Republicans, because of their desire to eliminate him from the national scene. In truth, his name recognition by now is probably second only to McCain's. However, as so ably stated yesterday by "Voice of Moderation" (6/18 2:37 pm)
"Mike H. has broken away from the supply side ideologues who trumpet charge card economics that have caused record deficits, lowering of our dollar, causing record gasoline prices. Somehow, these Wall Street credit card deficit spenders have somehow convinced Republicans that those who place a priority on balanced budgets, as Republicans used to, are no longer legitimate economic conservatives. Ronald Reagan raised taxes when deficits were becoming too great, putting economic realities ahead of ideological theory. Republicans lost for a good reason in 2006, and they had better learn their lesson of what being conservative really means, and forsake their neo-con version as soon as possible."
We need to send a strong message to Exxon/Mobil that while they may have most of the money, we have most of the votes, and they are not going to get away with this outrageous ploy to dupe the uninformed. The only chance that John McCain has to prevent Barack Obama from becoming the next President is to ask Mike Huckabee to be his running mate, and the sooner the better! In fact, it might already be too late.

If you haven't seen the CBS / Exxon Mobil poll yet, they have....of course, Mitt Romney listed first in the poll. That should be obvious that big oil would like him the most. The interesting thing is that Mike Huckabee is not listed. They have all those big name republicans listed there, but do we really want a typical republican on the ticket, or do we want someone who actually stands out as one who is not one of the elite few but instead is one of us. Mike Huckabee isn't one of the elite big-name republicans. He's something "other" than that. And "other" is beating Mitt Romney in the poll right now. Sarah Palin is also doing well in the poll. She's a great governor.

.....as a side note...yes, the fire of bigotry needs to be extinguished. I feel that is one thing that MH mentioned, that Barock's candidacy is doing ........proving Wright is Wrong about "blue eyed devils"................but unfortunately just by making these age-old yesterdays news type distinctions we automatically fan the flames of prejudicial outlooks.
When our daughter was younger we bought her Barbie dolls of all colors, making sure she had some of color too. It wasn't until school age --Kindergarten that she even heard the word Black (omitted from our vocabulary in that context Never Ever even used in reference to race or skin tone...
Yes , It wasnt until Kindergarten that she heard it and then I simply explained it was just how tan our skin got from the sun...(some more or less) True !...
I contend that If we keep making these distinctions it just perpetuates the problem. Lets all fill in multiraCIAL THE NEXT TIIME WE ARE ASKED
I do love Remembering that time when my daughter saw No Disability (she had a Downs Syndrome buddy too) and No Societal Bias and/or even distinctions...

Mr. Huckabee I think it's great that you and your wife are enjoying your stay in Japan. I spent time there when I was in the Navy. In fact I spent 3 weeks in Yokuska. I also went to Yokohama and saw the Emperors palace.
Our carrier the U. S. S. Oriskany lost a screw when we were in the Tonkin Gulf and we had to dry dock for 3 weeks to have a new one put on. Some fellow ship mates and I took a train out to Mt. Fuji and we climbed to the very top of it. We started climbing at 3 p.m. and climbed all night. I will never forget how breath taking it was when we reached the top at sunrise. It was beautiful and we were even above some of the clouds while the snowflakes were coming down. There was even a little village on top and we had a bowl of bean noodle soup.
What was really amazing was there were Japanees people climbing it at the same time with us. It was a Japaneese ritual to be on top of the mountain at sunrise. They were very nice even though we couldn't speak Japaneese we did a lot of bowing toward each other in respect I still have my walking stick that I used for balance and it was branded by the Japaneese people that were at each rest stop on each level to the top. It was 12,892 ft to the top of the Mountain.
It's a shame that you can't try it because it's a chance of a life time because you would really enjoy doing this. I know you are in good enough shape to do it but with your leg bothering you it might be difficult for you.
It takes pretty strong legs to do all that climbimg.I did it in 1972 when I was 25. I will always cherish that memory and I still have pictures to remember it by. If you can it is worth the train ride evn just to see it close. It is a magnificent sight to see.

Dear Gov. Huckabee,
Thanks for your update from Japan. As you know, they also recently suffered from a moderate earthquake in which several people were killed.
If I can suggest a candidate...? Mark Ellmore, a pro-life Christian businessman, is the GOP candidate for Virginia's 8th district, which includes parts of Arlington, Falls Church, Tyson's Corner, and Vienna, VA.
Mr. Ellmore is in the banking industry. He serves at local youth ministries and civic organizations.
Mark Ellmore is running against Jim Moran, a Democrat who has held the seat since 1990. Democrat Jim Moran is an ardent supporter of stem cell research and gun control, as well as giving illegal aliens a pathway to citizenship. When the Supreme Court said it was OK to outlaw partial-birth abortions, Democrat Jim Moran said that "A woman's right to choose was under attack." He says that a woman's decision should not be "left up to the will of idealogues."
In order to gain the GOP nomination in the VA primary last week, Mr. Ellmore had to waste precious time and resources in order to defeat a challenge by a brand-new Republican, who (after years of being an "independent") switched parties in February after being urged to run by none other than Ron Paul.
Check out Mark Ellmore for Congress '08!

I've said more than once - there are two groups of people watching this election who CAN'T vote, but we need to be very mindful of what impression we're leaving on them. They are:
1. Our children. They are watching this election really closely. They know the difference between the candidates - and with the email lies going around - they're probably quicker to figure out what the difference is. So - will their first impression of the Republican party thinks it's a big joke to depict Barack as a monkey on T-shirts and buttons or in a monkey sock doll - complete with tail? - or that makes him out to be a muslim terrorist? Or that though we celebrate the fact that America was founded by people wanting to have freedom of expression of religion - that the GOP really has NO regard for people of other faiths or those who are non-believers.
2. The rest of the world. They are watching to see if we really do respect people of other colors or faiths. Barack is a Christian - yet the prime method currently employed to destroy him is calling him a terrorist and a muslim. So, exactly how much credibility is a Republican president going to have with Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, or half of Africa - to negotiate when they're aware of the way their faith was used to destroy the opponent?
Also - exactly HOW does the GOP plan to win Michigan by talking about muslims as they have.
And FINALLY, we've had peace within our country between people of different faiths - but with much more of this, there are going to be peaceful Americans who happen to be muslims who are going to get tired of hearing Sean Hannity and others spend 3 hours a day on his program and an hour every day on TV
denigrate and smear someone with false assoications with their faith. The GOP is alienating independents and people without faith - as well as people who have genuine faith - by the bigotry we hoped was gone. I have no problem with disagreement on the issues - that's where the election needs to center. But besides losing this election, they risk losing any loyalty or respect that they should have as a legitimate party.
I was just talking to a National Guardsman who has served in Bosnia and Iraq and we talked about how the hatred got started in Yugoslavia and how it got started in Iraq between Sunnis and Shiites who used to get along in Iraq. He said it started with the media in both cases. In Yugoslavia - it was state-owned media that wanted to start a cleansing campaign. But in either case, I totally believe that Hannity and Fox are stoking the fires. Frankly - I think it would be a very interesting story to see how Americans - who happen to be muslims - are viewing the commentary that's being spewed by Fox and the emails that are going around.
This is coming from a conservative, Bible-believing Christian who used to watch Fox - but no more. Hopefully, you can have a conversation with Rupert or someone at Fox about how and why they've lost their credibility. Please try to help them to try to live up to that "fair and balanced" slogan they like to repeat.
Anyway, keep your faith first - and your politics second. I don't know if you read the CNN comments on your remarks - but you got good comments from almost everyone - from both parties.
God bless.

Thanks again for your authenticity and honesty. I am so sick and tired of hearing the demonization on Obama by people like Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and other GOP leaders just trying to scare voters by demonizing Obama. What drew us to you and to mobilize for you is the way you came accross. You didn't campaign like a tradtional politician. You were genuine and have a heart for people. As a beliver in Christ, I can't stand the dishonesty I see in the GOP campaign tactics. I started discovering this when they all ganged up against you. I don't follow a party anymore. I have convinced my wife to leave the GOP. We will support candidates who have the people's interest at heart. We are considering supporting Obama if you are not the VP. I have read Obama's plan, his tax cuts for the middle class is even better than Mcain's. Mccain has many lobbyist running his campaign. I don't agree with Obama on social issues but he is more genuine in my opinion than Mccain. McCain supports gay rights and has many lobbyist running his campaign. Obama is much more honest on the issue and talking about his not being bornagain. I wonder if anyone can truly tell me if McCain is bornagain? Concerning issues like abortion and homosexuality, I do think the Bible tells us that in the last days sin will multiply. We Christians donot need to think that the government will do our work by banning these things. We have a job to do to go out there and announce the good news. That's the way to grow the kingdom and change mindset. Both Dems and GOP leaders are politicians who follow polls to make decisions. I am just waiting and still hanging in there to hear if McCain choses Huck before I finaly make my decision.

Mike, Thank you for continuing to speak out for the respectful, clean, issue-focused campaign that both you and Senator McCain ran that made us so proud of the Republican party!!! The pundits are so out of touch with the real people in the field that I think they should get out of their offices once in a while and actually talk with some ordinary folks!! I certainly agree with you that using negative attacks will backfire! People are tired of those old tactics and they want POSITIVE change and leaders they can be proud of.....Senator MCCain and YOU!!!

Tonight, I happened to watch part of Pat Robertson’s 700 Club and Robertson said they have invited McCain to appear on the show several times, but McCain has completely ignored the invitations. Obama, on the other hand, is appearing on Robertson’s show tomorrow night. The absolute disdain McCain seems to have for Conservative Republicans and Christian Conservatives, in particular, is pretty amazing. Oh well, I never planned on voting for him anyway, so I guess I shouldn’t blame him for not even acting like he wants our votes. At any rate, that’s great news about Huck getting his own show and I will definitely be a regular viewer.
