    I love knowing that Mike Huckabee is out there being a "water conservative" and his speech was very inspiring and challenging because it shows how much needs to be done to get our country back on the right track.

    What an excellent and inspiring speech from Gov. Huckabee. I agree with his ideas 100%. I wish I were younger so that I could be more of a help in restoring the party.

    Good speech! Why didn't we see coverage of this on the news networks, especially Fox News? Seems like all I saw was Rush Limbaughwho was good also, but he is not interested in being a political candidate. We need Mike!

    This is the guy that I have been trying to get as a guest on HUCKABEE! He is young, black, a GREAT speaker and a wonderful representative for conservatives. He would make a good impression on the younger crowd and help HUCKABEE's demos if he were to be a semi-regular guest on the show....Just a thought.

    I just watched Mr. Huckabee's speech... very inspiring. This is what we need... he is what we need. He is articulate, matter of fact and makes perfect sense. He sets a good example and his idea of tax is the best I've seen. I am a small business owner... I will have to become an employee soon because I am taxed to death. I've been in business over 30 years and it makes me sad to lose my independence. Obama's war on American Values must be stopped. Mr. Huckabee, you have my support.

    In the misdst of Obamanomics that says that if we have a trillion dollar debt we can fix it by spending trillions more, in the face of the destructive and devisive Michael Steele- Rush Limbaugh dust up, its clearer now more than ever that Americans need to unite behind a truly conservative leader who will represent the values that have made our country great. This speech shows who that leader is.

    Mike is the most charismatic speaker we have in the republican party... I voted for him in the Florida republican primary and I continue to support him. He connects with everyone he meets with a charm and sincerety that is unequaled. The world thinks Obama is charismatic, but he is only style no substance. Mike has style, substance and honesty.... He is our leader and I will follow him where ever it takes me.

    Good speech Governor! I'm going to post links of it on my facebook page.

    As the country is rapidly going downhill, and a lot of people are feeling rather helpless, frustrated, angry and fearful about it, I believe that now is the time for a more ASSERTIVE sort of VERTICAL LEADERSHIP. It's not enough for conservatives (especially HUCKPAC leaders and supporters) to simply protest and lament all the "change" nor is it good enough to simply take the high road - come hell or high water, we need to go from defensively trying to preserve and hold on to our liberties, to offensively turning the tables on the opposition and showing the Republicans (& the country) THE WAY BACK UP. If we are going to succeed then we must adopt a more "offense and defense as one" sort of approach, otherwise we'll find ourselves constantly a half-step behind the circumstances and the politicians and powers that influence them.

    This open letter to Micheal Steele & Eric Cantor has some great, bold suggestions, that I think would effectively appeal to everyday Americans who are concerned about the direction that the country has taken. Just look at the appeal that Joe the Plumber had leading up to the elections and more recently, Rick Santelli's rant and subsequent tea parties.

    Got a e-mail earlier from a dear sign waving friend from the Huckabee campaign days. She was mad as a wet hornet about the Supreme court ruling once again against prayer. But I've got good news. Do you know that no one can keep you from praying. That's the most powerful weapon we have. Folks, we've only got one obstacle to overcome. We must, we must return to our Holy God. I'm ready to get out of the boat and into the water. How about you?

Yes, it is time we get our boat out of storage (conservative causes and candidates) in the water ready to work.     Great Speech Mike!
    I have had my rose colored glasses knocked off since standing on the corner a year ago during the primary with Huckabee and FairTax signs! And while you won GA, we wish the elite media like Rush and Sean had been on board too so we could've won the nomination.
    Now, I think they only wished to be "kingmakers" by blessing their candidate and sinking all others. I am glad you didn't kiss Rush's ring and bow at his feet last year. Keep your distance from him. His ideas are conservative but has become more polarizing than Newt ever was...and I think a lot of Newt too.
    Now it is time for all freedom loving Americans to unite under the only consistent conservative capitalist...who values Faith, Family and Freedom - the 45th President of the USA - Mike Huckabee!

    PS President Obama, don't company PROFITS constitute employee paychecks and taxes paid to govt? Why demonize profits? We have a special 5 letter word for the government's profits...TAXES. Repeal the income tax, bring offshore $ home and make it a FAIRTAX! But since Washington won't do it - we will!

    As usual a great speech. Certainly with an emphasis on motivation. I'm glad you are still standing on the same ground rules for the Republican party you stood for during your campaign. That being smaller gov. and doing away with the current tax system. I totally agree, Congress has just dished us out some of the biggest socializing spending ever. You are right to define it by its best name, CRAP, Congressional Recovery Action Plan.

    Clearly there is nothing but turmoil brewing on Capitol Hill. The loonies are loose. A strong percentage of the public that voted for this will see the truth of it shortly with regret. They are the ones to bring back into the fold.

    Mr. Huckabee,

    I liked your speech. I must confess that the story about the teacher receiving gifts from her students made me laugh so much that my whole household heard me. I see that you haven't lost your sense of humor.

    You have spoken the truth in your speech and I thank God that He has produced good men such as yourself and Mike Pence, who still have a sense of sanity and patriotism.

    I did regret a lot that you lost the election last year. It made me realize a lot of truth about the Republican party and our nation. The fact that the majority of the American people elected Obama helped me to realize that America has abandoned God and God is disciplining us in order to bring us back to Him.

    I am greatly optimistic that we will reclaim America for Christ and seeing you speak up there gave me assurance that our fight for traditional American values is not over. I know that eventually we will win the culture war and the war against Islamic Fascism.
