  at first, I only dedicated myself to making 20 calls...then I looked at my children, at what is at stake, especially their futures, and decided to dedicate myself to making 20 phone calls per day, with the exception of Sunday. It has surprised me the warmth of most of those that I have called. (yes some do hang up)..however, some even take the time out to thank me and to encourage me to continue. I have been pleasantly surprised by that....

  Hi all, as promised I got on the band wagon today in making calls. It was my first day and I made 200 calls. I might make a few more later but tomorrow I will also for sure. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow so I doubt I can make that many but I can for sure try. I enjoyed the conversations I had with those I could talk to, it sure makes it lots more fun.

  Keep cheering me on and wave those pom poms around and if you would like to donate I would appreciate that. My donor code is R26003

  Mom told me you were coming to Albany, GA. I'm going to take her to see you. That's the reason I visited your web-site today. I'm glad that I did. I worked for the RNC during the Presidental election, and I've been calling for Saxby using phone lists that I had left over from the RNC office. This looks like a much more interesting way to be involved. I just donated to Saxby for the 3rd time last night. We love him here in Albany. Many of us are praying for his victory, not just because he is a Republican, but because he is a good man. Many democrats have voted for him in the past. I'm hoping those voters come back to him. Unfortunately, many of the minority voters went with a straight democrat ballot. I would guess that's because Obama is directing the effort via web and cell phone. I've sent out about 200 post cards and will continue working up to the last minute. I look forward to the 29th and hope that my mother and I will be able to meet you. Thanks for everything you do. We have enjoyed every one of your shows and will be watching you for many years to come.

  I was only able to knock out 20 calls today which brings me to 80. I will definitely hit the Century mark.

  On another good note, my basketball team won today 9-3 (they are 3rd-4th graders)

  Early voting has already started in GA.

  All donations go to Huckpac no matter what Ranger code or event code you use. Jill was just asking for someone to donate to her Ranger code to give her the inspiration to keep calling. I'm sure she would have made the calls anyway, but a couple of us made donations to her Ranger code to encourage her to keep calling. She gets credit for raising that amount of money.

  If you look at MY Huckpac up in the left corner you will see there is an area to record your donations and also a goal for fundraising. It starts at $100. When you raise that much(by people using your Ranger code) you can raise the amount of your goal. When you click on dashboard there is place for you to email friends and family asking for donations which will credited to you.

  We donate to each others Ranger codes to keep ourselves motivated. Post your Ranger code here and I'll make a small donation and you get you started.

  A total of $40.00 was donated yesterday to R23777. Thanks to Sharon and Alan. Also I see that Wang, Chi-Yen said that he was part of that same donation as well. Thank-you!

  I made 100 calls yesterday. As I said yesterday that my cell phone is a tracfone and I do not have unlimited minutes. I pay as I go. My land line phone will not allow me to do telemarketing and that is what they call this. I spent a number of hours yesterday on the phone and I am depleting my minutes on the phone ........ I will need to go out and purchase more airtime as well.

  All I am saying is ..... that I am willing to make the calls and continue to do so as well as pay for my calls.

  Will you be the one to help HuckPac with a donation to keep me on the phones ?

  God knows the ones who cannot afford it, so you do not have to feel guilty.

  Joseph, when I worked the phone banks for McCain in NC a swing state the lists I found varied. Sometimes I would get a lot of fax numbers on a list, sometimes wrong numbers and sometimes I would get a list where I was able to talk to many on the list. I will say during the day many people work so many messages had to be left. I think the lists are of registered voters and things can change with people moving and such.

  I'm going to get to the phone bank on Monday but I do have some additional questions. Somewhere around here I saw a reply in which the person asked to donate and they would buy more minutes for their cell phone in which to make more calls. I didn't think that by donating it was for an individual but for Huck Pac. Can someone explain this to me? Also if someone donates to you what is meant by getting credit for it? Last question for now do they have early voting in GA or is voting held strickly on December 2nd? Thanks.
