Governor for Chip - Updated

Yes, that IS ex-Gov. Mike Huckabee making telephone calls to Republicans on behalf of his former campaign manager, Chip Saltsman, as Saltsman prepares to run for chairman of the Republican National Committee.

So what is it that "We The People" can do to help besides Blogging?

And if we do Blog what are we encouraging others to do?

It could help the RNC is someone like Chip Saltsman became the chairman, especially if Chip shares the same view as Gov. Huckabee.

In the past, the RNC has not listened, they just continue to ask for contributions. I believe mailings could considerably be cut back. If the RNC set up a web site similar to Huckpac where people can express their opinions, that would be a good first step. Currently the RNC just does its own thing.

I called the RNC during the primaries and was told they do not get involved in the primaries. This was when the RNC stopped counting delegates in the Washington State primaries.

This year I have learned how important primaries are. I liked the way Iowa does a caucus and promotes debate, town meetings. I was thinking that would be a fair way for all the states to do it. If that cannot be done then to prevent stuffed ballots, states should get in sync where only Republicans should be able to vote for Republican Presidential candidates.

I don't understand why in many states Democrats and independents can vote for the Republican nominee, other than to stuff the ballot. If we have a Republican nominee he or she should be representative of the Republican Party.

There is a lot of room for improvement and Chip Saltsman could be a good start.

There is something wrong with Trucker Randy's webpage that BDBopper created to blog for Chip Saltsman for RNC Director.

It starts to come up but there is an error. Is that just my computer, or is everyone having this problem?

My wife, Michelle, and I had the chance to see Chip in action when we volunteered in the Iowa primary for a couple of days last January. We were both extremely impressed with his charismatic leadership and would be thrilled to see him as RNC Chairman.

Go Chip Go!!! Go Chip Go!!!

If the Republican Party of Abraham Lincoln is to survive it must come to grips that he needs a major overhaul.

The RNC can continue to support Wall Street or it can be more humble and support Main Street folks.

Chip Saltsman is the man the RNC needs to lead us into the next generation and reclaim the great principles it once stood for.

This move would send signals to the American people the Republican party is serious about changing it's old establishment ways.

Let's write emails to our congressmen and women that we want Chip to head the RNC. Let's flood them with 30,000 emails tonight!

Just imagine the visionary leadership we will have in 4 years. Chip as RNC chairman and Mike as President of the United States of America! Wow!

Let's continue to grow our fan base for Mike's 2012 Presidency by joining the 2012 Huckabee Fan Club. 45 States of strong networked Huckabee Fans growing stronger and stronger everyday for Mike!

If only we could be so lucky to have Chip Saltsman as RNC Chairman. Maybe then, we would get back to what really matters and stop trying to push the Social Wing of the party out the door.

Chip Saltsman will be much more in touch with the issues modern younger voters understand that Newt Gingrich will.

We need younger blood in the RNC. My only question is: Will Chip be able to run Huckabee's 2012 campaign then?

We really need you, Chip, with Huckabee in 2012!

GO CHIP GO!!!! You were awesome in Tenn. as chairman and you with the help of Mike ;) ran the best campaign in the GOP primaries. Mike went from no chance to look out! Now the GOP has no chance and with Chip the Dems need to look out!
