Deborah: Plowing through obstacles isn't always bad. Then again, there is the case of the Titanic...
At any rate, I suggest a truce. We surely have better things to do than compare each other to lower life forms. I appreciate the tremendous efforts you have made to contribute to Mike Huckabee's cause.
One thing I would like to clarify, however, is that I never claimed to be superior because of gender or education level. There is no room for such sentiments. There is also no room for ridiculing education and achievement, as you seem to do.
However, candidates for high office are rightly held to a different standard. They SHOULD and indeed MUST be superior. Too much is at stake to hold them to any but the highest standards of intelligence, education, morality, and leadership.
I could never do Sarah Palin's job. She is clearly a very accomplished and impressive individual. So are many other people who don't have the special skills and knowledge to be a heart surgeon, an astronaut, a concert pianist...
Or President of the United States.

Hey, Dr. David & Ben Dribus:
I don't mean to ruffle your feathers!
It's just that I agree with a lot of your comments, but you poking fun of Palin literally cracks me up!
Plowing through all obstacles in the name of the Lord is exactly what the Barracuda needed to do move corrupt, unethical, insider dealer traders Frank Murkowski, Randy Ruedrich, Tony Knowles, Andrew Halcro, John Stein, Walt Monegan, Gregg Renkes out of the way.My temporary attorney boss this week is a fighter pilot from WWII. He says Obama is like Stalin and Ann Coulter is the "bomb." He doesn't like ACORNS and he has the HIGHEST RESPECT for MIKE HUCKABEE and SARAH PALIN!
This attorney boss was a wrestling champion and you better not mess with him, or he'll plow right through your nose, but he retired once and is hoping to retire again as soon as the economy gets moving again.
What a wonderful day! My signed copy of "Do the Right Thing" was on my front porch waiting for me tonight when I got home.
Thank God for courageous leaders like Gov. Huckabee and Governor Palin who fearlessly stand up for moral principles, knowing that God will bless them for their faithfulness!

Where is everybody today? Too quiet here in the blogs.
I pre-ordered Mikes book in June. It was supposed to be in mailbox yesterday. It wasn't and the Post Office can't find it. UGH!!!
If they don't find it tomorrow, they are going to refund the money I spent. Can't wait to read it.

Doctor David,
Though I might slightly disagree with you about Sarah Palin, I agree with you 100% in your description of Gov. Huckabee's book. He exposed alot of things, and did it in a very respectful manner.
I applaud your efforts in distributing this fabulous book in order to give Mike Huckabee a voice in this crucial time in our country--streams in the desert indeed!

My first two copies of Do The Right Thing arrived yesterday. I thought I would look at the first few pages, but before the day was over, had read 100. I have been following the Governor for over a year, have seen him innumerable times on TV, have heard the same jokes a few times, and pretty much thought there wouldn't be much in it with which I wouldn't already be familiar.
Yet the book had a freshness and a depth that was startling. Mike Huckabee is really a great man, folks. That easy manner and gentle humor hide tremendous depth and wisdom. It is written at a level that anyone can understand and appreciate, but contains timeless and universal lessons that are so obviously true (and so obviously overlooked by our culture) that it is amazing. The book also has vignettes of the campaign that will bring a tear to the eye of those who lived it with him from afar. And it has material on his campaign rivals that is as powerful as it is honest.
I hope President-elect Obama takes the time to read this book and makes Huckabee's ideas the centerpiece of his administration. Then we will know that Mike won the war of ideas in spite of everything. I intend to buy several more copies and see that they get into the right hands. Thank you, Governor Huckabee, for coming from us instead of to us.

Deborah in Dayton: I do know the meaning of "male chauvinist pig". It is in the dictionary right next to "lipstick on a pig".
Regarding being caged in a zoo, it occurred to me that maybe you didn't understand that my reference to gorillas was that we are on the outside looking in at them because we are smarter than the gorillas are. At least those of us who understood the metaphor!
Regarding Sarah Palin, she is a female jock. I saw film of her playing high school basketball, and she was terrific. But she is the kind of person who puts her head down and just plows forward into whatever situation she finds herself in. One can get some nasty bumps on the head from too much of that.
By the way, don't worry about not having a college degree. I once counseled college students who told me they needed to drop out because college "was interfering with their education". I had no good answer for them.
Been nice talking with you. If you don't mind, I would like to get back to what I come here for.

This is my response to the email I got from the RNC to express my ideas for the Party.
Dear Mr. Duncan and Republican leaders,Although this is a request for ideas, I would like to let you know why I at this time don't consider myself "Republican" any longer.
You and other Republican leaders have abandoned the Christian and Conservative ideals that we had agreed upon a few years back. The Republican Party shoved your chosen Republican Liberal Candidate down our throats and greatly disrespected any true conservative that showed up for the picking. You had at least two candidates that were true to their and our ideals, such as Gov. Mike Huckabee and or Alan Keys, and yet they were ignored as if they were not even a choice.
This has offended me and my family greatly. I/we realized that the Republican Party and it's leadership including you Mr. Duncan are not true representatives of Christian or conservative views.
We henceforth have made the hard decision to move on in search of an alternative in preparation for the next election season. Right now AIP is our pick and we part from the Republican Party with a sorrowful heart.
There are only a few things that would bring us back to you and this is what I suggest.
1) Immediately choose Gov. Mike Huckabee or Alan Keys as the Party Leader.
2)Give voice to our Christian views such as a request for a ban on abortion and a request for a marriage amendment to the Constitution.
3) Immediately begin an investigation out in public on the question of Obama's natural birth status as the Constitution demands. It is an outrage and dirty shame that this issue has been ignored by both Parties and all the National Media. If there is a violation of the constitution why are you not enforcing the laws on this? Obama is said to be unqualified to hold office and none of you, our leaders, have done your jobs to protect and uphold the US Constitution. Shame on you all. Force him to present to the American public his original birth certificate so that we may see where he was born and this will all go away.
God help us all

MSNBCYou have succeeded in electing your candidate, Barack Obama, to the presidency!
However, you accomplished this by diminishing John McCain’s exceptional career by questioning his abilities based on his age. You ignored the fact that he called for regulations on Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac in 2005, 3 years before they brought the whole economy down with them. You ignored the fact that McCain received $21,550 in campaign contributions over 19 years from Fannie/Freddie while in just 3 short years, Obama received $126,349 (second only to Christopher Dodd, Democrat, who received $165,400 over 19 years). You ignored the significance of McCain’s wisdom on the surge in Iraq and his courage in standing firm on this issue, stating “I’d rather lose an election than lose a war.”
You helped to elect Barack Obama by ignoring Governor Palin’s lengthy list of accomplishments as Governor of Alaska such as renegotiating all oil contracts, raising 1.5 billion in additional oil revenue & making a $1,200 energy refund distribution to each Alaska resident. (There is a reason she is America’s most popular governor). She also serves as Commander In Chief to the Alaska National Guard, the only National Guard Duty on permanent active duty. She is responsible for America's first line of missile interceptor defense that protects the entire United States. She is routinely briefed on highly classified military issues, homeland security, and counter-terrorism and before the election, had a higher classified security rating than either Democratic candidate.
However, most people don’t know her accomplishments because instead you chose to focus on convincing the American Public that Governor Palin is nothing short of inexperienced and incompetent.
You have also chosen to blatantly overlook Barack Obama’s lack of experience or achievements, his voting record to increase taxes 94 times and his ever-increasing list of questionable alliances. His campaign claims do not match his record or many of his previous statements but you gave him a free pass. You ignored how closely tied he and his Democratic colleagues were to the Fannie/Freddie collapse and that they, in fact, were responsible for the economic crisis we are in now, not the Republicans. Furthermore, if the McCain campaign tried to raise questions about Senator Obama, they were accused of being racist.
While trying to raise doubts about Governor Palin’s intelligence, you chose to ignore Senator Biden’s gaffes, too numerous to count.
You have proven to be an effective publicity tool for the Obama campaign. However, this victory does not come without a price. You’ve long since sacrificed your journalistic integrity. Now you will also lose viewers and sponsors. Consider it the American People’s version of the “Fairness Doctrine…”
We, the undersigned, commit to boycott the above listed media as well as their sponsors. We will not view these programs or purchase products/services from those that choose to support them.

Just because someone is a doctor or a lawyer or an accountant doesn't make them smarter than Sarah Heath Palin (daughter of schoolteacher and school secretary!) who obviously knows that Africa is a continent.
I will never get a college degree because I don't want to ever pretend that I'm better than anyone else because I have a certificate to prove that I can memorize minutia.
Just ask Frank Murkowski, Randy Ruedrich, Tony Knowles, Andrew Halcro, John Stein, Walt Monegan, Gregg Renkes what happens when you try to mess with Sarah Barracuda Palin.
Yeah, Barack Obama is so smart that he can't even get CIA security clearance, but Palin had the highest clearance in the land because she was Gov. of the largest state that happens to border Russia.
For anyone who wants to know the truth: there is an awesome book, "Sarah Palin - A New Kind of Leader by Joe Hilley" - Zondervan Publishing.

We can write and complain all we want here on Huckpac. That's good but I don't think it's going to make a lot of change. We need to contact our Congressmen and Senators and write to them. Below are links to locate yours for your State:
http://www.house.gov/
http://www.senate.gov/
Below is a brief email I sent to both my Congressman and Senator.I am a 59 year Republican and have voted Republican since I was able to vote. Though I'm obligate to honor and respect Obama as President because the people (however ignorant) choose. I'm concerned as I hope you are about some of Obama's agenda.
I hope you and other Republican leaders attempt to keep Obama and the liberal administration in check. It's my understanding the the Democrats have enough of the House and Senate that they can filibuster if they choose to. I don't know if you consider youself a true Conservative Republican and I don't know how many true Conservative Republicans are currently serving in the House and Senate but I'm sure you are aware that many Republicans voted for Obama because they are unhappy with their own party.
What can we do the strengthen and solidify the Republican party and return it to it's conservative platform?
I don't know if you have met and/or talked with Mike Huckabee but I believe he has the ideas needed to turn our party back in the right direction. What say ye? -

I didn't and don't vote on the basis of Race, Gender or religious affiliation (though I'd want someone with some moral principle). I'm not a racist but it get's my goat that Obama is "making history" because he's the first "Afro America" to become President (forgetting the fact that he's a half breed).
It's my desire that any man (or woman) achieve a goal in spite of their skin color not becasue of their skin color.
Do I call myself a Slovic American because my maternal great grandfather came from Slovakia? Or am I Native American because my paternal great grandfather married a Cherokee? Is my wife German American because her family from Germany?

June, the Pres elect will not produce his BC and it seems that he sealed his school records that might show the facts as well.
Many are hopeful that all this will lead to the truth about his origins as not being Natural Born as the US Constitution demands.
This is being covered up by the main media and there are not many giving any attention to it. But now the big shot are starting to get involved.
Go to the Patriotbrigade.com and listen to the program of last night. It was very informative. Obama is fighting back instead of just releasing the documents. Some thing just is not right there.
There is hope yet, but not without a cost. I am concerned that all this will hurt our nation. But what is better, Socialism or the Truth and maybe another leader.
I prefer the truth.

Deborah: In previous posts I have offered the opinion that cultural identity politics and pity over unfair press are poor reasons to support Sarah Palin. Your recent posts highlight an even worse reason: girl power.
You write:
"Greta Van Susteren or Laura Ingraham or Ann Coulter are surely intelligent enough to run for President any day of the week and any one of them have my vote hands down over ANY man in either party! But they make way too much money to put up with all the male chauvanists in the Good Ole Boys network!"
This cannot be a serious statement. It is the sort of "ra-ra, so there!" nonsense that you hear at high school football games. Besides, ANN COULTER? Are you kidding me? You want the "Romney, Romney, Romney!" girl for President? And Greta? Do you want the State of the Union address to be about Natalee Holloway?
Then you accuse Doctor David of being sexist. This is just what the liberal Democrats did throughout the election: any criticism of Hillary must be sexist, and any criticism of Obama must be racist. You are in good company there.
Since you raised the subject of gender, let me remark that it is because of female voters that Bill Clinton was elected. If female voters had had their way, we would have had Al Gore and John Kerry as well. Look up the statistics. You're on the wrong side of girl power.
Since you made no effort to answer the points some of us made about Palin’s qualifications, I won't offer any more on the subject besides saying that I find it disturbing that you would continue to support a potential candidate who doesn't know what most of us learned in junior high. Considering how much time you spend reading about politics, you cannot be ignorant of this. The only conclusion is that you simply do not care. Facts and knowledge are irrelevant to you. Palin says the words you like to hear, so you support her.
And for the record, Palin does not have a 90% approval rating. Numbers matter too, not just facts. If you want to know what Sarah Palin’s rise ultimately means for conservatives, simply remove the middle letter of her last name.

Deborah in Dayton: It's been a tough week, hasn't it, Deborah. First, I tell you to forget about trying to have the election overturned, and then I state my opinion that Sarah Palin is not as smart as Barack Obama.
Both just represent my opinions, and can be taken with a grain of salt if you wish. If you are so inclined, just forget the fact that Obama excelled at Ivy League universities while Palin attended a state university, his vocabulary and sentence structure are more sophisticated than hers, and he is less afraid to admit his ignorance when asked a question in public.
If you wish, just operate on the assumption that heart is everything, and brains count for nothing.
But next time you go to the zoo, please ask yourself why the gorillas are behind bars instead of the humans.

11/16/2008 10:16 PMDoc. David--Don't know how popular she is in your corner of the world, but in my corner, folks are hugely impressed with Sarah Palin. Many people, Christian and non-Christian, were saying, "I'm not voting for McCain, I'm voting for Sarah Palin."
She may not be your personal cup of tea, but as much as you might want to reduce her to a flash-in-the-pan, I don't think she's going "back to Alaska to be a mom."
She's on a lot of people's radar screen, and I think she'll come back stronger than ever before!
******* ******** ******* ******* *******
Donna Lee: That was so good I just couldn't resist posting it again. You go, girl!
Sarah Barracuda Palin is Ronald Reagan "win one for the Gipper" communicator extraordinaire.
Without her, Mac didn't stand a chance!
I mean, come on! Who's gonna run with Mike Huckabee next time?
Michael Steele could but he has a whiny voice.
John Kasich could but he wants to run for Ohio Governor. Go, Kasich, Go! You got my vote for Gov.!
Greta Van Susteren or Laura Ingraham or Ann Coulter are surely intelligent enough to run for President any day of the week and any one of them have my vote hands down over ANY manin either party!
But they make way too much money to put up with all the male chauvanists in the Good Ole Boys network!
I loved Sarah's spunk in kicking out the Bad Boys in Alaska and was looking forward to her kicking out the Bad Boys in Washington.
Besides, Palin has nearly 60,000 men and women in Team Sarah already. She'll probably have 60 million in a couple years!
Sarah Palin has Janine Turner, Barbara Comstock, and Jeri Thompson supporting her on the Susan B. Anthony List website. In case you don't remember your history, Susan B. Anthony was the daughter of a Judge who got thrown in jail for voting when it was illegal for women to vote. Her daddy got her out of jail, and women have been voting ever since!
We'll take Sarah Palin over Hillary Clinton any day. Sarah is a Rock Star!
Besides, if intelligence is what we were looking for, Obama is really brilliant -- a bright shining star! His buddy Rashid Khalidi was responsible for inviting Iranian dictator Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak at Columbia University earlier this year.
That was brilliant! Unheard of in American history! The next best thing to appointing the Iranian Dictator Secretary of State! His yip yap sounds about as smart as Obama and Biden's boring diatribes. Look into my eyes. I am the Messiah. Fall down flat on your faces and worship me. Vote for me because I will bring change, change, change, change, change, change, change.
I say, Keep the Change. I want Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee!

Usually I agree with 90% of what you say.
But I have to say, what? Say, what? I'm literally shaking my hand trying to get my mind around your logic.
Sarah Palin isn't intelligent enough but lawyer bamboozler Indonesian Muslim who was born in Kenya is?
Even if Obama was born in Hawaii (it should be simple enough to prove with a long-form notarized Birth Certificate), he is a schmoozing lawyer.
Trust me on this one, as a legal secretary, I can guarantee you that Sarah Barracuda has more intelligence in her little finger than any attorney in the world, especially these 2 corrupt ones.
Biden is gaffe master extraordinaire and has zero morality. Sarah Barracuda's Moral principles count for 90% of my vote.
And just in case your sexist rant caused you to not hear or listen to my humble words, maybe the word chauvanist will get your attention.
Sarah has a 90% approval rating in Alaska, the same way she had in the McCain/Palin race, the same way she has on TeamSarah.org, the same way she will have whenever SHE SO CHOOSES to run in WHATEVER Capacity SHE SO CHOOSES to run.
Come down off your high horse!
Morality, integrity, spunk, courage, grit, and winning one for the Gipper matter more than any old lawyer's fancy schmanzy meaningless dribble drabble pretend-debating skills any day of the week!
Huckabee/Palin 2012 unless the ladies of America decide it will be Palin/Huckabee!

SACRAMENTO, Calif.- A former opponent of Barack Obama's has come back to haunt him over questions regarding Obama's citizenship.
According to a press release from the little known American Independent Party, former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and other members of his the party have filed suit in California Superior Court in Sacramento to stop the state from giving its electoral votes to President-elect Barack Obama until documentary evidence is provided to prove Obama is indeed a natural born citizen of the United States.
Some conservatives have questioned Obama's citizenship in recent months. Obama says he was born in Hawaii in 1961.
Keyes also ran against Obama as a Republican for the U.S. Senate seat in Illinois in 2004. Obama won that election to serve his first and only term in the U.S. Senate.

Thanks to Deborah in Dayton Ohio at 6:19 am for brining up the Credit Default Swaps again.
I just don't know what to think. I listened to some of the Senate Banking Committee on C-Span then sent an email to 2 of the ones I heard speak, giving the links to the 60 minutes clip and the MotherJones about the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000 that made all of this mess I guess legal, or easier to get by with. The links were not accepted via the Senate email system.
I believe they should reverse what they did, but evidently there are very few that look at it as an issue. This makes me feel like I may be missing the point some where.
I still feel that 60 minutes needs to do a follow up and get the Senate banking Committee involved so we can see both sides so as to let us know if the act passed in 2000 should be dealt with (why of why not). In any case we deserve the real explanation and not just. THIS IS TO COMPLICATED TO EXPLAIN TO THE COMMON PEOPLE. I BELIEVE IT NEEDS TO BE EXPLAINED IN DETAIL, BECAUSE I AM TOTALLY CONFUSED BY THEIR NON RESOLUTION. PERHAPS THEIR FIRST MISTAKE WAS TAKING 80% OWNERSHIP OF AIG.

America’s Independent Party is THE NEW HOME OF CONSERVATISM in America!
Our purpose? The same as the stated purpose of the U.S. Constitution: “To secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity.”
That’s why we’re pro-life and pro-liberty, and will always unswervingly support a strong and secure America.
Along with the signers of the Declaration of Independence, we believe in the self-evident truth that all men are created equal, that our unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness come from our Creator, and that just government can only exist by the consent of the governed.
We call these “America’s Principles.”
We are recruiting, training and equipping a new generation of leaders – patriotic men and women who will courageously act to implement those principles.
History proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt: AMERICA’S PRINCIPLES WORK when the people put them into practice.
America’s Independent Party is committed to restoring government of, by and for the people – not just in words, but by DEDICATED, ORGANIZED, UNITED ACTION.
America’s Independent Party endorses candidates based on principle, not party affiliation. As principled Independents, we intend to change America’s political culture by example.
Like President Ronald Reagan, we firmly support a policy of Peace through Strength.
We support our troops and our veterans. We demand secure borders and a strict adherence to the rule of law when it comes to immigration policy.
We will always remember 9-11-2001, when America was attacked, the towers fell, and America’s heroes, average citizens, gave their lives to save others.
We are completely committed to free enterprise and economic liberty, and have a practical plan to restore economic prosperity, for the sake of our posterity.
Our nation’s political leaders have failed, because they have abandoned America’s Principles. A DEDICATED, ORGANIZED, UNITED conservative movement, made up of, and led by, average citizens, is the only hope that exists for saving America from the results of those failures.

FACE THE FACTS!!!
IF THE GOP HAD DONE THE RIGHT THING WE WOULD HAVE HAD A CHANCE AGAINST THE COMING TIDALWAVE!!!I think Sarah Palin should enjoy herself in Alaska, and in my opinion she is NOT and WAS NOT Presidential material and anyone who still thinks that she is or was, are only fooling themselves. If you still think she should run in 2012, you need to look at all of her interviews and really listen to what she is saying. She isn’t saying much of anything!!! That is the simple truth of it. I do think she brought out votes, but we didn’t have a choice because McCain was not our choice at all, and people wanted to be excited for the ticket. A lot of people were clinging to anything they could to stop Obama’s empty message of Hope and Change, but really folks!!! I think if people would stand back and look carefully at the big picture of really went wrong this elections cycle; it should make you all very dog-gone mad that the GOP was so desperate to keep Mike off of the ticket that they took a huge gamble and put someone that made us Republican’s look SO SILLY on as McCain’s running mate. The more she has talked since the end of the election I can TOTALLY see why they wanted to keep her mum around the media.
And I would NOT want to see her as Mike’s Vice Presidential Pick!!!
I want someone with a lot more substance and experience second in command.

Donna Lee- I agree that Palin is not a flash in the pan, but I wish she were.
In Palin, conservatives are being offered a counterfeit, and we are lapping it up just like we have lapped up the Hannity and Limbaugh koolaid for years.
"Gotcha questions" can only get you if you don't know your stuff. Mike Huckabee was asked a million gotcha questions during the primary and came through with flying colors. Palin has gotten more support because of PITY for having flunked out than Mike did for getting straight A's.
Palin's political lifeblood is identity politics; Joe Sixpack identifies with her. And he should, because she really is like him: utterly unqualified to be president.

Is there a way to just declare "credit default swaps" illegal and clear them from Wall Street?
I realize George Soros might not be happy with that, but would it hurt our 401ks any worse than they already are?
Here is the CBS video explaining credit default swaps and how they brought down the global markets.

Great job, Governor Huckabee! Janet Folger Porter was a great asset to your show! When are you going to bring Janet Parshall on?

GRANDMA4HUC2 - Concerning the dollars supposedly spent for Sarah Palin's wardrobe update (or whatever)...you might defend her by saying that the $150,000 was not from Sarah consuming it on herself, but was the cost of packaging her to be acceptable, as required by the campaign. Her packaging was paid for by campaign dollars given for all types of advertising (which includes "dressing for success). At the end of the day, she keeps nothing for herself. Compare that to Obama who took $129,000 out of taxpayer's pockets in the form of a sub-prime mortgage (of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac fame) to buy for HIMSELF a $1.5 Mansion in a real estate deal so suspicious, the feds are investigating it. But really, Grandma4Huck2, it won't matter what you say. People who voted for Obama are not thinkers, they're "feelers," and folks who believe there is no real truth (post modernism). So you can give these folks all the facts in the world and you won't change their "feelings." We live in a world gone mad, and I reckon thinkers are just going to have to learn how to live with insanity.

Doc.David--Don't know how popular she is in your corner of the world, but in my corner, folks are hugely impressed with Sarah Palin. Many people, Christian and nonChristian, were saying, "I'm not voting for McCain, I'm voting for Sarah Palin." She may not be your personal cup of tea, but as much as you might want to reduce her to a flash-in-the-pan, I don't think she's going "back to Alaska to be a mom." She's on a lot of people's radar screen, and I think she'll come back stronger than ever before.

If you really want to bring the freedom and greatness back to America and not lose our country in despair. Please join our nationwide rallies going on next Saturday, November 22nd, 2008 in 39 cities across the nation.
On this 45th anniversary of the assassination of JFK, we are organizing to show our support for what JFK so BRAVELY tried to do right before his death. END THE FED!!!
Did you know that JFK signed an Executive Order to start printing a new currency backed by silver called the United States Note. He had them printed and had just put them into circulation right before he was killed?
The Federal Reserve is a Private group of Central Bankers for profit that print our money out of thin air and charge us all interest to do what ONLY Congress was supposed to do. The Federal Reserve controls our money, our entire economy and most of our career politicians. Therefore, they control our country. Wake Up America.
www.thevaluesvoters.blogspot.com or www.endthefed.us
Help us have a large presence in 39 cities, all locations of the Federal Reserve.
We can take America back to God and freedom from greed and evil. But will you help us??? Will Mike stand up against this evil and speak at one of our rallies?

Thomas Roper: I use a wireless internet. Sometimes the signal is very weak. I should have the cable run to the computer, but we thought this was easier for the moment. The signal was coming through better at 11 pm last night. Let's keep our finger's crossed and hope for the best! :)
Gov. Huckabee had Kelsey Grammer on his show last night. Tune in on FoxNews at 8pm Eastern Time tonight. (California is at 4 or 5 pm, I think)

My brother and I earned the Eagle Awards together. For us that was a major accomplishment. One of the requirements are earning merit badges on various subjects. One of those is the "God and Country". I see on their website that they still award those. Also I see the Scout Oath still has it in it:
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.I want to start a "God and Country" movement. I believe what it happening in America is because we have left God out. That's due to the missinterpretation of the separation of Church and State.
Maybe some of you would like to share what "God and Country" means to you and what you think our fore fathers intended when they formed the idea of the separation of Church and State.
Mike, let's start with you. -

Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin are both openly pro-life. They would have God's blessing if they ran on a ticket together!
That would bring out the masses and defeat the Obama Messiah. God knows we need to rally the Republican conservative base!
