We Will Be Back In Strength

I'm very proud to have supported Senator McCain and the only regret is that more Americans didn't share my conviction that he would have made an outstanding President.  I not only recognize, but respect that we are a nation in which the people choose and tonight they have chosen Senator Obama.  He was not my choice, but he will be my President and I will pray for him to lead this great nation with God's help and grace.  He will face serious challenges to lead our country and he will need all Americans to give him a chance.

The campaign is over and now is the time for governing and leading.  The Republican Party must now reassess where it is and where it is going.  Our problem is not that our views aren't acceptable, it is that many in our party have abandoned the very principles that once drew Americans to trust us.  Our party will be back with strength, but tonight we should all celebrate the historic nature of this election and put our country ahead of our party.

As disappointed as I am that we have lost the election, I can't help but feel that many courageous leaders of the civil rights movement look down from heaven tonight with a smile that the day has come when a man is elected without regard to his color.  I salute President-elect Obama for his discipline and tenacity that has given our country the opportunity to witness this significant event.

Politics is not an event but a process. We sometimes lose the events but it never gives us the right to stop being faithful to our principles that enlisted us in the process. We shall live to fight another day.

For those who seem to have nothing better to do with their time than indulge themselves with conspiracy theories, please read the following regarding the congressional clarification of the interpretation of "Natural born citizenship":

In the Naturalization Act of 1790 Congress defined “natural born” to include children born abroad to citizen parents. Although the language was not kept in later naturalization laws, that specific language was not challenged.

Persons Born Outside the United States to Citizen Parents:

This bill clarifies that the term “natural born Citizen” includes children born outside the United States to citizen parents. This provision provides comfort and certainty to members of the American military and foreign services, as well as expatriate families, that their children, too, are eligible to run for president. These children are no less qualified than children born on American soil, and they should not be treated differently. Of course, children born to American citizens abroad would only be eligible to run for president if they satisfied the fourteen year residency requirement in addition to the “natural born” requirement.

Support for the position that the term “natural born Citizen” should include children born outside the United States to citizen parents is particularly well articulated in a law review article by Jill A. Pryor entitled The Natural-Born Citizen Clause and Presidential Eligibility: An Approach for Resolving Two Hundred Years of Uncertainty. This article argues that “any person with a right to American citizenship under the Constitution, laws or treaties of the United States at the time of his or her birth is a natural-born citizen for purposes of presidential eligibility.”

I hope this helps some to understand that those trumpeting the call for some grand conspiracy are doing so to either fill their pockets by selling books, etc. or are so delusional and rigid that they'll believe anything that is not ideologically consistent to their own narrow view. Huck represents an important perspective for America, please lets not saddle him by purporting to support such marginalized views.

Bishop Ron McRae of Anabaptists Churches of North America, P.O. Box 5607, Johnstown, PA 15937, says that Barack Obama's Kenyan Grandmother and other relatives and hospital officials say they have official documents that Obama was born in Mombasa, Kenya, but they are afraid that Raila Odinga, Obama's Communist SDS (Socialist Democratic Society) cousin will persecute and kill the Christians if Muslim Obama does not become President of the United States

"The officials in Kenya throughout the registrar’s office in both Mombassa and Nairobi have told us that he was born in Kenya, and they will tell you verbally that the records have always existed, both for Obama’s birth, and the birthing records of his mother. But the government, under orders from Barack’s cousin Raila Odinga have sealed and confiscated the files to keep them top secret. The government employees know the truth, but fear for their lives in a most serious way. Our preacher, Kweli Shububia (Swahili for “True Witness”, his name has been changed to protect his identity and safety) has already received a multitude of death threats and has fled the country for his safety. The Muslims are already massing throughout Kenya, especially around Kisumu, just as they did last December during the Kenya elections, and brandishing machetes and clubs, threatening to kill every white American and Christian if Obama is not elected President."

I wondered why Romney is so slick at saying one thing and reversing his statement 5 minutes later.

Somehow I was fooled into thinking that Romney was a businessman. Can't imagine how I missed that he was a lawyer! Romney has a Harvard law degree.

No wonder he is such a flip flopper like Barack Obama!

Romney really should give it up. He's getting way too old to run again.

I really respect McCain, but it looks like he thought he was too old to run again and that it was his turn.

We would be insane to try to elect another Washington Insider from the Senate who thinks his buddies owe it to let him run.

Does Romney think he can buy his way into the White House again? I thought his family didn't want him to run again.

Everybody on Hucks army agrees that this guy is a must have for "HUCKABEE". Please pass this along to Governor Huckabee. He is a guaranteed hit and will help bring minorities to the party.

Just after HUCKABEE's first show I posted a video off of youtube of a young black conservative speaking out for John McCain and suggested him as a guest on Huck's show. He just made a new video and, turns out John MCain was not his first choice either...Mike Huckabee was. He is VERY good and would make a very interesting guest on Huckabee. As a matter of fact, he would make a great semi-regular. He is young, energetic, enthusiasitic, very outspoken and WELL- spoken and would bring in the minority audience that the Republican party needs to build on if we are to survive. Please pass this along to Governor Huckabee. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-JTd-8vUdw

Those who think that Al Gore and his hanging chads should have won over Pres. GWBush don't realize that Bush won 30 States and Gore only 20.

Even if the national popular vote was close, Gore carried only 676 counties while GWBush carried 2,436 counties!

"Gore carried only 676 counties, located primarily along both coasts and along the Mississippi River) while Bush was the overwhelming choice of the States and of the more geographically diverse regions of the country (Bush carried 2436 counties — nearly four times that of Gore — spreading virtually from coast to coast)."

Come join the discussion on Amazon.com. Login and you can also respond to Doug Brinkley (the author of the Reagan Diaries).

US Conservative Movement Big Loser in 2008

Responding to my earlier post to Doug Brinkley about Mike Huckabee & Sarah Palin being the new leaders of the conservative movement who are following Ronald Reagan's great legacy, Brinkley is responding to me:

    Doug Brinkley says:

"He (Reagan) seems to be the only one of the faithful, with a public platform, to be speaking with such frankness...why?"

The majority of so-called American conservatives have created their own separate realities and have not integrated the total failure of the Bush Admin. into their thinking. The majority of them probably still think that George W. Bush was a good to great president---and the reasons they tend to advance for this view are usually either partisan or pitiful.

    Deborah K. Mulholand says:

The people who think that George W. Bush is a great president are the same people who think that George Washington was a great president. Both George’s felt that God’s moral principles of the “Ten Commandments” must guide our country if we expect to have God’s protection over our country.

Pres. George Washington said, “propitious [favorable] smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation which disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself ordained."

George Washington also stated, “It is impossible to rightly govern the world without God and the Bible.”

From Washington’s Farewell Address as published in the American Daily Advertiser on Sept. 17, 1796, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness, these firmest props of the duties of men and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and to cherish them.”

US Conservative Movement Big Loser in 2008

    Doug Brinkley says:

"Conservative columnist David Brooks envisions very tough times ahead for conservatives. On "Face the Nation" this morning, Brooks says the conservative movement has "no leaders," is in a "world of pain," and lacks a "coherent belief system

    JC Watts:

"We're witnessing a disturbing trend for my political party of choice, and that trend manifested itself in a significant way this past Tuesday."

"It seems that every demographic is trending away from the Republicans except for white men. That has been a very reliable demographic for Republicans, yet in Virginia, my current state of residence and a historically reliable red state, that group favored John McCain over Barack Obama by only a 50-48 margin."

    Judge Deborah’s response:

Doug Brinkley's book, "The Reagan Diaries" was an excellent biography of President Reagan's time in the White House. Brinkley captured the integrity, moral backbone, wisdom, humor, and winsomeness that helped Reagan win two American elections in a landslide. Ronnie Reagan was a leader we could all look up to because we knew he loved all of us.

Don’t be too hasty to write off the conservative Republican party just yet. Marriage Amendments passed in Arizona, California and Florida, which indicates that our great nation still leans toward the right.

Keep your eye on Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin to be the new young leaders who will regain the conservative mantle of President Reagan and bring our Republican party back to the moral heritage of our Founding Fathers, George Washington and John Adams.

The New York Times has an article about Mike launching his book tour in IOWA. They speculate that it serves the double purpose of also announcing that he will run in 2012.

There are a few comments posted there about Mike, but we could use some more! Here's what I posted:

Regarding Gov. Mike Huckabee — he is an interesting candidate. Have you noticed that some people SWEAR that he’s a liberal… while others SWEAR that he is an ultra-conservative? Don’t you wonder why this phenomenon occurs? Also… it’s interesting that he was able to earn more delegates than Mitt Romney, despite a virtual media blackout and being outspent by a factor of 10. Obviously Huckabee’s message, record, and persona must be resonating with quite a large percentage of Americans. I looked into Huckabee’s record, from his 10+ yrs as a popular governor, and it’s very impressive. People who watch his show say that he “makes a lot of sense.” He still has a 68% approval rating in Arkansas, and when he was elected to his last term, he earned 48% of the Black vote. I’ll be looking forward to watching his star continue to rise in the coming years.

Wow, Gov. Huckabee! What a GREAT line-up of guests this weekend on your show. It was fun to hear from Joe the Plumber and Tito the Builder... very inspiring to hear Tito talk about how he wanted to exercise his right to question the press without fear of retaliation. It was so moving to hear from Mr. Green about being one of the courageous "Little Rock Nine." We have come a long way thanks to the bravery of families like those.

What really impressed me about your show, though, was the bold move of having Oliver Stone. You've got some cajones to bring on guests like him, or Bill Maher, and talk to them like the human beings they are. You always treat people with respect and value, no matter where they are on the political or moral spectrum. THANK YOU for so beautifully demonstrating the right way to carry on a civil, productive discourse with those with whom we disagree.

You made me laugh when you said to Oliver Stone: "You were raised in a Republican home...but clearly, you've gotten over it." Ha!

Now the Republicans are licking their wounds, shooting their wounded, blaming their officers, and trying to figure out what they did wrong... and who should be their candidate front-runners in 2012. So far, the names I hear most often are Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Mike Huckabee, and Mitt Romney. Mike, I sure hope it's YOU.

IF it weren't for Fred ("I'm not a dead man, but I play one on TV") Thompson and what he did in the SC primary, you would have been our nominee. You would have respectfully but forcefully debated Barack Obama into the floor, and wooed over his supporters.

On Tues., Nov. 4, I worked a polling place, handing out sample ballots. One of the guys working the Democrat side was retired from the Army 30 years. He asked me why I backed John McCain. I answered that I wasn't originally a huge fan, but rather I was previously "in the tank" for Mike Huckabee. This guy said that if Huckabee had been the nominee, he probably would have voted for him. "That guy [Huckabee] made a lot of sense," was his comment. I hear that a lot, especially from people who have watched Mike's show.

Keep going, Mike! Keep on educating the public, through your TV show, books, speeches, etc. I firmly believe that most Americans who are liberal, are just the victims of misinformation and ignorance.

    Winston Churchill:

"Show me a man who's not a liberal when he's 20, and I'll show you someone with no heart.

But...show me a man who's not a CONSERVATIVE when he's 40, and I'll show you someone with no BRAIN."

    Kenneth, Patrick:

Well, we've got 8 years to unblame our-selves, so why haven't we got it?

Ask ourselves what is wrong with the leadership? What kind of people we sent to the Senate and the Presidency? If everything is so right, I'll tell you the TRUTH I will not be here today to support Mr. Mike Huckabee for what he is doing right now -- I'd better given all my money to my church who is rescueing the drug people on the street -- sometime sadly I feel there is more hope with the people behind bars than some of our ignorant Republicans.

If you think blaming the wickedness of the other party can justify where we are, so you should hang on to it, to see where it gets you!

As for me, Democracy of this Country is a very precious thing because other places in the world DO NOT HAVE IT !! I have a feeling that the governing people is abusing it!

In order to preserve the Democracy, we need ALL the parties in a HEALTHY shape to contribute different ideas different standards to the operation of this country. Right now, I can see GOP is not even healthy enough to contribute as a party. All they focus is how evil the other party is! Let me say this: who cares?! Mind your own business, do your best, work hard and let God take care of the rest! Work HARD! DON'T FAIL your promises!! Don't fail it! Don't say something just to use the Christians to support you! That would make us angry, frustrated!

We want a party who is better than just yelling "Pro-life", "Pro-Normal Marriage", we want a party who is ALSO able to send somebody to Washington who can function !!

    Is that fair?

    Fellow Americans,

I do not think the Republican party can afford to wait around until 2012 to speak up as a party again. We need to stand up and fight for conservative principles and for our Republic now!!!

By 2012, too much irreperable damage will have been done to our great country.

I propose a Republican watch dog group be formed IMMEDIATELY, STAT, EL PRONTO, BEFORE THE END OF THE YEAR!!!

I propose this group initially be comprised of all elected Republican officials in Congress who voted against the bailout(s). Presumably these same folks will vote against future bailout(s) and these useless stimulus plans that are being proposed that will only dig us further in the hole. These folks were/are brave patriots in my opinion.

The watch dog group should consist of the above-stated elected officials and other notable Americans who have nationwide credibility and are defenders of the Constitution. People like, Gov. Huckabee, Ron Paul, Newt Gingrich, Dave Ramsey, Sarah Palin, etc. The list could be quite lengthy. These few just come to mind at the moment.

This group should be formed and be called something like.....
"Constitutional Oversight Brigade" (I am sure someone can come up with a better name). We need a couple of Constitutional scholars in the group too.

This group should form immediately and come out publicly united in a planned press conference.

The purpose of the group should NOT be to oppose the new forthcoming administration just for the sake of opposition, but rather, unapologetically state they will oppose anything the new administration attempts to do that is unconstitutional and state the group intends to inform the people at large regarding the same.

The 1st Amendment (Fairness Doctrine), the 2nd Amendment (right to bear arms), future bailouts (unconstitutional to spend Federal treasure to bail out private enterprise) etc. etc.

I am totally serious about this. This group should form immediately and announce they are watching this new administration and will willfully keep the public informed with regularity.

We know at least 46 % of the American people would be grateful for such a watchdog group and I believe many would willingly support it financially.

A transparent group that will speak with one voice and encourage Americans to flood the phone lines to the White House and to elected representatives on a daily basis if need be to avert socialist policies when they attempt to implement them.

Some people were flying socialist and communist flags in Grant Park last Tuesday evening folks and no one that attended seemed to notice or care!!!

The President elect wants to MANDATE our youth serve in a civil service program. I am highly suspicious of the indocrination and brainwashing that would go on in such a program.

Obama has publicly stated he wishes to ban the manufacturing of all hand guns.

We are in precarious times. We can't wait folks. 2012 is much too late to try to take our country back. We need to be defending our country and Constitution now!!!

I am appalled so many Americans voted for someone who professes that the Constitution is fundamentally flawed and blatantly espouses socialist/marxist ideology in his writings. How is this person supposed to swear to uphold the Constitution on inauguration day when he believes it is fundamentally flawed?

I for one am not blindly jumping on the Obama socialist, liberal, bandwagon.

What does everyone think of my idea of a watch group to keep these liberal socialist wannabes in check? We know we can't trust the media to do it.

My thinking on this is in the embyonic stage, but, I would like to hear other's thoughts and get some input on the idea.

PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS? I agree we need to pray for our leaders, if for no other reason than the fact that God channels the hearts of kings; and God answers prayer. We need to pray for our enemies and to pray for our nation, for Israel was told even to pray for Babylon when they were taken there in captivity because, God said, "In it's welfare, you will find welfare."

However, Scripture also balances the responsibility of respecting authority with speaking the truth in love (and other mandates). This country was founded by people who refused to obey evil leaders when they tried to stamp out their faith. Christians in China and other countries are disobeying their leaders and having underground church services. I continue to hear preachers talk about how Paul didn't involve himself in politics; but Paul's resistance to the Judiasers, and his appeal to Ceasar, indicates to me that Paul was not about being browbeaten by government or religious authorities or about giving a lopsided mandate to Christians that left out their place in the public square. He did what he could; and in fact, his missionary journies involved much conflict with governments and religious leaders. I believe Christians in our nation have to take the whole council of God AND the difference in government structures into account. Where much has been given to "we, the people," much more participation is required of people in a democracy verses those under a dictatorship.

One other point. Right now, George Bush is our president. Obama is only an heir apparent; but until January, he has no authority here. He is NOT our President. I believe we should pray for him, but I won't allow anyone to use selective passages of Scripture to shame me into silence concerning Obama's atrocities or his right to serve as President. Be harmless as a dove...but wise as a serpent.

Many of you have expressed your readiness to support a new party. I believe real conservatives on both sides are sick at what we ended up having to choose from in this election. I know new parties are difficult...take a long time, etc. But we'll never get there if we don't start; and heaven knows both parties are out of touch with America and bent on big government and over spending. America needs real choices. Can someone start an on-line petition for a new party? If we got someone like Newt Gingrich or some past Washington Insider to help us through the ropes, I think we could get the party ready on the state and local level, and maybe on the federal level, in the next two years.

Mike, I have never been very politically minded or involved, that was until this year. I feel you and Sarah would be an unbeatable ticket, together. She grew crowds like no other did and she has good family God centered values. I look forward to working with you within the next few months to kick start your bid.

    Lola Mathuews,

I understand how you feel, and I have a good friend who almost voted for Obama because she was angry at George Bush because Roe V Wade has not been overturned in the 8 years he was in office.

And indeed it does seem as if no elected official really wants to overturn that law, but in defense of Pres. Bush, he really did all he could do when he appointed Samuel Olito and John Roberts to the Supreme Court. That was really all he could do as it is the the Justices of the Supreme Court who has the authority to do this.

The issue of abortion is alot like everything else that needs to be changed. It is so important, therefore, that we pray that God will change the hearts of the people. This is the only "real" change that I know would work.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister; Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

Pray for me. I didn't use to vote because I didn't think it did any good. They were telling us who was going to win way before election day.

I was one of them who came out for Bush because they were trying to take God out of everythink and I'm pro life. Well, we put him in the White House with a GOP Congress. Here we are 8yrs. later and we are still killing babies. I don't think they either Party wants to do away with abortion. They use it to thin out the population. They don't want to make Fornication, one of God's laws, against the law, to stop it at the source, so they kill the baby. All they want is our vote and they will offer us anything for it but they will never do it.

If they ever do offer a anti abortion law they will go to the extreme and say not even to save the mothers life, so the people will vote against it.

God bless! Your sister in Christ!

    Republican Principles

    I'm a Republican Because...

I BELIEVE the strength of our nation lies with the individual and that each person’s dignity, freedom, ability and responsibility must be honored.

I BELIEVE in equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, sex, age or disability.

I BELIEVE free enterprise and encouraging individual initiative have brought this nation opportunity, economic growth and prosperity.

I BELIEVE government must practice fiscal responsibility and allow individuals to keep more of the money they earn.

I BELIEVE the proper role of government is to provide for the people only those critical functions that cannot be performed by individuals or private organizations, and that the best government is that which governs least.

I BELIEVE the most effective, responsible and responsive government is government closest to the people.

I BELIEVE Americans must retain the principles that have made us strong while developing new and innovative ideas to meet the challenges of changing times.

I BELIEVE Americans value and should preserve our national strength and pride while working to extend peace, freedom and human rights throughout the world.

FINALLY, I believe the Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.

In Case You Missed It: FBI Asked Questions On Rezko Land Deal, Washington Times

"A former Illinois real estate specialist says FBI agents have questioned him about a Chicago property that had been bought by convicted felon Tony Rezko's wife and later sold to the couple's next-door neighbor, Sen. Barack Obama.

The real estate specialist, Kenneth J. Conner, said bank officials replaced an appraisal review he prepared on the property and FBI agents were investigating in late 2007 whether the Rezko-Obama deal was proper.

"Agents and I talked about payoff, bribe, kickback for a long time, though it took them only a short number of minutes of talking with me while looking at the appraisal to acknowledge what they already seemed to know: The Rezko lot was grossly overvalued," Mr. Conner told The Washington Times Monday.

"Rezko paid the asking price on the same day Obama paid $300,000 less than the asking price to the same seller for his adjacent mansion," he said. "This begs the question of payoff, bribe, kickback."

In a wrongful-termination complaint filed last month in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Mr. Conner said his appraisal of the Rezko property, held in Rita Malki Rezko's name, was replaced with a higher one and he was fired when he questioned the document.

Mr. Conner, a former real estate and commercial credit analyst at Mutual Bank Corp. in Chicago, noted in the complaint that the bank received a grand jury subpoena in October 2006 requiring it to produce information concerning Mrs. Rezko's purchase, including the bank's files on the property.... As a legal secretary who understands a little bit about the Constitution and the USC (United States Code) and how the courts work, I believe that John McCain was definitely an American citizen eligible to run for President.

Obama is a whole different matter. Only the U.S. Attorney General has the standing to challenge Obama's citizenship, so if the Attorney General fails to do so, the American citizens are out of luck unless they can get Congress to prosecute.

I'm not sure we'll have much chance of that until 2012 unless Obama goes really overboard in leftist policies. It sounds like Obama is going to try to change over 100 things under the radar in his first official act and hope nobody notices.

Here is the information I found regarding natural born and naturalized citizens and how this pertains to elibility to run for President of the U.S.

Newsweek announced today that they had a gag order to not reveal anything they learned while they were embedded in the Obama campaign.

Now they are revealing that Obama watched them constantly and that they felt a creepy aura that seemed almost cultlike about him.

    Whew! That is creepy.

Even Carl Cameron said he knew about the gossip about Sarah Palin but was not allowed to talk about it until after the election was over.

I understand not passing gossip without verification, but don't news reporters have an obligation to report things they know for the protection of the American people?

Why was the media blocked by Obama's laywer team with lawsuits that would not allow certain things to come to light until after the election?

    Please Mike,
Can you give us specifics on what we need to revamp or rebuild our party? How can we tell who is not truely representing the values of Consevative America.
I know we are to honor and respect our (groan) elected President for the next four years and I know there is not a whole lot we can to with a Democat majority in the Senate and House. I understant they have almost enough for a filibuster so there may be little that our true Republican leadership can do.
The only thing I know to do is pray but little else. If you read these comments on your blog site, you know that people are angry and hurting. Their trust has been betrayed by their party. I do know that we need your guidance and your commitment for 2012. Of course if the rapture takes place that will not be necessary but until that happens we must stay strong.

We CAN NOT allow ANY person to become our President that does not qualify based on our Constitution as it is supposed to be the supreme law of our land. It is bad enough that it has been trampled all over blatantly in the last decade. They have gone WAY too far! If we do not voice our discontent and a cry for justice, then ANYONE can become President and do whatever they want to.

Roper, you are right! We HAVE TO BE back with STRENGTH !! If not, this country would lose one party and we would be a lame duck with only one party and no balance!

But to say NOT TO WORRY about Bush, McCain & Palin is not quite right. Can we endure the pain of examining all the facts HOW WE GOT THERE/HERE (the pit)? Can we painfully face it? Can we IDENTIFY the REAL PROBLEM? Can we be brave enough to say to ourselves we would not go there again, for the sake of the country, for the sake of next generation, and forget about the party people?!

    1. Out of touch with Reality -- Priorities screwed up.
The public feels the GOP is out of touch with the real-ity, not knowing how everyday people work, struggle, trying to survive every bill and therefore to the public, GOP's PRIORITIES are all screwed up!

    2. the quality (honest or complacent? hardworking or lazy?) of Republican candidates sent to the Congress which constitute the direct influence on the direction of the country.

I hope the representatives we send there are graceful to the opposition party yet not complacent to the decisions that would hurt this country. Integrity counts! Bravery counts! Honesty counts! I hope our representatives are HARDWORKING, smart & be a creative diplomat and problem solvers. I hope our representatives quit demonizing the other party, instead, make decision based on facts and fruits of the spirit.

All these above take a very intelligent, devote person to be a good representative, and that is our strength! No more nonsense! No more whining about how evil how wicked the other party is! We make decisions based on facts, not based on making the other party look bad! If we did not learn that part, that means we have NOT LEARN anything from our defeat! And history will repeat itself again!

Work hard! Learn the Facts! HUNT for the truth about EVERY motive. For the truth shall set you free -- free from being used by the wrong thing! And you are back to be in touch with reality which is the first requirement for being a good politician!

PROOF OBAMA WAS BORN IN KENYA:

Obama was born in Kenya, yes it’s TRUE. And the recent press release about the Hawaiian officials claiming they “hold a copy of Barack Obama’s birth certificate,” means they only “hold” his real certificate, after it was transferred there to RECORD HIS BIRTH IN KENYA. Hawaiian officials were very careful with their words, they did not confirm the certificate they hold is in fact a LIVE BIRTH CERTIFICATE VERIFYING HIS BIRTH IN HAWAII. NO! They will only confirm they “hold his original birth certificate.” [and the one THEY HOLD IS FROM KENYA.]

    Roper, Thomas,

Grace, peace, prosperity and joy be multiplied toward you.

I also have had seasons in my life where it just seemed that that old Devil is kicking me while I am down. Years ago certain events in my life lead me to a state of homelessness and yet I was a "faithful" Christian for years before that. Through some bad decisions that I had made and the Devils use of others I suffered much for a season.

I so bear witness with you on some of these things and on others I can just ADMIRE your perseverance. Many others as well as my self can be awakened from our stupor to get our priorities right. Thank you my brother for pressing on.

Years ago I was sitting in the living room of a couple that rented a space in their apartment to me. As I wept while starring at the mattress with a hole in the center of it, the Spirit of the Lord asked me a question. Why weepest thou? He said. My life then flashed before me as though I was asking God for some sympathy.

The Lord then began to remind me that I have been fully equipped to do battle and fight the good fight of faith.

He said, you are an Ambassador for my Kingdom and you are to occupy and take over until I return.

This lead me to my senses and I began to take up my weapons of warfare to pull down the strongholds in my life, that had gotten me to this pittiful place in "my season" of trial. What I have noticed is that if you where to see my life now you would think that all that was a distant dream, because the blessings have come my way and over taken me.

Yes, Thomas I too, have lived as faithful as I know to in my Christian walk , however, the Lord showed me that the Kingdom of God suffers violence because the violent take it by force.

Think for a moment how Jesus was violent enough to cause even the winds and seas to obey him. I submit to you my brother that in His passion he did only what the Father said do and said only what the Father said to say.

This made Him live free, not from trouble, but from the effects of those troubles and "the circumstances".

When I had nothing, I found that being a child of the Kingdom of God, I had to learn to live by the principles of that Kingdom to be successful. I remember walking the streets and finding a coin here and there and remembering the principle of increase. "Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down and shaken together shall men pour into your bossom." I kept those coins and made it a point to save them for the next time I went to church. Let me say as I like to say often, the rest is history. His Word works, when we work it.

When my present wife and partner in ministry was visited by a spirit of Cancer and one that was incurable, she was sent home to die. Once again we remembered the principles of the Kingdom of God and found out that Mark 11: 23- 25 applies to this as well. Today she is healthy and whole nothing missing and nothing broken.

With this political season and the birth pains that we are seeing we must remember to live by the principles of the Kingdom. Let me share in brief what I mean. I have a fellow in my small but growing congregation that was told he is in stage four of cancer in his body. I have helped him fight the good fight of faith with the same principles that Jesus tought. He called his health that was not, as though it was. He began to act like Jesus and say what the Father said about him and do what the Father said do, that is, live by the principles of Love, giving, speaking the desired end result and guess what?

Wouldn't you know he has mistefied the Doctors. He looks healthier than most and is worship leader in the church. The main or center of that cancer has shrunk and soon will be gone. Others have had much less and well you know.

I will let you go for now.

Thomas my prayers are with and for you and yours. If your ever in the Harrison, NY area on a Sunday come and visit with us.

Apparently their are more people than I thought that fell for the lies that the Democratic party spread.
Bush was not and is not the problem. I didn't always agree with what he has done but he is not the source of the problem.
The last four years we had a democrat majority in the house and the senate and we had some moderate or liberal Republicans that sided with the Democrats on many issues and we are blaming everything on the Bush Administration?
Let's quit worrying about Bush, McCain and Palin and work on an agenda for 2012. We need to do some house cleaning and build a new Republican platform and see is Mike is willing to lead us on. He HAS said "we'll be back in strenght".

I'm sure I've said this before, but half of this country just elected 2 lawyers who happen to both be senators!

That boggles my mind! If the Senate lives in another world, spends everyone else's money, and does not listen to anyone, votes themselves payraises, are Washington Insiders and apparently don't have a clue as to how we create jobs, they why would we put 2 of them in charge?

As a legal secretary, the really sad thing is that the 2 leaders of the free world are attorneys!

Neither one are evangelical Christians with even half a conscience, so why would we believe anything they say?

Did anyone really believe that Obama would cut taxes on anyone for the next 100 years?

I know we need Vertical Politics and Unity, but I just don't get it. I just don't get it.

I sure hope I can wake up tomorrow and this election was all some very ridiculous dream.

Hillary Clinton and Mitt Romney are finished in the GOP.

They simply could not get the grassroot voters to donate enough money.

If you have to buy the White House with your own money, the people are not behind you.

Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee were the ones who had the momentum and were drawing the crowds.

The GOP is looking for younger leaders with dynamic ways of presenting conservative ideas.

Mike Huckabee's polling chart during the primaries looked like a Nasdaq tech stock.

Sarah Palin has a very great following through Team Sarah and is like a Republican rock star.

New younger GOP leaders are coming forward like Eric Cantor, Bobby Jindal, Michael Steele, among others.

I heard today that Michael Steele is being put forward as the new GOP leader.

We are looking for the FairTax to change the GOP and our economy.

I can't imagine Romney ever getting on board with the FairTax, but regardless, we are looking for younger, more persuasive candidates.
