If you saw the final debate, it was obvious that the real winner was neither John McCain nor Barak Obama, but Joe the Plumber. Joe will be my guest on this weekend’s “HUCKABEE” on the Fox News Channel at 8pm ET; 7pm CT on Saturday and repeating Sunday. You don’t want to miss this!
We’ll also have Rev. Al Sharpton, country superstar Aaron Tippin (along with the Little Rockers), and much more.
I was able to visit with Joe last night by phone and can’t wait to visit with him this weekend because he is the kind of person we ought to be listening to far more than the professional pundits and political spinners.
Please email all your family and friends—send notice to everyone on your email list and tell them to watch the man America is talking about---Joe the Plumber!
God bless,
Mike Huckabee

well mike, congrats on what we have found to be a real fresh piece of honest subjects. i must tell you i am currently and always have been a democrat. but i admit, at 56 i still do not have a ged, went to work when i was 15 to help my folks in 1967. being an intelligent woman, i have always made my way thru life, single mom of 2. i worked 2 jobs, providing structure, love, encouragement, healthcare thru my job for my kids. well my point being, i missed my senior year of high school, my government class. so i have innocently been a part of a party of socialism...which by the way i always made 100$ a year too much for even section 8, but if i would quit my part time job {clinton then in office} they would help me. well that didnt sit too good with me, and i politely refused their help, but not until i had told her how stupid that was, and this is a problem in america, you wont help a woman trying as hard as she can, . mike i have written a song for john mc cain, it's VERY patriotic, respectful, full of knowledge for americans, well to put it short, i prayed for this one..for the words. i caught aaron tippen on your show, and being a songwriter myself, i thought maybe he or hank jr. could grab my pieces of paper and real quick get it produced. time is prime! i want to donate it, if it makes some money, let it be for our war hero's, for they each and every one own a piece of my red white and blue heart. well i have received my diploma in gov. now! i tried to email our dear senator mc cain on his birthday, his palin shining day! to not only give him my vote, but when i am allowed to reregister, the republican party will have a new and proud member!this ticket feels right, it feels ALL AMERICAN to me, you know like our country is just fine, what you want to change about it so much?this election is all about country first, and if this was september 12, 2001...a guy like obama would not stand a chance! wake up people, and mike i promise you this song says it all. please help me to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of all of those i love in our service life, past and present.and once again mike, your show is uplifting in so very many ways, and i have a gracious heart for you too. sincerely, carol bidleman

A TRAVESTY FOR AMERICANS IF OBAMA WINS:
This is for the nasty, Obama supporters who have marginal intellect and feel John McCain
was a failure, and terrible at his job in Vietnam.
Men and women who served our country, and
served it well, while others before and after
him did not get their chances to live and tell.
Obama's win would be an unfortunate travesty
for Americans. He goes against the grain of this
country! While sitting in front of you TV's, not
working and waiting for "the spread of wealth". Obama (Hussein) is one damn lucky
recipient, of the crap; handed to you by
all blood - sucking liberals, who feel you are
incapable, to make your own decisions through a lack of your own choices. All of you
are so misguided, lame or lack of a brain. And
so I ask; is this a cultural epidemic?

Joe The Plumber--Meet Chris The Carpenter
My name is Chris. I am a carpenter. I live in Central Indiana. After two years of kicking around after high school at deadend jobs, my Dad convinced me to join a union construction apprenticeship program. I looked at a couple different ones before deciding to join the Carpenters Union. It was a four-year program and I was fortunate enough to secure work most of that time while going through the program to get "on the job training." I graduated from the apprenticeship in 1983 and began my career as a journeyman carpenter. I worked for 4 or 5 different contractors over the next several years and made a pretty decent living most of the time.
In 1996, two buddies and myself decided to start our own company. We were just ambitious enough to try and just ignorant enough to not understand how difficult it would be. We worked our regular jobs during the day and worked at "side jobs" in the evening and on weekends. All money that was made on the side jobs was put into an account that we set up with a goal of enough money to support our families for 3 months before we quit our regular jobs and went full time on our own. That plan ultimately took 8 months and only 2 of us went full time. The third held on to his job for two more months before he joined us. We still worked days, nights, weekends, whatever it took to get the job done and try to build a reputation in the market. We went without health insurance for a while and took minimal paychecks.
Slowly the company started to grow. It's been 12 years since we tried that and we now average 20-26 employees per year. We've had 42 at our peak and when work gets slow, we have gotten down to 8 employees. We employ union carpenters and drywall finishers. They receive healthcare benefits and enjoy a pension plan.
Now trust me when I say this. This ain't cheap! Our employees cost us approximately $44.00/hour package cost after you factor in health care, pension, workman's comp., liability insurance, unemployment, etc. I will ask you again to trust me when I say this as well. We don't make a quarter of a million dollars apiece either. The fact is, we don't make the $44.00/hour if you figure our hourly wage considering the fact that the 40-hour work week went away when we stepped into this whole thing. We don't get to just call it a day when 3:30 pm comes around like the guys do. But I'm not complaining. Just explaining.
Now the quarter of a million mark wouldn't really be that hard to meet. I can't speak with any first hand knowledge, but being on the inside looking out, I can say with much certainty that there are people in our line of work that do much better than we do. And I think $250,000.00 is quite obtainable. See, as a union contractor we are obligated to pay the union benefits and wages that our contract states but if we were a non-union contractor we could get by a lot cheaper. Now I know there are some standup non-union contractors that pay a good wage to their employees, offer health care and a 401k etc. But those guys know, as well as I do, that there are those out there that take advantage of people and don't do things on the up and up. I know because I see them on a regular basis on jobs throughout central Indiana.
I'm talking about the elephant in the room in the construction industry. It works like this. A guy secures a contract to do a job--say, roofing, masonry, ,landscaping, drywall, whatever. He then purchases the material and he finds a labor broker. This is usually a legal immigrant that can speak English and knows a lot of other immigrants who need jobs, are usually illegal and have little or no English skills. They will work very hard and they are very reliable. AND, they work very cheap. Now the contractor knows what the labor rate runs and he can charge just a little less than we do or what the legit non-union guy does. He then sub-contracts to the labor broker who then sub-contracts to the illegal immigrants. This is all done on a piece meal basis. In other words, a set amount is paid for the installation of the product, i.e.; 15 cent/square foot of drywall or 45 cents per concrete block. This way, the price is set and the contractor and the labor broker can't lose. It's up to the actual worker to bust his butt to make any money because he only gets paid for the set amount of material in the job. And it's pennies on the dollar compared to the wages my guys get or the good non-union contractor employees get. The contractor then gives the illegals a 1099 form instead of paying the taxes, workman's comp., insurance, not to mention providing a safe environment--and the workers don't worry about it because they won't file taxes anyway. They work very, very cheap because the broker knows they won't say anything if they want to keep their job because there is a whole line of people ready to take their place.
Just recently, a small hotel was being built just West of Indianapolis and the floor covering was contracted this way or something similar. On a Saturday, workers were stocking material using a forklift that was supplied by the General Contractor. The workers tied a box to the forks and was using it as a man lift to get material to the second floor. (Totally against OSHA regulations) The box broke loose and two workers in the box fell to the ground. It was a father and son. Illegal immigrants from Mexico. The boy was 14 years old. Both died. This is not an isolated incident. If these workers were fortunate enough to live and only receive serious injuries, this story would never be told because they would be whisked away and 2 more put in their place. There has been no followup story to the contractors on this project, and I'm sure that somebody got in trouble. But those lives are lost forever. And the work will be done in this manner over and over again because nothing is being done about it.
I hope you all understand that I'm not putting the blame on the illegal immigrants. I understand their plight. If I had to feed my family and I could make money to do that in Mexico, I would be there in a heartbeat. The blame is to be placed on the employers that take advantage of these people so they can line their own pockets. I'm not trying to solve the immigration problem right now.
I'm trying to show Joe the Plumber that it's not as glamorous as it looks. So go ahead Joe, buy that company. Run a legitimate business. Put in the hours to make it work. Build yourself up to make that $250-300,00.00. Believe me, if I get to $300k, I'll pay the 4-5% extra taxes and never blink. But how much are you going to be paying the people that got you to that level? You gotta pay them a decent living wage too. You'll never do any of it without good employees. So you gotta spread the wealth with your employees first or you'll never make it as an employer.
So, go for it Joe!! See ya on the jobsite, huh?

Joe the Plummer is every American that works for a living, and is striving to better his life.
It was great to have him on your show, and to have him contribute to more than just his interview segment, showing that every American can contribute to more than one subject, and is brite enough to know the difference between reality and bull.

I guess I don't understand the Joe the Plumber controversy. Like most people, I never heard of Joe until the third debate, when John McCain introduced him as the kind of person that Obama's tax plan would hurt. As I understand it, McCain incorrectly reported during that debate that Joe had a "small business" that would be penalized by Obama because it made more than $250K per year. Only later did it come out that Joe did not have such a business, and made nowhere near $250K per year. Thus, Obama's tax plan would in fact not penalize Joe the Plumber, as McCain had claimed.
Yet all I hear now is that the liberal media are destroying Joe the Plumber because they have hastened to point out that his given name is not Joe, he is not a licensed plumber, and he is behind in his own tax payments. Could someone tell me what I am missing in this story?
I think the real crime is that 99% of all Americans don't know what either McCain's or Obama's tax proposals really are, and the media are in no hurry to let the American people know what they are so they can make intelligent judgments about them!!

Some very scary thoughts about the security of this country in an Obama presidency. Loss of gun rights, lax border security and giving driver licenses and health coverage to illegals, pulling funds from our military....NO WONDER Biden thinks we will be attacked with Obama at the helm!!!

My husband is a plumber in small town Iuka, Ms. he makes over $250,000. Where does Obama get his information? My husband has worked hard for his money. most of the people under him don't have ambition to go out and start their own business. Being a small business owner, you have so many expenses. Fuel#1, paying healthcare premiums for employees#2, and repair on equipment, and work vehicles. Even though, my husband makes this money, we don't see but maybe a fourth of it. We are just an average middle class family!

Great show! I thought Joe did very well on his first appearance. We certainly appreciate him stepping forward and sharing his views because they relate with most of America. Al Sharpton actually suprised me, I thought he would be a little defensive since his guy is tied into the contributions you mentioned. But as always, you were nice and curteous and funny. Aaron Tippin was fantastic! The song really got me juiced! Drill here and drill now!

What a great show, Governor Huckabee. I missed part of it on Saturday and was sure glad to get to see the entire show after worship Sunday night. I'm glad that you had an exclusive interview with Joe the plumber. The Wall Street guest was great as well. Oh, and I LOVED listening to the Little Rockers with Aaron Tippen. Wow. That was so cool. I LOVE YOUR SHOW! It's the only show I look forward to every week. Keep up the great work. The elderly ladies at church love your show, too!

Barack Obama claims that he is the candidate that is for the middle class, but his own words reveal the level of disdain that he truly holds for hard working people of our country.
Barack Obama has just recently ridiculed Mr. Joe for challenging him on his positions, but Mr. Obama's statements are factually incorrect. Obama has stated that he "doesn't know of any plumber that is making $250,000 a year."
The problem is that Joe never said that he made $250,000 a year. HE SAID THAT HE WAS CONSIDERING PURCHASING A BUSINESS THAT MAKES A PROFIT OF $250,000--$275,000 A YEAR.
This means that Joe the Plumber is an average worker who is simply CONSIDERING purchasing a business. As, such he would be making an average worker' salary.
This means that he would have to secure a small business loan (much more difficult considering the current economic climate) somewhere in the range of $500,000-$1,000,000 (if cash flow was at $250,000) and pay it off on a monthly basis. Because the loan factored in with additional business costs would demand a considerable amount of money, additional taxes would further burden the businesses operational budget, thus resulting in having to cut jobs, etc.
Barack Obama's statements are in keeping with his socialistic philosophy--as he seems only to champion the middle class as long as they don't seek to better themselves--ie, improve their earning power/make the leap from workers to entrepenuers. Barack Obama's statements reveal that he really doesn't have any respect for the middle class--only a plan that makes it harder for them to move up to the next level of success--and a sense of entitlement that will encourage them to be complacent in their endeavors, thus increasing government dependency.

I just don't understand how Senator Obama can tell Joe to his face that he doesn't want to penalize his success, yet in his campaign rally the next day makes personal attacks on him. He asserts that a plumber can't make $250,000/year. Why is it wrong for Joe, or any other business owner, to want to make $250,000/year for their business? If he hires a few plumbers to work for him, $250k/year is certainly reasonable.
My small business doesn't make $250,000/year, but I sure hope to one day. I pay a ridiculous amount of taxes already, how is it fair for me to have to pay even more? -

Excellent show tonight!
Clear understandable commentary on how the economy/raising of taxes affects small business and diminishes the job market.
Joe comes across as just that “a regular Joe.” He said he recently received full custody of his son. No wonder he didn’t have the money to pay all his taxes. I believe America looks with understanding and admiration on Joe and his family.
Canadian woman hit the nail on the head. Tell it like it is!
Great counter to all the Bush bashing! GWB has handled it with a great deal of strength, leadership and class.
Truth is paramount in your show.
Keep up the good work and congratulations!

Hey Mike,
Loved the show!!!!!! It was the best yet! I think Joe the Plumber is one smart man. I feel bad for him because he seems to have strong opinions and doesn't like to be in the spotlight so now all his opinions is under scrutiny by the liberal media. I am glad you got to be the one to interview him because you were fair and showed some compassion for the guy. I also loved Aaron Tippin. Keep those country guys comin'. Except, the LittleRockers rock and pretty much will be rockstar status in no time! :) I loved how you ended the show with your opinion and it was a great speech about how you went to church and everyone wasn't hiding under their chairs because of the recent economic crisis but were joyous and that we should always remember that things won't make us happy but life will and doing things for others. I loved that and it was so inspirational.

On your show 10/18/208, a Canadian woman’s observation and question mirror the same asked of me by a woman who recently moved here from South Africa….Why do Americans dislike their president so much and blame him for the economic situation when it was democratic Congress and House which are at fault.
The gentleman known as “Joe the Plumber” has been treated so horridly for asking a simple question. When candidates are asked questions and have to answer without their answers prepared for them, the truth begins to come out.
One question people should be asking Obama is how long his tax package reduction is going to last. Is it one time? Is it yearly? Specifically how long. Why should hard working individuals be punished for making a good living. Why should Obama decide how much of people’s incomes they need to live on and how much he should take to “pass the wealth around?”
We are on the verge of an election with so many serious and important things at stake. The #1 history making issue should be
re-building America and have nothing to do with gender or race. America is and should be first and foremost.

To all Christians! This should be our battlecry!!!
(I was emailed this just last night. Please read and ACT!!)
From: Elizabeth Rohn-Nelson
Subject: Prayer Can move moutains, why not Obama?"Being dismayed recently when a family member of mine said to me with great resignation that Obama will take the presidency. These words came from someone who in the past has been a great prayer warrior.
'What is happening?'-was my question. Why are we Christians settling and not issuing a battle cry and falling to our knees and taking our country back?
We allow ourselves to be stripped of the right to pray at school functions and in school; we have the 10 commanments removed from government places and are told we cannot pray in school, all the while providing public prayer places for Muslims. What in the world is going on and why are we being apathetic?
Why aren't we praying? Our God is a mighty God who is waiting patiently for us to raise our voices to heaven to stop the tide of the anti-Christ actions in our world today. Now we find we have a charismatic candidate for president who does not respect our flag and refuses to wear one on his lapel except when it becomes politcally expedient and whose own wife and pastor that he loves profess to have strong anti-white feelings, and we sit back and say 'it is a given, we can do nothing.'
There has never been a time in 2000 years that we can do nothing, never a time that we must sit back and allow the evil in men's and women's hearts to take over our world. We should be very afraid because our apathy is leading us to perdition.
It is time for ALL CHRISTIAN AMERICANS to RAISE THE BATTLE CRY and TAKE OUR NATION BACK!!! Maybe McCain on his own cannot defeat Obama, but our God can and He will if we take to our knees in prayer and raise a mighty cry to the heavens to "Save us O Lord". We have the power to change the course of this election and to keep a man as suspect as Barrack Obama from leading our country to who knows where with his message of 'change'-a change which, I fear, will be away from our Christian ideals and away from Christ and further away from 'one nation under God'.
We are great at passing stories and pictures around the internet, but where are our prayers and prayer warriors praying to stop this tide of Barrack Obama? God parted the Red Sea; Jesus was raised from the dead; and we can bring our country back to its Christian roots and stop the move to the rise of Muslims in our country. We can stop our country from being 'under Allah', but we must begin to pray; to pray as if our country and our lives depended on it, because they do. We can stop all these atrocities against God's commands that have taken root in our country through something as simple as sincere praryer, as a call to God to deliver us, to forgive us our sins of apathy and to protect us from the evil that is upon us.
Okay prayer warriors, here is your challenge..start those prayer chains. Get the spiritual power working on our behalf and stop Barrack Obama the proper way, by calling on our God to save us from the deception that charismatic preaching is using to lead us on the wrong path. Stop those who would take God out of our country and our government. Raise up good men to lead us and protect us!!!
George Bush is being buffeted because he has fought a holy war against the evils that attack us and we should not be surprised because a prohpet is not honored in his own country. But, we should not rest on our laurels and allow ourselves to be taken further off the path of Christianity and he have God removed from our presence in our schools, courts, government and businesses. Invite God into the fray. Ask that His power rest upon us and give us the victory. Ask him to raise up a MIGHTY ARMY to defend us and to protect our country as He did in days of old. Let us be victorious beginning NOW! The battle is His but we must call on Him without ceasing and uniting our voices and hearts in prayer and fasting.
Please pass this around to ALL people of prayer that you know and maybe, just maybe, a more eloquent person of prayer will write something better and more inspiring and even the rocks will shout that JESUS THE LORD and our MIGHTY GOD is with us, bringing the victory for us and ultimately for Him!!'
Our Battle Cry should be the assembling of the millions of Christians in this country who know in their heart that Barrack Obama should not be elected. He stands for everything that is wrong and nothing that is right in our beliefs as Christians. We should join hands with those of all true Christian faiths and stand strong and UNITED and vote for the only other candidate that comes close to representing us in this election...and that is John McCain! STAND UP!! STAND UP and be counted as a representative of your true, Christian faith!! We MUST NOT ALLOW BO to become president!!

I also thought last night's show was your best so far. The discussions with Joe the Plumber on why Obama's tax proposals will not help job creation, and with Al Sharpton on voter registration fraud were educational and enlightening. I was very proud of the sensitive and understanding manner with which you interacted with Joe - that was Huckabee at his lovable best.
I think your show will be optimized when it can appeal to all Americans, Democrats as well as Republicans. I hope you can remain above partisanship as much as possible. Vertical politics is what has made you so special.

Bandit in Florida asks.........
How about Don, the Old Hog Farmer?
He has worked since he was a young boy in the sticky, dirty, smelly fields and
buildings. Freezing temperatures in the winter, hot in the Midwest summers, rain
or shine, sick or tired it didn’t matter the work always had to be done. Relaxation came on Sunday mornings when his family went to church and then ate lunch, and then it was back to “chores”. Now at 79, my father coughs from inhaling the dust and dirt all of those years (there are no hungry attorneys suing for this occupational hazard). He limps due to the fact that he needs a second knee surgery from all of the years of animals
ramming at his knees. My parents survived the “Great Depression” once, to this
day they still darn their socks and patch their pants. They worked well into their 70’s; saving every penny they have ever made trying to give their children the best life that they could. But when they were unable to pay for their children’s college education each of us worked in order to pay for our own way through college (no grants, no loans). Guess what, we all finished our college education too! My parents worked hard and scrimped so that whatever might
happen to them in life they would have the money “just in case”; they never wanted to be a burden. Their plan has always been, whatever they didn’t use they would pass on whatever was left to their children and grandchildren. Of course, Obama plans on ridding them of that burden as he increases the death tax. As I said, Dad needs knee surgery (after all the hard years of labor), but mother is sick right now. They have had so many medical bills but never once have they asked for assistance. Dad is scared that if he does not have his knee surgery
(he has his own individual health care plan) by the first of the year, Obama’s new health care plans will prohibit the surgery due to his age since so many countries with Universal Healthcare Plans refuse care and treatments to people based on likely hood of payoff. Our parents have worked for so many years (hard work) only to be told that in their elderly years their hard earned dollars
should be taken and redistributed to those “less fortunate” (or just lazy). Even now, before Obama, they are taxed on whatever miniscule savings they have, savings that they were already taxed on once, the very savings that they use to live off now so
that they will not be a burden on us or society. What is wrong with a society that expects 80 year olds to provide for those who have become accustomed to being kept? How can elderly people who have paid taxes on their hard years of work be expected to have their tax money given to those who are often young, strong and able and who do not pay taxes? There are so many questions that remain unanswered and for the life of us not
one of us can understand how a man like Obama can even be considered for the
Presidency. How can we really be considering voting for a person with such a
socialistic agenda? My parents just shake their heads as they see their beloved
country going down this long slippery slope of no return. When Obama has taxed
all of their money away, will he then redistribute some of their money back to
them for their care? -

Hi Mr. Huckabee,
You are a great American! I pray that John McCain wins and he picks you to be in his cabinet!!!! My husband and I lived in Jonesboro, Ar and helped your son John Mark make phone calls for the last election. As a matter of fact, your son befriended my husband and even came over our home. What a nice young man he is. -

Pam in San Antonio,
You are exactly right, and personally, I think the MSN knows it also--that is why they are trying to silence Joe the Plumber.
Also, the far left media doesn't want anyone in the spotlight who isn't one of them--they think they have a monopoly on that spotlight.

As I read the passionate comments of Jill Anderson and Steve Goff, I am reminded of a phrase with which maany will recognize--especially the ones who learned to type in the '60's.........NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD MEN TO COME TO THE AID OF THEIR COUNTRY!
Yes, they are exactly right. We as christians should rise up and support organizations such as the AFA and grassroots for their efforts to reveal these things and let our voices be heard in large numbers.

I love the "Joe the Plumber" story. It doesn't die because it s a PRINCIPLE not a PERSON. l am a business owner, and I'd be happy to be called "Joe the Plumber" if anyone doesn't think the real Joe fits the scenario well enough. The point is: Let all of those "Joe the Plumbers" out their spread their OWN wealth around! We don't stuff hard earned cash under our mattresses—we spend it, save it, invest it, and give it to charity. We “vote with our dollars” on goods, services, investments, charities that are effective and productive. We don’t spend it on what doesn’t work. The government could NEVER provide this kind of oversight to make sure that the money is rewarding hard work, or in the case of charity, that it is going to the truly needy.

Governor Huckabee,
I am so disturbed that Obama, Biden, and the MSM has mocked Joe the Plumber. He only asked a question? What is this country coming to? This is the message I got, don't ask Obama a question unless you are willing to be personally skewered.

Here is an awesome video on the difference between embryonic and adult stem cell research and which is actually making great headway in curing diseases.
It's over 50 minutes long, but is proof positive that human cloning has disastrous results and causes early death of cloned animals, and is positive proof that embryos are human children from conception.
Amazingly beautiful, awesome, precious in vitro photos of sonograms of beautiful babies!

Are you economic talking heads ready to talk to Mike Huckabee and Congressman John Linder and Neal Boortz and learn more about the FairTax yet?
Our country is sliding into socialism and communism and people still don't understand that we are paying 25% in corporate taxes every time we buy a set of golf clubs or a brief case or a watch or a BMW!
Do you not understand yet that the tax code is over 70,000 pages long and that corporations pay $billions in tax compliance costs that will lower interest rates and consumer prices when the IRS is given the pink slip?
Do you not understand yet that the Progressive Tax System is:
A) harrassing taxpayers and taking away their right to safety in their homes and right to privacy of their budgets?
B) taxation without representation?
C) Causing a Financial Tsunami and a 2nd Great Depression?
Do you not understand yet that the FairTax (a consumer spending tax) will
1) NOT raise one penny on consumer purchases, but in fact may
2) lower consumer prices, and
3) bring trillions in offshore hidden money back to America, and create thousands of new private sector jobs?

Steve Goff,
I agree ..... we don't need to take this voter registration fraud lying down !! There needs to be a "hell raising - in your face" uproar of the Republican Party if they continue to sit up to the table and take this stuff that the Democratic party dishes out to us. I am tired of their passiveness !
Shame on those on the U.S. Supreme Court that sided with the Ohio Sec. of State. There is no excuse having to go through this mess right before election time because Jennifer Brunner Obama didn't do her job.
Again no cry from Obama/Biden, democrats and the hollywood celebrities. If the shoe had been on the other foot ..... the media and the cry of the left would be deafening !!
I really get worked up over things like this. If I lose an honest election ... that is one thing .... BUT to STEAL IT .... is another thing!!
This is one issue we Christians really need to pray about !!
But yes, as Christians ...... we cannot get violent ........ But you might call it:
"Righteous Indignation"
I'll try to cool down .... but it is hard

......but then again Obama might win the election by fraud. Envision this: the most liberal candidate in history with underlying socialistic policies wins the election through fraud, and this with the assistance of the Supreme Court. This is just another instance of the Supreme Court not functioning as it was originally supposed to. I hope the Republicans fight this tooth and nail--otherwise it could be a crucial blow to our democracy.
Are we going to take this lying down? If the Supreme Court allows this fraud to continue than maybe WE should take to the streets and let them feel our burning displeasure. (I am of course speaking of passive mass demonstration) We need to break out of this complacency if we ever want to truly be heard.
Nobody seems to mention the fact that the Democratic congress wanted to give hundreds of millions (or was it billions) of our TRILLION dollar bailout money to an institution that is seeking to undermine our Democratic freedoms that were bought and paid for by the precious blood of those who came before us. I wander what our Founding Fathers would think of this? I have a distinct feeling that George Washington would have a few choice words for those who seek to undermine our democratic freedoms. Shouldn't this irresponsible action by the Democrats be enough for us to demand their resignation?
If we speak loud enough we will eventually be heard. The wrath of the people will ultimately bring the government under our subjection--for the government fears the ubridled passion of the masses.
I stated that I would give my theory why I think that a third party would be successful--but as it stands I do not have the time or energy to write it down. (I touched this to a certain extent on the photo blog) Let me say that it would be steeped in the failure of both parties to serve the best interest of the people--and a growing disillusionment of the masses resulting in a DEMAND for change. As it stands I will give four reasons (of many) why it hasn't been successful in the past:
1. Ralph Nader
2. Ross Perot
3. Bob Barr
4. Ron PaulWe would need leaders that would be perceived as actually having a chance, and who appeal to the masses, not self-interested people who appeal to fringe elements of the defining issues.
There are interesting times brewing in our country in the years ahead--mark my words--prepare for real change to sweep the nation

Kay Noble,
"Huckabee" is usually on at 5pm Pacific Time, and sometimes it plays again at 8pm. And it repeats on Sundays again (usually, but not always out here in California...sometimes there've been "specials" lately) at 5 & 8pm.
That's great that you've got eager friends and family who are wanting to tune in to Huckabee! :) Hope this helps.

Second, they say he owes the IRS. My response: and your point is?

Hello Huckabee Fans,
Good news! Chip Saltzman, who was Mike Huckabee's campaign manager is being considered for the top spot at the RNC(Republican National Committee).
Wow, wouldn't that be great to get someone like Chip who can lead the RNC into 2012 elections?!!
http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archives/2008/10/new_name_pops_up_in_rnc_chair.php
Chip really worked magic helping Mike go from less than 1% to nearly winning the Republican title. He's the kind of person America needs to lead the Republicans to victory in 2012 with effective strategies!
What other person can say they performed magic like that. Other than Ed Rollins who was Ronald Reagan's campaign manager. Both of them worked together in the Huckabee campaign. Chip would be an outstanding leader for the RNC.
Maybe it would be good to get Chip on the "Huckabee" show soon. This may help him with his bid for the RNC top position.
Good Luck, Chip!
Signed,
HuckapediaPS - Chip if you are reading this, it would be great if we can get a star like you to join the Huckabee Fan Club! The energetic Huckabee Fans have already 43 States in America wrapped up for our courageous leader Mike Huckabee and we are not stopping anytime soon!

***************** ATTENTION ****************
I just received another letter from "Grassfire". Could we all just help out with at least $5.00 ? They have thousands of booklets sitting for delivery but need the funds to get them in the hands of voters. It could make the difference in this election as it could be closer than we think. I am getting ready to make my contribution.
__________________________________________From the Desk of:
Steve Elliott, President
Grassfire.org AllianceJill,
I have a bit of a dilemma...
As of this morning, I have 45,000 Quotes & Votes booklets sitting
at the printer ready to be shipped that still lack financial sponsorship. These booklets have been requested by Grassfire team members in
key battleground states who are ready and willing to get them
into the hands of key voters. But that's just the beginning of my dilemma...
We have received so many requests that we could print and distribute
an additional 100,000 booklets if Grassfire team members would step
forward and help. And since each booklet reaches 2-3 people, we could impact an
additional HALF-MILLION voters in key battleground states...
if we just had the funding!Jill, if you have been looking for a way to
have an impact on this election, this is it. Your gift of any
amount will help us get these booklets out of the print shop
and into the hands of voters in a battleground states.
Go here to help:http://www.grassfire.net/r.asp?U=12162&CID=97&RID=18289218
+ + Handful of voters could decide the election!
Despite what the media is saying, I believe this election will come
down to a few key states and a relatively small number of voters.
If we could reach an additional 500,000 voters in the battleground
states with the truth about Obama and McCain, it could make a
crucial difference.Again, we're facing a two-fold dilemma:
#1 -- We have 45,000 booklets sitting at the printer ready to be
shipped to battleground voters. But thus far, no Grassfire
team members have stepped forward to sponsor these booklets.#2 -- We have so many requests for the booklet that we could print
an additional 100,000 and get them distributed in less than
a week... if we had funding. That means we have the potential of reaching over 500,000 additional
voters! But time is growing short. I need to get the 45,000 booklets that we
have on hand distributed as soon as possible. And the printer must
know ASAP if we want to do another print run. Thanks for your help!
Steve Elliott, President
Grassfire.orgP.S. Again, we literally have booklets waiting to be shipped -- and
we could print 100,000 more if friends like you step forward. But
I must hear from you right away. Thanks in advance:P.P.S. If you prefer, you can choose to have Quotes & Votes
distributed in your church or community group. Go here for details: -

I find it interesting that the libs are more concerned about the privacy of the terrorists than they are of American citizens--I thought they were the ones who were the ones who respected one's privacy.
Is it any wonder the same people who were so concerned that the surveliance wire tap program would violate the privacy of people that would do us harm are the ones who are now in support of Barack Obama.

Is this true has Joe really lost his job because of this?
Can any of us speak out without fear of the thought police attacking us?(If Joe's made mistakes he's like all the rest of us...imperfect. I certainly don't think our government officials are perfect either.)
Donations? (I'll donate.) Perhaps a job offer? Someone to help straighten out the licensing problems? I'm sure this isn't the first plumber to need help with this kind of problem.
I'd sure like to see some kind of help offered to Joe on Mike's show this weekend! -

Governor Huckabee, Great scoop, getting Joe the Plumber. I was shocked and angered at the media and Obama campaign going after an ordinary Joe who simply asked a question from a candidate who was actually soliciting his ideas! To think that they are "investigating his financial and personal situation" is absolutely appalling!! Perhaps even WORSE than the answer that Obama gave to his question. I was as mad as Meagan this morning when the Obama surrogate began attacking JOE! I agree with Meagan. Why does that matter? What is even worse for Obama's team is they don't seem to even get the point. It's mot about the validity of the plumber. It's about the position of Obama. I hope that you will cover this along with the "spreading of the wealth" statement Obama made. I would expect Obama to come out publiclly and call for media to STOP attacking one of our citizens who simply asked a question. What has this country's media (and the democratic ticket) come to that they are not above attacking a private citizen?

Just saw Gov. Mike Huckabee on Fox and Friends, going against one of the Democrat's strategists. Mike was able to make some outstanding points about the free enterprise system and why Joe the Plumber had a good question for Obama about why he wants to penalize the small businessman with high taxes.
Mike pointed out that it is not right to make the American worker pay high taxes on hard-earned money so those who are not working hard to earn their own money get part of their wealth. Then FoxNEWS also played the clip where Obama said it was good for Joe to pay higher taxes so others could share the wealth. Every time people hear that quote it should help McCain and Republicans.
I also liked how Mike got back at the tired argument that the Democrat guy gave of how Bill Clinton's administration was better on the economy. Mike pointed out that because of welfare reform in the 90's and a Republican congress that cut taxes, Pres. Clinton got lots of credit for a strong economy that should have gone to the Republicans.
Wow! I am pretty sure the Democrats are glad it is not Mike who is debating Obama, now. And with such a kind smile he is able to make tough points without getting mad.
Mike got in some great points about getting rid of these taxes on productivity and replacing them with a consumption tax. (Fair Tax) He pointed out that if Joe the Plumber does get his plumbing business that earns over $250,000 that he would have to give 39% to the federal government and plus state and local taxes, that would be 50% under Obama's plan. Mike asked the Democrat guy if that is fair, that the small businessman should have to pay 50 cents of every dollar to the government. He got no answer.
And then the interview was over. Mike Huckabee sure won that "debate." Can't wait to see the show "Huckabee" on Saturday and Sunday evening!
Oh, and the FoxNEWS host said that the Democrats are doing a "real hatchet job on poor Joe" (looking into his voting record, divorce, financial records, etc, even though he just came to the Obama rally and asked a question) Mike remarked that this was wrong because, "Joe's not running for President."
This should be a great interview of Joe on "Huckabee" this weekend.
Please pray for Gov. Huckabee and his show this weekend, as well as for upcoming guests and ideas for future shows. May the Lord use this way to introduce viewers of many persuasions to understand the need for more conservative policies and a return to traditional values in America. Plus just to help us have a good time laughing and watching some clean, informative entertainment.
GRACE in Kansas, PRAYING
"Mike had the foresight to ask Joe to be his guest, even before the debates made hiim a national figure." (Megyn Kelly semi-quote on FoxNEWS)

John McCain's success in essence has already proved that Barack Obama's polarizing nature in regard to his associations and radical abortion/taxation policies are driving people to vote for him. You can judge this to a degree by looking at this site and reading the posts about those who would not normally consider voting for John McCain, but who understand that his policies are in the best interest of our country as opposed to Obama's radical stances.
I was looking at polls, then again there are times when polls are truly insignificant when looked at through the context of history. I personally feel that the polls are favoring Obama to a larger degree than what the results will reflect on election day. I feel that we will see a larger conservative turnout during this election than what most suspect. If this is true, then the margin of votes will be much larger and a third party vote will not pose much of a threat. I also believe that once behind the curtain, many undecided voters will think about Obama's associations, socialistic policies, lack of judgment, radical abortion stances, and high taxation policies and pull the lever for John McCain. So I may be facing a little pre-election paranoia in regard to the election. I can't wait until this election is over and I can take a vacation from all of this.

Joe stepped up to the plate...
Now I think we'd better figure out a way to cover Joe's back.
The graciaous, Senator Obama mocked him today. His wolves are out to make Joe's life a living _ _ _ _. They are attacking Joe's livelihood.
Any ideas of how we can support Joe? Perhaps on Huckabee this weekend. Let's not throw him under the bus!
