about the thirteen dollars a week that we could get? my daughter-in-law has a beauty salon. we figured if i got one fourth of a perm each week for thirteen dollars, it would take only 4 weeks to get one and by that time i would be ready for another one. not a good idea.
love your show and the fox network -

Please don't try to work so many different things into your one-hour show. As tactful as Gov. Huckabee is, most of his guests must feel VERY rushed. I feel rushed as a listener - and I usually would like to hear more from some guests ... and I am sure that they often feel it hardly worth their time for a two or three-minute "blip" on your show. The gentleman tonight just wanted to say one more "quick thing" -- and I wanted to hear what it was. I do hope that someone on Gov. Huckabee's staff had the COURTESY to ask him what it was that he wanted to say! I didn't get to watch the rest of the show and would like to think that some mention was made of his statement. I am sure that Gov. Huckabee does not want to appear rude - but sometimes you really don't allow enough time for people to feel very important by hearing what they have to say ... and it does come across as rudeness - or disinterest! Plan longer segments - and fewer guests - please!

I like your show a lot. We found it by accident. Since the election, we avoid Fox even (I like Fox, but sometimes I can't stand to listen when interviews are with the liberals, or Mr. Obama is on. I disagree with your first blogger--part of the charm of your show is that you treat the people that spout garbage as if they make sense and you have a remarkable ability to stay calm. I have serious misgivings about Mr. Obama as a President. I think maybe if we don't pray and if we don't turn back to God, He'll allow him to be elected as in Isaiah when the disobedient Jews were taken over by Assyrians. That may be all wrong, but America has done things that God should punish us for--homosexuality and abortion alone fill that bill and there are a lot of others. My mother is the sweetest Christian woman I know, but she voted for Obama. I'm very mixed up about what I should tell her. She's always been a Democrat (except they did vote for Barry Goldwater).
My mother-in-law wanted you to run--I did, too. I hope you run again. Her mother, we call her Mama Nita, was a yellow dog Democrat, lives in Arkansas and went to your ordination when you became a preacher.
Your show is a blessing and my husband and I enjoy it a lot.

In your most recent show Richard Dreyfuss was one of your guests and I thought it amusing. O'Reilly really should of had him on his show and given him his three minutes of uninterrupted air time because then everybody would see so clearly what a nut case he is and that he is not to be taken seriously. His ramblings that jumped hither and yon were not of a normal man waxing philosophical but bordered on someone mentally disturbed and in need of medication. For all his supposed intellectual babble he expressed to thousands what a fool he actually is. We had a good laugh here at my house. No wonder he is voting for Obama, he has drank/smoked more than just the koolaide!!!
O'Reilly would of called him nut to his face, though you did not and should of. I hope he puts some of your footage on his show. You are too gracious on your show and the forces darkness take advantage of it. I won't be watching if more garbage gets put on.
Your other guest, Bill Mahr, seemed to be a bitter sad type person. You should of told him don't knock religion if you haven't tried it and asked him to "Why don't you sincerely invite Jesus into your heart and just see what happens to your life and we'll talk again next year." The only way to really test it is to live it!

Hello Mr Huckabee, I truly enjoy your show! I watched your program and I was so impressed by Rev Broden. How wonderful how absolutely WONDERFUL it is to see an African American Rev, stepping up and out against his community because they are WRONG! it must be very hard for him and what an example it is to see a REV going out on a limb to follow not his race but GODS race, the human race! so inspirational, my heart just melted what a wonderful follower of the LORD... Thank you for sharing him with us and please have him back on your show and while your at it please please tell him to hurry up and get his church a web site :) Mr Huckabee my votes always and forever with you! GOD BLESS your our voice right now seems the only voice we have out here

Congratulations on the new show! I do realize that this is new territory and such, but I have a few concerns/comments:
1. That as a man who was closer than the rest of us to possibly becoming President of the United States, that you are not reduced in image to a "talk show" host.
2. The forum appeared to be a little controlled. I know that there is probably a little give and take in order to have this platform, but even the questions selected by the producers (or whoever it was) were "pastor in chief" type questions that were used to minimize your time in talking about core government issues during the primaries.Although I believe the question about 1st time Dad, and faith being an issue in a campaign are extremely important, I would like to see more government leadership ideas over time on the show, rather than the biblical "Dr. Phil" flavor of the first episode.
God bless!

First off... I wish you were on TV in a debate against Obama, not McCain. But anyway, I loved your show. I liked how even though t was mostly a negative topic it did not feel negative. I enjoyed it a lot. I was looking for it in my tivo and couldn't find it. God Bless the USA and your family and every person on Earth!

Loved the new show! K. Hasselback was interrupted by Fox for the GOP Bail out segment, but I thought your answers to questions were thoughtful, and appreciated your panel's thoughtful responses to questions. How refreshing to have a talk show host that LISTENS. Looking forward to hearing more from your band.

Hey, hopefully you can also have Sarah Palin on your show sometime soon. Love to see that one!
Also, I wrote about an idea for your show on the Recent Blog Post...the sept 27th entitled "Media Alert" a reminder of your new show "Huckabee". It was kinda a long post but I would like you to read it and perhaps you may like the idea I had.
I really liked the new Movie "Fireproof"
I really like your show. We will be faithful viewers, my Husband and I.

I enjoyed Gov. Huckabee's first show - and am so glad that he will now be a "regular" on the Fox network! He always speaks clearly and eloquently -- and uses such great judgment in political issues. Keep up the good work, Governor! (I am sure that the only people who would not compliment your show are those who do not agree with your easy-going and objective viewpoint about anything!)

Dear Huckpac Community:
After careful thought and consideration I feel that I must inform you of some things, as I have been under a lot of conviction this past night.
First I will start with the Church and the IRS. I have been against the IRS using the church's tax free status to limit their speech in political affairs for some time now. (As obvious by my post last night) This has more to do than with political endorsements, because I feel that it is a violation of the freedom of speech. I aslo feel that this type of law presents a slippery slope in the sense that government can start limiting the church's speech on things like abortion, homosexuality, or anything that it deems to be "intolerant." (Even to the point of denying the church's right of claiming JESUS CHRIST as the only way to salvation.)
With that being said, I must address the Church's role in politics. I do not think that there is anything wrong with Pastors encouraging their flock to vote for leaders who are more aligned with God's standards. I also believe that it is not wrong for the church to preach against unjust laws that are disaligned with God's word.
With this in mind, I do believe that their is a potential threat when the church becomes TOO political. The primary goal of the church is not to point point people towards human leaders, but towards God's Son: JESUS CHRIST. If a pastor wants to endorse a candidate than I believe that is fine, but the church should never get to the point where it takes its eyes off of Christ and focuses them on man.
This is not to say that Christians should not be politically active--as long as we have the freedom to elect our leaders we should cast our vote men who honor God and his laws. But we should never get to the point where we only look to man for the answer. JESUS CHRIST is the only answer to the problems of this world. With that being said we should continue to support those leaders who share our principles.
We have seen the end of human government in the book of Revelation: It ends with the Anti-Christ assuming control, and the rest of the world following after him. Subsequently those who follow him will be desroyed and cast into the Lake of Fire. May we continue to support Godly leades during these perilous times while staying focused on Christ; the author and finisher of our faith.PS: This is going to be my last post for a while. It was a privilege to be a part of this forum

Gov. Huckabee does have a "quiet strength". He definitely has a reassuring presence---a great quality to have in a President! I also like Gingrich & Steele.

I like your description of "Huckabee". I think another Huck Pac member described him as having a quiet strength. I too pray that "Huckabee" will be a "calming" influence.
Many of the others on Fox News really mean well, but they seem to have a "cocky" attitude. I also like Newt Gingrich and Michael Steele.

Governor Huckabee,
I have to admit, when I first heard you were going to be working on Fox News Channel, I thought, "Nooo!" How could he? During the primaries, they were NOT your friends. :(
Since then, I have come to see the wisdom of this move. :)
And right now, I find it unbelievably amazing, of how God's perfect timing has your "Huckabee" show coming on this very Saturday, after all the insanity this week.
What better time for you and the people of this country to talk about this? I, (we) are so looking forward to your show this weekend!

This country is going down hill real fast, and the only ones who can stop this are Conservative Capitalists, and I believe the only ones who can make a difference is us! The regular common day Conservative, we have to run for mayor, city council, try anything! We must not sit quiet, and wait for the next leader, WE ARE THE LEADERS WHO ARE THE SOLVERS OF THIS PROBLEM!

I wish you the best of luck with this show. I think it's FANTASTIC.
I have just one suggestion:
GOOD OR BAD, NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE TRUTH.
Too many "newspeople" steer their shows toward entertainment and away from REAL news that is REAL important. Can you joke once in awhile? Of course. Can you make it entertaining? Of course. But never lose sight of the IMPORTANT issues of the day. In other words, don't concentrate on the logging industry affecting the spotted owls as terrorists were planning the 9-11 attack. The IMPORTANT issues are ALWAYS most important.
As it's been said, "Never lose sight of the forest for the trees" & GOOD LUCK! We'll be watching!
Focus.

Here is some quotes that stuck out but i've only read very little as its real long. Find the whole thing here. http://www.chinapage.com/sunzi-e.html I think our Government really needs to read this!!!!Poverty of the State exchequer causes an army
to be maintained by contributions from a distance.
Contributing to maintain an army at a distance causes
the people to be impoverished.11. On the other hand, the proximity of an army causes
prices to go up; and high prices cause the people's
substance to be drained away.12. When their substance is drained away, the peasantry
will be afflicted by heavy exactions.13,14. With this loss of substance and exhaustion
of strength, the homes of the people will be stripped bare,
and three-tenths of their income will be dissipated;
while government expenses for broken chariots, worn-out horses,
breast-plates and helmets, bows and arrows, spears and shields,
protective mantles, draught-oxen and heavy wagons,
will amount to four-tenths of its total revenue.15. Hence a wise general makes a point of foraging

is equivalent to twenty of one's own, and likewise
a single picul of his provender is equivalent to twenty
from one's own store. -

***THIS WILL NOT WORK!!!
What I'm telling you is the truth weather anyone believes me or not.
God says everything has to be balanced to work right, that's his law and its in all his works in nature, if an insect gets over populated he then sends a disease, flood or drought to put it back in balance.
We are now in times where there is more pay cuts then raises, Also workers losing good paying jobs and having to settle with less paying ones.
What is now happening is due to unbalanced trade and our economy is now self balancing with the ones that we trade with. Our free trading partners economy's going up and ours going down and if left untouched will balance out somewhere in the middle, this means we will have less things and make less then we do now but due to the other trading partners making the same we can then trade on a level field. I don't like it but this is what is happing.
Our Government in the past was smart and knew this could happen so they put tariffs on traded goods to level the playing field to prevent this very thing from happening and for some unknown reason our currant Government thinks we are above Gods Order. Why do you think that China and the Middle east has all this nice new buildings and stuff now ? Where do you think that money came from, we can only trade wealth, when another nation gets wealthier it has to be given up by someone else, there is no secret voult were wealth just appears, we can print more money, but we can not print more wealth.
We are giving China and everyone else more then they are sending back to us , THIS WILL NOT WORK!!!
If a rich man gives a poor man all his wealth then he becomes poor and the poor man becomes rich. -

Together We Stand:
Thanks for bringing this up, especially the article about China not having to fire a single shot. Scary.
I think Governor Huckabee or Duncan Hunter mentioned a while back, I think it might have been during the debates, that we need to get back to "Made in the U.S.A.".
I have a plastic tumbler, with a newspaper headline lining the outside, from the L.A. Times ( from back in the 70's) and I looked on the bottom of the cup, and was SHOCKED! It didn't say CHINA, like I had expected. It actually said MADE IN THE U.S.A.! And to think how shocked I really was, said a lot. I had to show it to my son. He's probably never even seen anything MADE IN THE USA! He couldn't believe it either.
We need to start making things in the USA again!

Governor Huckabee,
If your show has guest and gets stuff out in front of the public I think I have an Idea that may put your show in the spot light as I have not heard of anyone doing this and its on people's minds, They want to know!!!
I would love to see someone ask American Companies that have left, companies that are in the process of leaving and companies that are still here why exactly they left or leaving and what could have been done to help them stay, How exactly they could be competitive here, What would need to be done. I believe most of us knows but I would love to see it straight from there mouth and documented.
Just seams like Obama and McCain saying they are going to create jobs would be a good start if they first help prevent the ones we have from leaving.
Just seams like the thing to do, I mean when a wife packs up to leave does the husband not ask why first and then try to correct the problem if he wants her to stay.
I bet some CEOs and Managers would love to talk especially the ones now unemployed.I Want to know!!

WARNING!!!!!
If the Republican party want to win they better start listing!!Yesterday every one I come in contact with struck up a conversation with me on what's going on, the interesting thing is they stared the conversation not me, This has not happen since 9-11which tells me every one is feed up and its on they minds so much they want to talk about it. It seams like most of the anger is because of China and Oil.
I also learn some stuff that I'm going to pass along to you, My UPS delivery man told me most business has now cut to a 3 day week and some have stop for a wile because nothing is moving and he should know if anyone should, but that's not all, through out the day I also spoke to someone who's buddy works on a cargo ship that goes back and forth to china and he said that "it not even funny how out of balance shipments are, China has so much cargo on their docks that their is not enough ships to carry it, they bring in full ships to our ports but when the ship leaves back out to china the ship is almost empty and sometimes are" He also said it would take a month to save enough cargo to fill a ship bound for china.
I also learned that this place in SC that cuts denim out for jeans is having to move to the, I believe he said the Dominican Republic or something like that because they can no longer compete with imported jeans and the plan manager said that their they can pay the entire work force for a month on the salary he currently makes in a day.
I also learn that a bearing manufacture in Spartanburg SC INA Bearing a Germany owned company is moving some of its manufacturing to Mexico to try and help compete with China made Bearings but what really gets me is RIGHT NOW their is People from Mexico at this plant in SC USA that are training on these jobs that are being moved to their country, Boy talk about a slap in the face.
Also a Big time radio here this morning had callers calling in mad about China goods and most said star making this stuff in USA again and they will be more the glad to pay more for it.
I also heard some on Oil but that's all I got time to write right now.
So there you have it, Seams like every one is MAD about Trade and Oil and not just mad but MAD enough to strike a conversation up about it.
Republicans can win By being vocal about Trade Imbalance and Energy because it will get peoples attention.
Republicans will lose by supporting Free trade -

Del and Leslie,
I am so in agreement with your comments regarding needed prayer covering for Mike and a spiritual revival in our nation. We need a heart of repentance and ask the Lord to forgive us and to have mercy on our nation.
Some time back I heard someone declare that the Lord told them that in our nation, "the cry of sin was greater than the cry of prayer". The implication also was that judgement can be witheld thru fervent prayer. The prayers of a righteous man availeth much - Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, etc. - - - I'm so thankful many are fasting and praying in this hour.
Thank you Mike for being a model for us of character and integrity in Christ. You forgave having been wronged, and remained strong when criticized and maligned. I believe in many cases you were right and they were wrong. Because of this, you've been a light in dark places, and I believe the Lord's favor is on you to turn the hearts of rulers and also the man on the street.
Thank you for caring for the least of these, having a servants heart, and standing in the gap. God honors those who honor Him.
Let your light shine - Matthew 5:16
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your father who is in heaven."Stand in the gap - Ezekiel 22:30
I sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.Lets pray that the Lord would not say of us - "But I found none." Lets stand in the gap with Mike for our leaders and nation.

I'm totally supportive of your view(s) on the 'bail out'...for that matter, your views on everything else. :-) In general, I thank God for you and your family...your courage, willingness to do His Work, and your unwavering commitment to all that is good and all that is true. Words haven't been invented to express the respect I have for you and your family. It's this country's GREAT loss that you're not our Republican Presidential candidate in the next election. I'll pray that you'll be able to be in the next one. What IS this country without Faith, Family, Freedom?! ...Certainly not the USA that our courageous founding fathers and soldiers fought for. America NEEDS you!!! I'm praying for you and your family.
Always a 150% supporter,

Please....this is so important!!!
Have a really, really great 'theme' music, as
it has so much to do with the success of how people view you on a TV show.Remember....First Impressions!
Congratulations!
