I just placed my first 20 phone calls for McCain/Palin from the johnmccain.com website.
They tell you to wait an hour to make more calls as the results are processing.
Mostly I got wrong numbers, but was able to leave several voicemail messages.
Brings back memories of those 1,500 calls I made for Gov. Huckabee.

If Congress thinks it can pass a permanent ban on offshore drilling like the House just passed, without ever having to renew the ban every year, they must be out of their minds.
The offshore billing ban is due to expire on Oct. 1. If Sen. Obama & Sen. McCain let Congress vote in a permanent ban that never needs to be renewed on 90% of all offshore drilling, do they not realize that the American people will revolt at such an asinine act?
Isn't there something in the Declaration of Independence about the people revolting if their leaders' brains fall out of their heads and they march us off the edge of a cliff?
Do these people in D.C. think we are not listening and that we are stupid? Apparently so.

Nothing could prevent Mike Huckabee from getting elected in 2012 no matter who gets elected in 2008.
I don't believe in political posturing. You sound like the crossover Republican voters who voted for Obama to keep Clinton out of the White House just because Rush Limbaugh suggested it.
Far better to vote your convictions. If everyone who liked Mike Huckabee had voted for him in the Primary, he would be our Republican nominee right now!

Washington, Sep 16 - House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) today blasted Democratic leaders for refusing to allow an open and honest debate and vote on Republicans’ “all of the above” energy reforms at the same time they bring their own bill to the House floor today.Late last night, the Democrat-controlled Rules Committee shut down open and honest debate by passing a closed rule to govern today’s floor debate, refusing GOP proposals to allow any member to offer their amendments and specifically refusing to allow an open and honest debate on the American Energy Act (H.R. 6566), House Republicans’ plan to lower gas prices by encouraging more conservation and efficiency, promoting the use of more alterative and renewable fuels, and expanding drilling on remote lands and far off American shores in an environmentally-safe way.
“With today’s floor debate, Speaker Pelosi has designed yet another cynical strategy that enables vulnerable Democrats to claim they support more American energy back in their districts but then vote against it here in Washington. In rigging today’s debate on the Speaker’s latest ‘no energy’ bill, Democrats have made an open and honest debate impossible for those who support an ‘all of the above’ approach to reduce fuel costs. In fact, last night at the Rules Committee, Republicans offered a proposal to open up today’s debate to enable a real vote on our ‘all of the above’ American Energy Act, and Democrats voted it down. The Majority has even gone so far as to begin debate on their sham bill today while several Members of the Texas delegation are still home with their constituents, helping in the recovery effort after Hurricane Ike.
“Written behind closed doors, with their special interest allies who are on the record in support of higher gas prices, and finally released to the public in the dark of night, the Democrats’ latest ‘no energy’ bill once again defies the will of the American people who support a comprehensive approach to lower gas prices. This Democratic bill permanently locks away some 88 percent of the best American oil resources on the Outer Continental Shelf. It blocks valuable and job-creating energy production on Alaska’s North Slope and Inter-Mountain West. And it stops efforts to produce more and cheaper energy through emissions-free nuclear and coal-to-liquids technologies. Rather than an ‘all of the above’ approach, this bill is very nearly ‘none of the above.’ The American people have been waiting for months for this Democratic Congress to give them a meaningful, honest vote on more American energy production, but instead, Speaker Pelosi has served-up a legislative hoax and a debate rigged to once again defy their will.”
NOTE: Last week, House Republican leaders sent a letter to Speaker Pelosi requesting that she allow an honest debate and vote on H.R. 6566, the American Energy Act, at the same time the Democratic leadership brings its own bill to the floor to ensure that the House does not adjourn before November without a vote on a truly comprehensive energy reform bill that gives the American people the “all of the above” energy reforms they expect and deserve.

I had a friend who had a Downs Syndrome child. She went to great lengths to make her little girl look even more endearing than if she didn't have this affliction.
I complimented her on her child's apppearance and she said that she had read it in a book )to put in that extra little effort when you child is disabled).
I thought how wise this was. -

Also, I forgot, can you also get a message to the McCain camp that NBC (the worst, biased, words fail me...) are filming him from an unflattering angle. They have to be on guard for this!! Tell them to watch McCain's interview this morning and Joe Biden straight afterwards. Joe looked much more relatable and it was due to only the camera angle.

Governor,
Can you get a message to the McCain camp that one of the responses they need to be hammering to counteract the democrats on the state of the economy is that one of the solutions is to drill - which Obama is opposed. If we drill here, all that money currently going to Arab nations will come here, and Americans will have cheap gas - which will also be good for the economy, but its not George Bush that has stopped us doing that but Obama and the democratic congress!
Also, everytime they link McCain to Pres. Bush, he needs to link Obama to the useless two years of the democratic congress.
Finally, the other solution is your fair tax, which would bring off-shore money back here into the economy as well as putting more money back into the system. -
