McCain just sealed his loss on November 4 by disrespecting Mike Huckabee and the millions of conservative Christians who spent countless hours and funds trying to get a good man elected who would bring God's blessings and protection on our country.
Why would McCain, a Baptist, disrespect
another Baptist? McCain's hubris is unbelievable. McCain's sexual, lobbyist and "persecution of Christian leaders" scandals will be exposed and become front and center in the next 12 weeks. Keep watching "Lou Dobbs Tonight"! -

Doctor David and all:
I have been very concerned that McCain cannot win without the SOLID support of the Republican base. Unfortunately, as we continued into the primary season; it has appeared that McCain really has had no intention of catering to, or listening to the base of his party. If he doesn’t show that he understands the base and validate them, I fear that there aren’t going to be enough McCain/Mickey Mouse, or McCain/Yellow Dog voters to make a difference one way or the other. I may be wrong, but is McCain willing to see if he can win without the SOLID support of the Republican base. Huckabee, as VP would SOLIDIFY the base, bring in the youth, and the enthusiasm the ticket needs to win against the charismatic Obama.
We don’t want the Democrats to win!
We don’t want the Republicans to lose!
If you’ll vote for McCain no matter what, good for you! But, you all know how bad the fighting was on MIkeHuckabee.com before HuckPAC, which caused so many to quit posting. When HuckPAC launched even more people left when Huckabee gave McCain his unconditional support. You can lead people to water, but you can’t make them drink! Especially if they think the water is toxic to them! Mike would be the neutralizer, he would stabilize the ticket. This is what the religious leaders tried to convey to McCain. With Huckabee on the ticket, McCain is more palatable. Some will pinch their noses and swallow anyway, but many will not!Have a great week-end!
Love to you all! -

Quote from Loretta Neil: I get the impression he does not even like christian conservatives...... If he ask Mike Huckabee to be VP, that will assure me that he really does care about us, and is a true conservative..... And, he will have the very best man for the job.....
I have felt for some time that, should McCain pass Mike by, it would be because he was once a minister. I didn't say anything because I could be wrong, but given his (McCain's history) and the fact that Mike makes PERFECT sense and was speculted as being the right pick for McCain even before the primaries were even over, but has not even been floated in months, what other explanation could there be???? (unless they actually had the political savvy to withhold from everyone to build excitement to the max when announced that it was going to be Mike!). Somehow, I'm just not seeing that kind of insight coming from the McCain campaign. I mean, they really are, I believe, making a HUGE tactical error not to float Mike with these other guys. IF they now don't pick Mike, I believe they will see alot of backlash from conservatives who feel slighted by our own party...If I were McCain I would wait as long as possible to make the announcement. I have a feeling it is going to cause his numbers to DROP. Polls already attest to as much for a McCain/Romney ticket.
While I don't want to see Obama win, should he take on Hillary as vp it would mean she could not run in 2012. Obama will NEVER please folks because he has promised too many different things to too many different groups. I don't think he could carry two terms. This would give the Republican ticket a great chance in 2012! Not hoping for that to happen, but if it's McCain/Romney I believe that will happen. By the way Romney will be blamed for McCain's faliure (because he has been warned by the Rasmussen polls that Mitt will bring the ticket down by 6) and won't be so favored by the beltway boys next time. -

Folks, we can ask every way to Sunday why
McCain seems to be attracted to the likes
of any VP choice OTHER than our man,
Huck. Huck has scared the political estab-
lishment to its core. Here is a man among
boys when it comes to integrity, faith and
real compassion. To wit, the fact that Huck
was a twice elected Governor in a Democrat
state has all parties attention. McCain has
been in D.C. too long. Just like Bob Dole,
Richard Nixon, George Bush Sr. and the list
grows...They all have the idea that they've
earned their turn in The Oval Office due to
tenure. That is why McCain lacks the real
energy and thrill to be in the hunt for the
presidency. If it weren't for those turncoats
at Fox (Hannity, Ingraham, etc.) and Fred
Thompson, South Carolina would have been
McCain's swan song. I feel Huck would have
soared from that win into Florida and beyond.
The establishment took care of their own!
Mike's FairTax endorsement mortified the
likes of Romney and McCain and it didn't
take long for the media to squelch the
chatter Huck started on that subject.
Bottom line, Mike Huckabee is a clear and
present danger to the D.C. establishment.
Too bad that "The Maverick" doesn't have the
testicular fortitude by choosing Huck and
sticking it to the enemies that abound and
are banking on McCain's defeat. An Obama
victory ensures Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, Ingraham and others that are raking in huge salaries to then perpetuate their squealing about how bad the liberals are like piggies at the trough....at America's hard working middle- class expense. -

McCAIN SELLS AMERICANS DOWN THE RIVER
Mike Huckabee's Interview with Channel 7 CBS on Aug. 8:
Huckabee says he has not been approached by McCain camp to be V.P.
http://www.mikehuckabee.com/index.cfm?fa=Videos.View&Video_id=b7274edd-0db8-41bb-9279-b99f36d92c47
It's probably better that Huckabee NOT be attached to a snoozing, yawning losing campaign like Bob Dole/John McCain.
Problem is, lifetime senators have too many lobbyists for friends. McCain met with Wilmington OH citizens at Wilmington College Thurs., Aug. 7, 2008.
His message? "I'll try to save your jobs, but it may not be possible. What jobs can't McCain save, while pretending to?
DHL in Wilmington, KY is planning to give the axe to 8,000 to 10,000 people (including pilots) who work with Airborne when it attempts to ditch Airborne and merge DHL with UPS.
Why is this a Huge Problem for McCain?
A) RICK DAVIS, McCain's campaign manager, and CHRISTIAN FERRY, McCain's e-campaign director, both lobbied for Deutsche Post, the GERMAN COMPANY that bought DHL and Airborne in 2002 and 2003 and obtained $465,000 in fees for lobbying to GIVE AWAY OWNERSHIP OF AN AMERICAN COMPANY TO GERMANY.
B) DAVIS & FERRY also lobbied on behalf of AIRBORNE (the LOSING SIDE in this DEAL) earning an additional $125,000 in fees. They lobbied the Senate to approve the DHL/Airborne merger, which it did. SOUND LIKE CONFLICT OF INTEREST? YOU BET IT IS!
C) JOHN GREEN, McCain's liaison to Congress, lobbied for DEUTSCHE POST from June 2003 to April 2006, earning $600,000 in FEES.
D) Later JOHN GREEN lobbied on behalf of UPS, earning $40,000 between Aug. 2007 and Mar. 2008.
Check this out! McCain's advisors have a COLLOSAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST in bilking the American people out of jobs and RAKING in fees on both sides of the fence!
They have ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST in SAVING AMERICAN JOBS or SAVING AMERICAN OWNERSHIP (SOVEREIGNTY) OF AMERICAN COMPANIES!
McCain is telling Americans that their jobs are gone, because he is a Washington INSIDER and because all his buddies have earned huge fees SELLING AMERICANS JOBS DOWN THE RIVER!
Do the Germans care if American workers are put out on the street and on welfare? Why should they? They are across the ocean and we are here, trying to raise our families in the U.S.A.
Wonder why the media has ignored this? Maybe they're besotted with John Edwards love child at the moment. Believe me, this will come back to bite Sen. McCain in the general election.
That's why is better that Huckabee is NOT a part of this SINKING GOP SHIP. Best to promote conservative, godly Senators and Representatives from outside of D.C. who can come in to the beltway fresh and make some changes before Huckabee gets there in 2012, unscathed from McCain's past sexual scandals.

Mike has ALWAYS been very complimentary of Senator McCain, during the debates time and time again he referred to him as a hero and he defended him when Romney attacked his character during the primaries. I have always heard about McCain that loyalty was very important to him. I can't BELIEVE he actually thinks Romney's support of him is anything more than ambition driven. That, along with the poll numbers against a Romney pick, make me feel, that if McCain chooses Romney, he has been bought and paid for by the beltway boys....I certainly hope that doesn't happen. I have respect for Senator McCain as always being the guy who will do the hard things, for the good of the people and the country. I hope he is not taking bad advice from those around him. .

Mitt Romney: The Republican's Slick Willie?
by MrArbitrage
www.tableofwisdom.comThink Mitt Romney would be a good VP candidate? Watch the following video and see the man who probably dropped President Reagan's name more times last winter than Nancy Reagan did in a life time. That would be understandable if it were not for the passion with which Romney denounced Reagan when he was runnning against Kennedy for the Senate in 1994.
He's pro-life this year? He sure sounds sincere - but watch how passionately he boasts about his PRO-abortion stance. How could you tell which time he was telling the truth?
Perhaps he should be an Oscar nominee - but McCain's nominee? He would be about as much an asset to the campaign right now as Arlen Spector.
This is a "conservative"? Watch and decide for your self.

I too am excited to support John McCain with dollars and my time when and if he picks Huckabee. If he doesn't, I will probably still vote for him, but won't feel motivated to help. I hope McCain knows what Huckabee would bring if he is VP - a VERY dedicated army of supporters who will devote hundreds of hours helping him get elected.
I also thought . . . wouldn't it be awesome if McCain announced his VP tonight in Arkansas. I think the Edwards disgrace, the Russian/Georgian confict and the Olympics are going to dominate this news cycle.

I’m sad to say that many people left this site early on because of Mike’s unconditional support of John McCain. After all Mike did to elevate and promote John McCain during the primaries, McCain ignored Mike once Romney dropped out, and the GOP made a joke out of the whole primary process. Many people still wanted to vote, and they wanted to hear from the remaining candidates. The race was still on! We ALL have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We have the right to vote! They treated us like our votes didn’t matter. It seems they still feel this way, or do they? Time will tell. If they truly eliminated Mike Huckabee, there’s your answer. Your vote is taken for granted!
Many people won’t even donate to HuckPAC for fear it will end up supporting McCain. It’s true! I have read the blog rolls and many people said, we love you Mike, but we cannot and will not get behind McCain “until,” “unless” and……... “because”………all with valid and compelling reasoning. We want and need validation from our Party. Ignoring us further by eliminating Mike is a colossal mistake. Does the GOP want McCain to win? It sure doesn’t seem so.
Many people will get on board “IF” McCain picks Mike Huckabee as his VP. This is the simple truth. Some will vote for McCain regardless, but will it be enough? I seriously doubt it. I really do not think John McCain can shine without Mike Huckabee constantly illuminating him; after all it was Mike Huckabee that really turned McCain’s campaign around and gave him the edge in the primaries.
Without Mike Huckabee, John McCain is a boring old man; far from the base of the Republican Party. McCain is also lacking the necessary support of the youth. (Something Mike would bring to the ticket) How in the world anyone can think John McCain could possibly win without Mike Huckabee’s energizing talent is beyond my comprehension? (Shaking head, aint going to happen) Fear of Obama or not! Some feel, being ignored by those who are supposed to represent you, is even scarier. -

I am an old conservative and this is the first time I have taken the role seriously.... I cannot give to McCain, untill I know he is a conservative, too... Not, just on some issues, but all of them....I get the impression he does not even like christian conservatives...... If he ask Mike Huckabee to be VP, that will assure me that he really does care about us, and is a true conservative..... And, he will have the very best man for the job.....
I heard some newsman talking the other day, that he might ask a Democrat... It will be the end of getting any support from most christian conservatives, if he does....
I am getting tired of waiting, don't see why he doesn't let us know who will be his VP..
The newsman thought he was waiting to see who Obama gets... Because, if he does not pick Hillary, he thinks if he goes liberal, he will get her voters.....
I know , if he was thinking who would be the best candidate.... He would have already asked the very best of them all, and it would be..... HUCKABEE........
I will give all I can , and will do what I can to get McCain/ Huckabee in the whitehouse..................but with out Huckabee , he will not win, and I cannot support him................

Pat Toomey is the head of The Club for Growth which rode 550, 000 from Mitt Romney to victory over their apparent nemesis, Mike Huckabee.
That's the part I find most incredible. They whore themselves out in exchange for half a million from Romney....only to be left at the alter when he decides he can't stand the heat. Proof that breaking faith with people is as much a part of American politics as kissing babies. I could almost feel sorry for them, but for their smear campaign.

I have sent a token donation to the McCain campaign and listed Mike Huckabee/HuckPAC as the friend who inspired it.
When McCain's choice of VP candidate demonstrates he supports conservative voters, I'll support his campaign 110%--and I think he will see the same level of grassroots support Governor Huckabee inspired during the primaries--or even greater, because of all we learned during what was for many of us a first-time involvement in supporting a political candidate.

Dear Congress
I have written to you a few times already.
Please listen to me this time.
Our issues are the same as every Lawbidding Tax Paying Citizen in this Great Country we live in. The housing market, gas prices, food, job loss, as a result of this war & our Leadership in this Country, Basically the high cost of everything and not being able to maintain our life style. Every thing is raising so fast that we are not able to make the adjustment to keep up at no fault of our own.We have a Congress that has gone off the deep end with spending and misappropriating our Tax revenue, I was making it ok until everything doubled on me. What is being asked of us is just Impossible for us as Faithful Tax Paying Citizens to do. This is pure Craziness.
The Fed rate is now at 2% The banks and our mortgage company are at 6+% they should be at 4 - 4 1/2%. If the Feds want to Bail someone out it should the People Not the Agencies Banks or Mortgage Companies they are the Problem.
A 2% rate would help us tremendously to maintain my life's as we move into this new high price generation.
Please keep in mind that I am not looking for a handout just a solution to this dilemma our Government & Oil Tycoons have seen fit put us in.
You people really should be ashamed for letting things in this Country get this far out of Control. Now where do we go from here. I have seen way to much talk, I am in good standing in my Community , am a citizen, not a lawbreaker, just a common person trying to make it happen , but it gets harder and harder, while all of you just talk and talk some more.

Here is a pretty good read. But who is Pat Toomey, he is getting on my nerves. Somehow we need to make more noise then him, he don't speak for me/conservatives. Somehow McCain needs to know Huckabee has a grass root movement that can go to work the very day Huckabee is Picked. I know it can't be done from here but I wonder if Huck's army would be able to do some sort of press release to all news outlets on how ready and willing they are and how we can get them swing states for him from on the ground campaigning, You would think that McCain would like another army on his side..
