Thank you Senator Inhofe for your words of "pro-life with no apology", that phrase will become my mantra, it is time for us to "be bold in our beliefs". I make that pledge to myself, my family, my country and to my God. Thank you for your leadership. grace schnakenberg

Wish you were my U.S. Senator from here in Florida!
Thank you for your strong pro-life stand.

I find it so hard to believe that some will support a partial-birth abortion when it is so obviously wrong! And, since that is so wrong, I do not understand how anyone can believe that backing up the calendar to closer to conception is acceptable.

Thank you for your Good work!

GOD BLESS YOU Senator Inhofe! You make us proud! I know God is pleased with your unapologetic stand defending the rights of the unborn. You and your awesome family are in my prayers! Thank you for your service and your character!

    Thank you for your video.

Not once but twice I was pressured to have Abortion. Not once but twice I fought to save my child. The first time was over 30 years ago, as an unwed mother. I was pressured by people telling me how much better my life would be with out my child. I said I have to go with God's commandment and I did not kill. My child is 30 years old and has made me a grandmother 2 times. So my choice long ago still goes on!

The second time, was quite unbelieveable, I was married and my husband and I had decided that we would not have any more children since he was into his 40's. I took prescribed medications that caused the birth control pill not to work and became pregnant. My husband wanted me to abort the child, I fought hard for several months to keep from aborting him. A few years after the child was born we divorced. He died when my child was 11 from alcohol abuse.

I later found the right place for me with God and remarried a man that is a Christian. He had no biological children. But he now has my child and my child has him. And neither I believe would be complete without the other. My child is a very vibrant 15 year old today.

When faced with abortion, I am proud to say, I said NO, and I don't apologize.
God has a plan for us is like a puzzle. We only see one piece at a time. Sometimes when in rough situations we think, hey this piece doesn't fit, however, it does and if we throw out a piece, we may not be changing God's outcome for our happiness, but sometimes someone elses also.

I say don't abort, you never know who's future that baby may effect.

Reading these responses to your stand for life has brought tears to my eyes. I am so moved to know that there are so many others who believe the same way I do that an unborn child is a human being. If it weren't for two wonderful women who chose wisely, I wouldn't have two terrific (adopted) kids. I appreciate this opportunity to share with you all so much. We never hear in the media or anywhere else that there are so many of us who believe abortion must be stopped. May God bless you all. Never give up.

You are absolutely right Senator. Our nation was founded on every human being having three basic rights, but the first, most basic, and most important of those rights was the right to life. This right is one extended to all human beings, not just those who are born, and 100% healthy. The right to life does not discriminate, but apparently some of our leaders in office do. Thank you for what you stand for, Senator.

I am pro life without appology as well. We have the "Free Will" to chose right every moment of every day. I support every political leader who upholds and defends the Most Holy Will of God the Father Almighty. Anything else is the junk from below and all who follow the freedoms of satan to kill will eventually be with him unless they change. I pray for all who don't believe and for all who think killing the unborn is a right and a freedom.

    God Bless you all,

Thanks for staying strong on life. I generally haven't voiced my opinions. I am politically an Independent. God is watching us and it seems to me He would want us all to choose life not death. Those who frame the democratic platforms as "progressive" are not only oxymoronic but moronic. Freedom with out responsibility is a nation-killer. We can explain our choices when we meet our Maker at our judgement day. Thanks and keep up the good work.

and it is such a blessing to know that we have people in all walks of life that values the importance of life. God said "Thou shalt not kill* and i do believe that if you break ONE commandment, you're breaking all. a sin is a sin.

Senator Inhofe, thank you for your inspiring message! I truly do love California, but it is times like this that I feel a little twitch to move. Our morally bankrupt and largely absentee senators are an embarrassment.

Not, mind you, that anyone here sees it, being largely of the same deep blue color.

First of all, I thank you Senator Inholfe for your strong stand for the sanctity of human life. You and the other members of congress who support life will be in my prayers.

Secondly, I support the sanctity of human life because God made every human being special in His eyes. We have a right to live that has been given to us by our Creator. Except in cases of self defense, execution for murder or to save the lives of others, only God has the authority to take away life, since He created life. It is therefore our duty to use our talents to contribute to the protection and respect of all human life from conception to natural death.

    For Christ I stand,

Sen. Inhofe, thank you for taking the time to speak to the people about the importance of life. Although I tend to be more of a liberal, my studying of life through philosophy has led me to feel the same way many conservatives feel about the topic. I have a question for you, that if you have time would be great of you to answer. Although I am pro-life, I understand why people don't keep their babies. Aside from the often selfish reasons, many believe that the babies simply won't be adopted. I have done service wokr in orphanages in the US and abroad and often the conditions are less than favorable. Do you think one way to encourage people to not have abortions would be to sure up our adoption agencies and legislation across the country, so that all Americans.. regardless of sex, creed, religion, or sexual orientation could adopt? I think this may lead to more people keeping their children alive and could place them in loving homes where they could prosper. Of course not everyone should be able to adopt, you should have to have health insurance, and not be a felon obviousley but if we expanded the pool of potential parents to those of a homosexual orientation do you think we can achieve our shared goal, life for all?

Thank you, Senator for speaking up for those that can not speak for themselves. We need more government officials like yourself who are not afraid to take the moral high ground and stand for life. Thank you for representing us Oklahomans so well and for setting such a good example.

    Senator Inhofe,
I am very glad to know that you are a Senator. We need more leaders like you in office. The sanctity of life is the most important issue. I truly believe that if we put God's principles/values first, we will be blessed as a nation, but our nation must come together and stand for what is right first. God created. How dare we destroy what HE has created. We do not have that right, especially killing innocent life that has no choice or voice.

Here is why I am prolife:

    Jeremiah 1:5
    “ Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
    Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

GOD KNEW THE BABY IN THE WOMB.

Luke 1:44 For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

JOHN THE BAPTIST HAD FEELINGS OR EMOTIONS IN THE WOMB.

    Job 31:15
Did not he who made me in the womb make them? Did not the same one form us both within our mothers?

    Psalm 139:13
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.

GOD FORMED US WITHIN OUR MOTHERS WOMBS, THEREFORE GOD IS CONCERNED ABOUT WHAT GOES ON IN THE WOMB. IF BABIES ARE NOT HUMAN BEINGS, THEN GOD WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN INTERESTED IN THEM. He wouldn't have "knitted" us together in the womb.

ALL of these verses prove life is in the womb... and that human beings have emotions in the womb...and that God has a special purpose for each one of us...

The constitution of the US gives all people the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. People that kill babies in the womb are murderers. There is no other word for it. There is a contradiction in our legal system, too. How come Scott Peterson and Bobby Cutts Jr. got convicted of double homicide? If babies are not human beings in the womb, then why are these two men serving time for killing them?

Thank you so much for standing for the truth. God bless you.

May God richly bless you and your family. Thank you for defending the sanctity of life, from inception to natural termination and everywhere in between.

Sir, I could not agree with you more; while there are many important issues, this must stand above all else. As a future lawyer, it is good for me to remember this: It is not just about legal victories or about beating Planned Parenthood, the ACLU and others; it is about fostering and developing a CULTURE OF LIFE, helping those who call themselves "pro-choice" truly UNDERSTAND what that tragic "choice" actually entails. It means that we lovingly--but firmly--insist upon an HONEST discussion of what abortion REALLY is, in all its horror. And it means that we help people understand that they are SPECIAL, created for a PURPOSE and created in the IMAGE of a Creator who loves them dearly.

Again, thank you for your service to our country.

Next time anyone says they're "Pro-life with exceptions," tell them that those exceptions mean only one thing- corruption of blood. If we ban abortion in all cases except rape, the child would be dying for the crime of its father, which is a violation of the letter of the Constitution, no interpretation needed. "No crime shall effect corruption of blood."

  • Prime, Davis

    07/23/2008 08:00 PM

God bless you. It is my honest belief that in 100 years that either the world will look back on the abortion era as barbaric, or we will have seen the total decline and ruination of the U.S. If justice reigns, the arguments in its favor will be viewed by future historians in much the same light as we now look back upon the arguments and court rulings that would have legitimized slavery. In that day, those who championed the truth will be heroes, while those who did not will be rightly villanized. This is more than a political issue; it is a moral one, so keep up the battle, no matter what the opposition.

Thank you Senator Inhofe for your committment to the sanctity of all life. I know we want to make our main focus the unborn - can we also remember our older Americans with debilitating illnesses such as Alzheimer's Disease? There is so little support available to those who suffer from it as well as those who care for them. Could we put this on the table as well? God bless you and all you do.

Thank you Senator, for taking a stand "without apology" for life. As a mother of four, including twins (now 18) who were born 3 & 1/2 MONTHS early..barely "half done", it is amazing to me that anyone could destroy these innocent lives. In my state, Arizona, we currently have a Governor (Napolitano) who has vetoed the partial birth abortion ban, not once, but TWICE!! I can only visualize this procedure being done to my very early twins! It is appalling and this must be stopped! By the way .. the twin's are amazing and normal and ready to head off for college. Praise God!

    Sen. Inhofe,
Thank you for your dedication to all stages of LIFE. The defenseless voice of the unborn begs to be born. You listen to that voice. Thank you.
You don't wait to decide what to believe when you get up in the morning, but are a firm advocate for traditional values for this country. May God bless you for your commitment to the issues that really matter.

Thanks Senator Inhofe for your hard work protecting the right to life of the unborn.

Also, thanks for your work in the Senate to expose man-made global warming as the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people. The irrational alarmism over global warming is one of the reasons we face the energy crisis that is crippling our country today.

    Sen. Inhofe,

Thank you for taking such a storng stance on life. I had an abortion when I was 18 years old before I was a Christian and before I understood that a fetus is a life. I have regretted it ever since. I should never have been aloud to have an abortion, let alone without my parents' knowledge. God has called me to take on this atrocity in America.

I have started a petition for a Federal Human Life Amendment. I encourage you, Senator, to sign my petition and take a stand with me. I further encourage all others to sign my petition and send it on to everyone you know encouraging them to do the same:

    http://gopetition.com/petitions/us-federal-human-life-amendment.html

Anyone who stands so unapologetically for all life deserves to be one of our leaders. God Bless you, sir.

Thank you for taking time to share with us Jim.

The innocent cannot defend themselves, whether they be the unborn or the infirm. I am really greatful that Mike and many other conservative leaders are coming to realize that life beyond the womb is also important.

We cannot continue to cede the platforms of poverty, health and education (also related to the quality of life) to the democrats. We must find the way to reframe the debate so that as conservatives we can present policies to the people that address these issues more 'conservatively' than the ideas proposed by democrats.

    Senator Jim Inhofe,

Thank-you for sharing your thoughts via video.
I like that "Pro-Life without Apology" .... no apologies from me either. I believe in protecting life from conception to the grave. God is the creator and man has no right to take that life. My desire is that the "Ten Commandments" be brought back into display in our public and government offices. Even those who do not read the written word of God .... then by happenstance, perhaps as they encounter those words; it will then give them a moral compass for their lives and a conscience to follow.

God Bless you for fighting the good fight!

    Dear Senator Inhofe,

First, congratulations on forty-nine years of marriage. What a blessing.

It's so encouraging to come on here and read/watch these posts from leaders who share our values. In truth, those of us outside of your home state may know little about you, were it not for organizations like HuckPac.

Like many others, I was initially drawn to Gov. Huckabee's campaign because of his uncompromising, unapologetic views on life, marriage, and principled leadership. Thank you for holding those same qualities, and for posting here. I look forward to learning more about your positions and record during this campaign season.

    Blessings!

Thank you for participating in Vertical Day, Senator Inhofe! Best of luck in your bid for re-election!

I am a new convert to the Pro-Life throng. Governor Huckabee was the first politician to explain the stance in something I could understand and it made sense. We must be Pro-life or we are not being consistant. If we are not going to protect and honor human life from beginning to end than why should we worry about trapped miners or lost boy scouts?

    God bless you!
