Life is a precious gift and a sacred right. Our forefathers knew this when they crafted the Declaration of Independence; for without life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness cannot be achieved. Some people in this country seem to have forgotten this lesson and would deny life to those who cannot speak for themselves, those who are still in the womb. Using the courts, they attempt to define when life may begin according to their own callous standards and ignore the beating hearts of growing individuals who cannot as yet speak for themselves. The danger inherent in this philosophy is that it attacks the foundation of our rights and liberties. Once they can determine whether or not a person can live, then they can determine how your other rights can be restricted. If we do nothing to stand in the face of this form of tyranny, then we are forfeiting the sacred honor entrusted to us by our Founding Fathers so long ago. Like them we must stand up to those who would deny us our rights and resolutely drive them back. The protection of life is a fight we cannot afford to lose, and we must use all our resolve to fight the injustice that is abortion. We must let people know that life begins at conception and educate those who have become convinced by the other side that they can end the life of their child. We must take every step in legislatures and courts to roll back the “progressive” abortion policies that have been put in place over the years that make it easier for women and young girls to get an abortion. Life is worth preserving and our goal must be to convince Americans that life is not something we can casually throw away on a whim.
God Bless,
Brian K. Walker

Mr. Walker,
Thank you for protecting the unborn and good luck with your campaign. It's good to see that not all politicians just say what they think will get them elected and instead still stand for something worthwhile. -

I hear all of the time that an embryo is not human life; I think this argument gets used to make people feel better for being irresponsible. This is ridiculous; I sit back and just shake my head because these are the same people that will not eat a chicken egg if the white spot is too big or even present because that is a baby chicken. This is not only an issue for abortions but embryonic stem cell research, which does not need to happen. Every time there is a child born there is an umbilical cord full of stem cells that gets disposed of, this could be used for the research. The value of life has been lost by many it is nice to see people that still appreciate it.

Abortion is murder. Period. End of story. Life begins at conception. 2 living cells or particals whatever you want to call sperm and the egg. They are alive before and during the conception phase. It is unreasonable to even entertain the possibility that 2 living cells create a non-life for some period of weeks after conception. Living cells cannot create non-life!! Therefore, embryo's are living at all times which means to end an embryo or babies life at any time from conception to birth or after is murder unless it happens naturally! PERIOD!! If someone killed a baby after it was born like during the 1st minute outside it's mother it would be murder and they would be prosecuted. Why should it be any different coming down the birth canal or in the womb? What should be made law is that the doctor who performs the abortion should be tried under criminal law for murder 1? The girl or women having the abortion is an accessory to that murder which I think is murder 2? The nurse present in the room would also be an accessory and so on. If a parent has consented they are accessories. Bottom line is without morals our country is doomed. Requiring parental consent for abortions is relatively better than what is currently going on and maybe baby steps towards ending this murderous law is what it's going to take. However, if Pro-Lifers and the Judicial world would actually use the word "murder" it would help our case.

It is true. Life is worth defending. It is a right given to us by our Creator, as expressed in our declaration of independence. I will do my part and best to fight for life and end the holocaust of abortion.

Yes, indeed, human life is sacred, a precious gift from God. Therefore, our laws must protect *every* innocent human life, because "All men are created equal." This is very foundation of our nation.
Intentionally killing an innocent human being through abortion, embryonic stem cell research, or any other means is *intrinsically*—by the very nature of the act—evil. There are *no* cases in which such acts could be morally permissible. They are always evil acts, and so are *never* morally permissible, and should never be legal in any civilized nation.
It is a scientific fact, that human life begins at fertilization. And since, as the Declaration of Independence clearly affirms, “all men are created equal,” the life of the preborn is EQUAL in value to the life of the mother and the father, and to your life and mine. Therefore, any procedure or chemical that intentionally kills a preborn human being, from fertilization onward is always gravely evil, and should be completely prohibited by law *with no exceptions*.
**We must treat the preborn like we would treat any other innocent human being, because that’s what they are: persons to be loved and respected, not objects to be used and discarded.**
The purpose of medicine must be always to save lives, not kill. So, doctors, nurses, etc. must be required to do all they can to save the life of BOTH the mother and the baby in ALL cases.
To ensure that every child is safe from the crime of abortion, we need a Federal Human Life Amendment. This Amendment would need to make clear that (1) from the moment of fertilization onward, the preborn are persons with all rights pertaining thereto; and (2) therefore, all abortions, and any other procedures or chemicals that result in the death of the preborn, are expressly prohibited “except as an *unintended* consequence of saving the life of the mother.”
The words "except as an unintended consequence" are very important, because it would *never* be morally justified to intentionally kill a preborn baby, even to save the life of the mother, just as it would never be morally justified to intentionally kill the mother to save the life of the baby, and just as it would never be morally justified to directly kill you or me to save someone else's life.
BOTTOM LINE: The life of the preborn is EQUAL in value to the life of every other human being and so must be treated as such. PERIOD.
Because the life of the preborn baby is equal in value to the life of the mother, and every other human life, there is an absolute moral obligation to do all that is possible to try to save BOTH the baby's life and the mother's life in every case. In the tragic situation in which saving one person’s life results in the *unintended* consequence of the other person dying (an extremely rare situation today, thank God), then the doctors did all they could to save both persons and--very tragically--one died. That is totally different from someone doing a standard abortion procedure to *intentionally* kill the preborn baby. Such an act is always evil, in all cases, with no exceptions.
*Again, the life of the preborn baby is EQUAL in value to the life of every other human being, including the mother and father, you and I, and everyone else. That is the key. Every act must uphold this unshakable principle.*
The sacred words "ALL MEAN WERE CREATED EQUAL" means *ALL*! And “ALL” means every single human being, from fertilization on. All our laws must start with this principle. It is the very bedrock on this nation!

Thank you for sticking up for the most defenceless of our people.. God entrusted us with the knowledge on how to care for our children. Some do not practice these simple things. Some deny them the right to even have a chance to grow up . Was a very dark day in our history when the hight court said yes to Roe V Wade and it got a bunch darker when Clinton put the pen to the other "Partial Birth Abortion".. Thanks again and God Bless Tx. and USA

Wow! Exactly! Where have you been hiding?!? Politics needs more men like you Mr. Walker! Life is so precious and we must continue to fight for it! For if we give up we are letting down many innocent children that will be sentenced to an undeserved unfair inhumane death. People who are pro-choice have no good in them. God gives life so who do people think they are to destroy something that God has given?!? The life is not ours to take! Thank you for sharing with us the view of how precious a life is! Stay true to your convictions and God will truly bless your campaign if you are trying to carry out his will!

I would also like to thank thank you for your support of the unborn.
Day 1: fertilization: all human chromosomes are present; unique human life begins.
Day 6: embryo begins implantation in the uterus.
Day 22: heart begins to beat with the child's own blood, often a different type than the mothers'.
Week 3: By the end of third week the child's backbone spinal column and nervous system are forming. The liver, kidneys and intestines begin to take shape.
Week 4: By the end of week four the child is ten thousand times larger than the fertilized egg.
Week 7: Eyelids, and toes form, nose distinct. The baby is kicking and swimming.
Week 8: By the 8th week the baby can begin to hear.
Weeks 9 and 10: The baby can turn his head, and frown. The baby can hiccup.
Weeks 10 and 11: Week 11 the baby can grasp objects placed in its hand; all organ systems are functioning. The baby has a skeletal structure, nerves, and circulation.
Week 12: The baby has all of the parts necessary to experience pain, including nerves, spinal cord, and thalamus. Vocal cords are complete. The baby can suck its thumb.
Week 17: The baby can have dream (REM) sleep.
Week 20: The earliest stage at which Partial birth abortions are performed. At 20 weeks the baby recognizes its' mothers voice.
Notice: Life begins on day one, any time living cells are involved, It's life. I thought we lived in a country where taking a life was Murder, I believe its a state and federal thing all should recognize LIFE starts a Day ONE. why should any one have the right to take a life. What if George Washington's mother had Aborted Him? What if we have already aborted the next Einstein or Benjamin Franklin? This seems like a no brainer to me!! Someone with a loud Bold Voice needs to standed up and sell this argument for what it is, MURDER!!!!!!!!!!

First of all thank you for your support of the unborn. What is really annoying is the left always calling us hypocrites because altho we are for the unborn a lot of us support the death penalty for criminals. My suggestion is, that instead of calling us pro-life, perhaps a new name is in order. We could be "pro-innocent life" or "pro-baby" instead. That would really take the wind out of their sails. What do you think?
Thank you again.

Brian Walker,
Amen to that! Thank-you for fighting for life from conception to the grave. Life is precious and God given and as you say that when we get reckless in these matters then the other side loses their moral compass and it then becomes okay to take anyone's life. We also need the "Ten Commandments" brought back into public display everywhere.
Thanks for all you are doing!

Change and be saved...
Papal trip to Vigevano and Pavia
Benedict examines St. Augustine's path of conversionRome, Apr 23, 2007 / 07:24 am (CNA).- Enjoying the second day of his pastoral visit Lombardi Dioceses of Vigevano and Pavia, Pope Benedict XVI celebrated Holy Mass at the Borromeo College of Pavia.
The Holy Father focused his homily on the conversion of Saint Augustine, whose bodily remains the Holy Father visited at an Augustinian Monastery in the area. The conversion of St. Augustine, Benedict said, was not an event, but a path.
The Holy Father began his homily by examining the work done by the Apostles in the work of preaching conversion in this Sunday’s Gospel. “During Easter time,” His Holiness began, “the Church presents us, Sunday by Sunday, some parts of the preaching with which the Apostles, particularly Peter, invited Israel to faith in Jesus Christ.” Before the Sanhedrin today, Peter “responded with a brief catechesis on the essence of the Christian faith.”
“This brief catechesis,” Benedict continued, “is not valid only for the Sanhedrin. It speaks to all of us.” Jesus is, according to the Pope, “the ‘head’ that leads us on the way and the ‘savior’ that justifies our life.”
In fact, he said, the keywords of Peter’s catechesis are “conversion” and “pardon for sin,” “which correspond to Christ’s two titles, ‘head’ and ‘savior.’”
The Pope asked what one needs to do to convert. Noting that “conversion has its own, proper form for each life,”
he added that “throughout the history of Christianity, the Lord has sent us models of conversion, so that we may orient ourselves by looking at their example.”
Benedict XVI then noted the moving story of conversion found in Augustine’s Confessions. By reading The Confessions Benedict said,
“one can see that the conversion was not an event that happened in a particular moment, but was, instead, a path
(HUCK=PATH)(BEE=MARY).”Moreover, “this path did not end at the Baptismal font.” St. Augustine’s conversion was a gradual process, and “we can, therefore, speak of the ‘conversions’ of Augustine that were one large conversion that took place in his search for the Face of Christ and then while journeying along with Him.”
The Pope continued by expressing his desire to list “the three great steps on this path to conversion.”
“The first, fundamental conversion,” he said, “is the interior journey towards Christianity - that is, the desire to want to know Christ.”
“The second conversion is described by St. Augustine at the end of the second book of his Confessions.” \
After having been baptized, St. Augustine returned to Africa “and there he founded, together with his friends, a small monastery.”
However, the second step was his being called “to live with Christ for all".
He had to translate his knowledge and sublime thoughts into the language and thinking of the simple people of his city.”
Citing his humility as the “THIRD decisive step on St. Augustine’s path to conversion,” the Pope told those present that Augustine had found
“the highest level of humility . . .
the humility to recognize that the bountiful mercy of God was continually necessary for himself and the entire pilgrim Church.”
Benedict ended his homily by thanking '''
“God for the great light that shines forth from the wisdom and humility of Saint Augustine.”
The Holy Father prayed that “the Lord give all of us, day by day, the necessary conversion and lead us towards true life.” -

Mr. Walker,
I completely agree with what you are saying in this matter. That is why I have started a peition for a Federal Human Life Amendment, which when you are voted in as a Texas Representative, you will help me in my cause.
I have started a petition for a United States Federal Human Life Amendment, which will make it impossible for jugdges to overturn if the people stand together in this issue. I need to get this petition out to as many people as possible and it will take support from many, many citizens, organizations and companies to get the word out. Please personally read my petition, sign it and send it on to everyone you know. Additionally, please consider placing a link on your website and sending email alerts to your members encouraging them to sign this petition, as well. Please Speak to your board and get back with me as soon as possible. If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.
My initial goal is to get a million signatures, but my ultimate goal is to get 5-10 million signatures in order to get Congress' attention in this matter. We need to show congress that American citizens want to protect all life in the United states . Please click on the link below, sign the petition and send it onto as many people as possible. This is a foundation for the beginnings of a grassroots effort to make a Federal Amendment to the US Constitution:

This seems to be a neglected topic this election. McCain should be hammering Obama on the "born alive infant act". Also his stance on partial birth abortion. Guess he's too big a wimp.
