C'mon Everyone! If this were 2 days before the Ohio Primary, we would have raised $2 million by now!
Mike Huckabee was on CNN last night, keeping hope alive and fanning the flame for freedom!
Campbell Brown of CNN asked Mike who John McCain should choose to be Vice President. Mike was gracious, but did mention the conservatives who make this nation great.
Please pledge to donate $20 tomorrow under Ranger Code R23732 and put Mike back on CNN and FoxNews and ABC and CBS and NBC and anywhere he can get invited to keep getting our message out there!
I need 500 people to match my $20 donation tomorrow. Thanks!

Gov. Huckabee,
I want to be actively involved in HuckPac and helping to support conservative candidates. Can you let us know how we can better support the candidates you have highlighted -I am not sure how to help out because I live in a different state than they and my pocketbook is not very big.
Will you be setting Fundraising goals (by date) like you did during your Presidential Campaign -- the ones with the bar across the front of the website? I want to help, but I dont know what I can do from another state, and without participating in a Fundraiser Goal, I feel my small contribution will not go very far.
Can you help us know how to help?
Thank you.

If anyone wants my vote here in Ohio I will need to know their faith. Even if they aren't saved I need to know what their church of choice is. It tells a lot about the person. It tells me a lot about how they think. And to tell you the truth I believe it is dangerous for one church to get in power over this Nation and that's one way for them to do it.
With out this information I don't think I could in good conscience vote for them.
Your sister in Christ!

I'm not in South Carolina, but if I was, I'd be voting for...Buddy Witherspoon for US Senate (SC)
If you look at the issues, he seems like a top-notch candidate. Very similar in views to our man Governor Huckabee. Much better than McCain's lap dog Lindsey.

Two spots up-for-grabs (in conservative states) that are quite winnable...Mike Johanns for US Senate (NE)
Joel Dykstra for US Senate (SD)The first, we need to hold onto, as it's Chuck Hagel's old job (he's retiring). The second, is a seat we need to pick up (Tim Johnson [D] occupies it now).

Subject: Tom Casperson Announcement for U.S. CongressTom Casperson Announcement
State Representative Tom Casperson is making his official announcement for US Congress Monday, March 17th in Escanaba.
The event will be at the Day’s Inn (Escanaba) on US 41 from 12:00 to 1:00.
Event is open for all to all and light appetizers will be served.
For additional information, please contact Diane Casperson at 906-280-8800.
About Tom:
BACKGROUND:
Tom Casperson was elected in November 2002 to the Michigan House of Representatives in an upset of Menominee Mayor Laurie Stupak. He was re-elected in 2004 and 2006, securing as much as 68% of the vote.Prior to being elected to the State House, Casperson worked in his family’s log trucking business for 27 years, including 12 years as owner and operator of Casperson and Son Trucking. He represented the third generation in the business started by his grandfather.
Casperson was born July 20, 1959 in Escanaba, and graduated from Escanaba High School in 1977. He and his wife Diane, whom he married in 1982, continue to reside in Escanaba with their four children: Ashley, Tommy, Hillary, and Dane.
Casperson, elected by his peers as an Assistant Majority Whip, has served as the Chair of the House Conservation, Forestry and Outdoor Recreation Committee. He has also served as Vice-Chair of the Transportation Committee, as well as a member of the Committees overseeing Agriculture, Energy & Technology, Veterans Affairs, Tourism, and Transportation Appropriations. Additionally, Casperson has served on House Sub-Committees that examined a wide range of issues, including: Tourism, Alternative Energy, Gas Pricing, Cormorants, and Secretary of State Fees.
AFFILIATIONS:
Casperson served on the Board of Directors and the Transportation Committee for the Michigan Association of Timbermen; as President of the Michigan Professional Log Truck Council; and on the Legislative Committee of the Timber Producers Association. He also served on the Board of New Life Assembly of God Church in Escanaba for nine years, and is a member of the Bark River Lions.Casperson is a member of the National Rifle Association; the National Federation of Independent Business; and the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners, whom he also serves as a Board member.
DISTRICT ASSOCIATIONS:
Although Casperson represents only 3 of the District's 31 counties, he is already well established throughout the District, and has unique knowledge of the issues and dynamics of the District, for a number of reasons, including:He is the only elected Republican legislator (State and Federal) from the Upper Peninsula (which comprises nearly one-half of the District's counties). In fact, he is one of only five Republican legislators in the entire District. As a result, necessity has required him to take an active and visible role promoting conservative causes throughout the District.
His willingness to travel the District, logging on average 7000 miles each year outside of his District, but within the First Congressional District, to meet the people & address the issues facing the District
The positive relationship he has built with the media. Casperson has annually been featured on as many as:
38 radio shows (not merely daily news interviews) ranging from local stations in the District, to Lansing and metro Detroit stations, to Sirius Satellite Radio;
10 television programs (again, minus regular station nightly news interviews) ranging from Marquette to Fox News in New York; and
quarterly newspaper editorial interviews (again, minus regular nightly news coverage), and op ed submissions, in papers as diverse as the Escanaba Daily Press to the Detroit Free Press.
His tireless work ethic, leading him to regularly attend everything from Eagle Scout ceremonies, to Lincoln Day Dinners, to classroom visits, to Township meetings.
Additionally, to promote and tackle issues facing the First District, Casperson has brought over 50 of his legislative colleagues into the District.HONORS & AWARDS:
Advocate of the Year presented by the Michigan Manufacturer's Association in recognition of "advocacy and outstanding performance;"
The Tuebor Award, presented by Michigan Forest Products Council in recognition of "excellence in defending Michigan's forests;"

LEGISLATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Since being elected to the House, Casperson has introduced fifty three Bills and seven Resolutions, and authored twenty Public Acts, including:The Crib Truck Bill: The issue that drove Casperson to run for the House after a mother and her daughter were killed as a result of a log spill. The legislation permits timber haulers to haul wood "cross-ways" in "crib," which is a measurably safer manner to haul timber. (Public Act 142 of 2003)
The Healthy Forest Package: A package of Bills requiring the Department of Natural Resources to certify Michigan’s forest as sustainable forests. (Public Act 125 of 2004)

The Castle Doctrine: An Act that gives Michigan citizens the right to use force to defend themselves, and providing law abiding citizens with civil immunity. (Public Act 313 of 2006)
House Bill 5339: A Bill which prevented the State from seizing control of the Mackinac Bridge (Public Act 332 of 2005).
House Bill 6003: Legislation that provided $80 million to county road commission to allow them to expedite local road projects. (Public Act 141 of 2006)

House Bill 6245: Legislation that amended the Cervidae Producers Act at the request of the Industry to provide for updated and industry-acceptable standards. (Public Act 561 of 2006).
Amendments: In addition to being the primary author of twenty public acts, Casperson also successfully authored countless amendments to bills on a wide range of issues confronting the District, including amendments that: provided needed funding for the Sex Offender Registry; kept the Iron River State Police Post open; maintained the judicial staffing of the Dickinson County Circuit Court; provided needed funding for Northern Michigan University and Newberry Correctional Facility; and provided additional base funding for Bay De Noc Community College.

Pete Olson won his run off with about 70% of the vote!

Hey everyone! Thanks for caring about the country.
Someone who would doubtlessly appreciate some help is Florida State Senator Bill Posey who is looking to take a National House seat after the announced retirement of well-loved long time conservative David Weldon who is retiring.
Without a popular Republican incumbent, the seat for the 15th district of Florida is hotly contested as Democrats look to pick it up. With the changing demographics and political climate it could go either way this year.
Personaly I would love to see Republicans as the majority party in the House this year. -

Please Support Buddy Witherspoon to replace Lindsay Graham in the Senate. To learn more his website address is: www.buddywitherspoon.com He is a True Conservative, and Proudly supports the Fair Tax. Mr. Witherspoon spent two hours waving Fair Tax signs, passing out literature, and encouraging people to get behind the Fair Tax yesterday afternoon with about 30 other supporters at the Main Charleston Post Office.
Time after time Lindsay Graham has bobbed and weaved his way around questions of Tax reform. He "says" that he supports tax reform, and comes up with some nice sounding, vote collecting ideas, but year after year does nothing to further those ideas while in Washington. He has abandoned True Conservative principles over the last few years in favor of politically "safe" votes. I had the chance to ask him direct questions concerning the Fair Tax, Social Security and Medicare going beyond Bankrupt, etc. and he had no solutions and lame excuses for not supporting the Fair Tax. IN FACT, when pressed on the issue, and every excuse discounted, Mr. Graham finally admitted that he didn't think the Fair Tax had enough political support for him to put his name and support behind. All this after what was made to look like an empassioned speech about making a stand for what you believe is right regardless of the consequences. Mr. Graham was not only 100% behind the Ill-legal Immigrant Amnesty push, but as late as last October publicly berated a woman who voiced her unfortunate personal experiences, concerns and questions about this very subject. I, along with 40 to 50 other people were present to witness what I thought was the saddest and most incomprehensible reaction from an elected Federal official toward a voter that I have ever seen and hope I would never see again.
Mr. Lindsay Graham should be the Poster Child for exactly the kind of Republican that should no longer enjoy the support of "True" Conservatives. -

Mike Johnson,
Does Gayle Harrell support the FairTax!? It sounds like he ia a strong cadidate, but often that one issue may be the only major difference between conservative cadidates.
Just curious.
Also, for anybody in SC, please explore Buddy Witherspoon's web site and see how much better he is on all of the issues than his opponent (and fellow Republican) Lindsay Graham. -

I hope you will consider Buddy Witherspoon in the Senate Race in South Carolina. He is a strong Fair Tax supporter and is running against Linsay Grahamn for his seat. Linsay is out of touch with the people here in South Carolina. He has also claimed to be against the Fair Tax. -

I'd like to suggest Brian Davis for consideration. He is running for the 1st Congressional Seat in Minnesota. Brian is a physician at the Mayo Clinic and so he brings alot to the table in terms of health care knowledge. He has strong family values and would make an amazing representative for the 1st District.
